Biblical Characters of Men Who Were Holy and Blameless

[Hymn music] Church of Jesus and fellowships cannot be more spiritual than the individuals and families that constitute them. God greatly desires a godly home from. These are words of restoration and instruction in righteousness from Family Test Ministry. May ye be blessed as ye listen. [Music] Last week we were able to look at God's, always have this plan. And we saw that this plan have always been there. It has been there before time was. And that was God did it in timelessness and that it will have a manifestation in time. The plan have always been there. And there was a high point last week which I want to emphasize and from there get into today's continuation as we try to look at some important characters in the Bible to make us see that God have always have this plan. But if you look at an high point of what we got to last week, I said something that the issue about being holy, it is not a man's project. Man is not going to be holy because man wants to be holy. Men are going to be holy because God have a purpose that men should be holy. So it's like it is God's project. If there's anything that gives me so much confidence about this matter of holiness and godliness, it was the day I realized that it is not because I desire to be holy, that's why I will be holy. If anybody desire to be holy, God is going to work the desire. As it says in Philippians 2:13, He works in us both to will and to do. It is He. He planned in timelessness that men would be holy. That was His plan. He planned it from timelessness that men would be, and when He planned it in that timelessness, everything to make it possible is also with Him. None of the project depended on man. If we can get that clear, I was trying to illustrate something yesterday with some young people. I said something. It is like I want to build a bridge. I have a plan to build a bridge. In building that bridge, I have this plan that I will need some engineers. I will need some laborers. I will need some craftsmen to do some manipulation and crafting. So all the resources to build the bridge, even when I want to build the bridge, I made resources available. Then the engineers, they don't even exist. I want to make you understand this matter of holiness and godliness. The engineers to do it, they don't even exist. The laborers don't exist. They are nowhere. As at when I had that plan, I was the only one in existence. Remember that God had the plan ever before time was. He was the only one that was in existence. Nobody else was in existence apart from Him. So while He was alone existing, He had a plan to build a bridge. I'm talking about to make men holy and godly. So He made resources available: the cement, the sand, the granite. But you also need engineers. Where are the engineers? Are they existing? Were they existing? No. So He now went again into the market to get some materials. Those materials, He now begin to work on the materials. He now begin to turn some of the materials to engineers, turn some of the materials to laborers, turn some of the materials to craftsmen that will get all the work done. So the engineer, as at whether the bridge will be built, has nothing to do with the engineer because they themselves did not exist when the plan was designed. The Bible said ever before time was, He had the plan. And so all the whole project is about Him. Now if that sink deeply into us, it gives us a sense of understanding that from the finish, from the starting point to the finishing point is God. He's the author and the finisher. No man can come unto me except the Father draw him. So the Father draws, it's about Him from start to finish. So I want us to look at a verse from the scripture as we try to journey further today. It's a very familiar scripture, Ephesians chapter two. Last week we were looking at there's this plan that have always been there to make men holy and blameless. Today we want to try and look at biblical character in this matter. But I'm trying to bridge everybody together for some of us who were not around last week. And I was saying that when the plan was in existence, when the plan started, only God existed. The Bible says before time was. God called us with a holy calling ever before time began. That was our focus last week. But I don't want to repeat everything we said. Now look at Ephesians chapter 2 from verse 1. It says, "And you hath He quickened, who were dead in trespasses and sins." Where were we? Dead in trespasses and sins. Who quickened? God quickened. "Wherein in time past ye walked according to the course of this world, according to the prince of the power of the air, the spirit that now worketh in the children of disobedience. Among whom also we all had our conversation in times past in the lusts of our flesh, fulfilling the desires of the flesh and of the mind, and were by nature the children of wrath even as others." Verse 4, "But God, who is rich in mercy, for His great love wherewith He loved us, even when we were dead in sins, hath quickened us together with Christ. (By grace ye are saved;)" What followed in verse 6? "And hath raised us up together, and made us sit together in heavenly places in Christ Jesus. That in the ages to come He might show the exceeding riches of His grace in His kindness toward us through Christ Jesus." Again verse 8, "For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God." What is salvation? It's a gift from God. So you see, I'm just making you understand something. Before anybody get saved, it is for God so loved the world that whosoever believe should not perish but have eternal life. He said go into the world and preach the gospel. But we must understand something. Once somebody is saved and is on the other side, he need to understand that it is actually a gift. Do you get whether you understand me? When we go preaching, we don't go preaching looking for, okay, who do we preach to? We go into the world to preach. But as we are preaching, if eventually one, or two, three person get saved and the person comes inside, the person should understand that the whole process of being saved is not about him. It's about God. I'm trying to show that even when God made the plan, the workmen were not existing. They were not available. They were not on ground. The engineers that would eventually be building the bridge, we that are becoming holy and we are going to preach to convert others, we were not existing. Getting the engineer to build that bridge of holiness, getting us to do it, even the engineers themselves, it is the handwork of God. That's what I'm trying to prove to you. Now verse 9, what did verse 9 say? "Not of works, lest any man should boast." So who can boast that it is because he wanted to be saved, that's why he was saved? Nobody should boast. You got saved because God was working. He was the mastermind. I'm trying to show you this so you can understand why you must stand tall. If you understand that the project is not about you, you should understand why your life cannot fail. The project is beyond you. The project is God's project. You are just part of that project. Even though you are a man that have a will, you are still part of that project that God is running. What is the project? To make men holy, to make men blameless. You are just part of that project. Now what does verse 10 say? "For we are His workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them." Another translation, verse 10, we are God's masterpiece. He has created us alone inside Jesus so that we can do the good things He planned for us long ago. What is the good thing? To be holy and blameless. The good thing He planned long ago, we are the workmanship. Another translation, masterpiece. I'm just looking for something that will simplify it. It is God Himself who has made us what we are and given us new life from Christ Jesus. And long ages ago, He planned that we should spend this life in helping others. Now you are following what we are trying to say. There's this good work. Understand it, in helping others. Who help others? Who can help others? The light and the salt of the earth. He said you are the light of the earth and you are the salt of the earth. If you remove holiness and godliness, can a man be light? Can a man be salt? Can the godless be a light? Can the fornicator be a salt? So get the point that we are making. We are made to become something so that others can join into the work building the bridge. Another translation, let's see what The Message is. Know that we neither made nor saved ourselves. God does both the making and saving. He creates each of us by Christ Jesus to join Him in the work He does, the good work He has gotten ready for us to do, work we had better be doing. Work that we had better be doing. What I'm trying to bring out of all of these things is to get something clear, that from the start to the finish it is God. From the start to the finish it is God. From the start. If that becomes clear, the matter I was raising when we started initially because I want when others have gathered, I'll be able to address much more, but I've given the background. We must do everything to break down these high places. The high places where praises and worship is offered to God on the set mind of man cannot be holy and blameless. It's a high place today in the church. We always believe that when we want to come to God's presence, there must be a repentance we must always do to access God. Do you understand what I'm trying to say? We have spent, it's a high place. Every time we want to come: God, whatever sin will hinder us from accessing You, forgive us, the blood of Jesus wash us clean. Then we now start to make request: God, bless. By the time we come again the following Sunday, what do we do again? God, any sin that will hinder the blessing. By the time we come again on Wednesday, what do we do again? Do you know that there's a constant consciousness of sin? There is a continuous consciousness. Some will even tell you that it's sweet in Yoruba: "ati amomoda ati aimopa a ti d'ese." You get the point I'm making. There's this constant consciousness, every praise, every worship we want to bring to God is always on the high places of repentance from sin. There's a continuous consciousness of sin. And so even when people are just born again, we get them born again on the platform that holiness and godliness is not attainable. We must always, there must always be a thing you'll be repenting from till you will die. There's always that, it's a mindset. It's a mind that is set today in the church. It's a mind with which we approach God constantly. And every time we come like that, we always feel that we are doing well when we always say, Lord, we are not worthy to come into Your presence, whatever sin, forgive us. They say the prayer of cleansing, confession and repentance, before the prayer of request. And it looks like it is humility. It looks like humility. It looks like somebody is humble. It looks like a sanctimonious way of approaching God. But I am telling you that it is a high places. It's a high place that needed to be broken down. What God has set in mind is that from the start, by the time we get to the finishing line, it will be possible to get men that are holy and that are blameless. And I want to say this to you. I think we said this when we were beginning the move of the Spirit. There are dispensations with God. The first one was which dispensation? Dispensation of innocence. The Adamic covenant. That covenant ran until there was the covenant of God with Noah. Then that one ran till the Abrahamic covenant. You understand what I'm trying to say. Now I want you to look at these dispensation. In the dispensation that existed between Adam and Noah, while there were, you can be pointing to several life, several life, several life, several life, you notice that God, there was a reference to a man. Who was that? Enoch. Where you see an attainment of what God intend in mind. There was an attainment of it. It was not attained in the spirit, it was attained in time. That dispensation ran and then God took him. It continued again to another time. God began to show different men: Noah. Even the people He did the covenant with messed up at a point. He got drunk and he cursed his child. That was Noah. Then the Abrahamic. Down the line again we saw the sinking sand of Abraham, and on and on and on and on. But in the midst of that story again, there was a show of. Who did they show us again? They show us Job. Job was shown. Because that first story was lacking details, we got another one that had details. The number of Enoch was short, it looked as if he never lived, never mixed with people. We saw one. Then it moved on. We saw another person again. Who was that? In the prophet, that was Daniel. We have not checked Daniel's story. Look at the summary of Daniel's story. Look at Daniel. Just go to the summary of Daniel's story. Are you in Daniel chapter 12? Let me read from the verse 8. "And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand." It didn't talk about heaven or earth. When He said many shall be purified and made white and tried, but the wicked shall do wickedly, and none of the wicked shall understand, it talk about heaven or earth? Earth. So many will be purified. Is that not true? Many will be made white. Is that not true? "And from the time that the daily sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination that maketh desolate set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred and ninety days. Blessed is he that waiteth, and cometh to the thousand three hundred and five and thirty days. But go thou thy way till the end be: for thou shalt rest, and stand in thy lot at the end of the days." Let me take it again in another translation. "As for you, go your way until the end. You will rest, and then at the end of the day, you will rise again to receive the inheritance set aside for you." What are they saying about Daniel? I'm trying to show you, these are men. Under what condition did Daniel live? Under what condition? The environment, Christian? Encouraging Christianity? Who was his master? An unbeliever. Surrounded by idol worshippers. In a nation that everything was godless, like Nigeria. Am I correct? Nigeria, they say corruption is from where? It's from where? They say it's from the top. Am I not correct? They say ah, we cannot correct it. I remember when I met somebody somewhere in one of the government office. I said, "Sir, bro, you are part of these things." "Ah, sir, ah, you will not understand. You will not understand." He said it in Yoruba, "atoke ni, atoke ni." That is, it is from the top. "T'a ba deliver, t'a ba deliver, awa o d'eliver." That is, we must get something back to those at the top. "T'a ba de deliver be yen, won ni believe." We must make, my question was, must you be on the job? Must you do the job? And my challenge was the three Hebrew boys. Were they not on their job? Then their master came with a policy. Whosoever will bow to this thing will live. Whosoever do not bow will die. Where's the policy coming from? From below or from above? From the top. "Atoke ni." Is the corruption not from there? From the top. And then they played the song, papa, I don't know how it sound, and everybody went down. Even the Levites, the priests that were brought from Judah, everybody went. But the boys were still standing. And then some people went to mention it to the king that, "Ah, King, did You not say so-and-so and so-and-so? Okay, okay. You see there's no problem. I'll give you another opportunity. They are going to do the thing again. You can see the fire burning. So make a decision now." It's more difficult when you are far from the authority. Do you understand? It's more difficult when you are far from the authority. But now they picked them, they now brought them before the king. "Is it true that you said this, this, this, this, this?" In that situation, it is more difficult. Am I correct? There is no human that don't naturally fear death. So it was more difficult. But in that situation, the boys again they made some utterance. Now I want to ask you, those boys, would they not condemn our generation? Say it's from the top. I didn't want to do it, but no, the management, the VC, the governor, the president, in Nigeria you know you are at the middle, it's flowing from the top. That was their explanation. Exactly, we must obey. But that one is even easier because they were three. If you want to backslide, Shadrach will say, "Hey, come on, don't be afraid, God will see us through. Don't be afraid, it's okay." And then you will take heart. Do you understand how people because they are three? It's easier. "Let's pray together. Father, Father, help us against the king." You know there's a way there is power in communion. Bible left that stage, now show us only Daniel. Nobody should worship anything for thirty days except the king. This one, no encouragement, it was only him. As his usual practice, he opened the window. It is wisdom to close and pray inside. Would God not hear the prayer? He could have just closed the window. God knows my heart, it's in my heart. He would have just done the prayer inside the house and then God they won't even know whether I pray to God or not. That would have been wisdom. But we saw this brother. His lifestyle did not change. He didn't change his lifestyle. He said as his usual practice, he opened the window and he faced Jerusalem and he prayed and he prayed and he prayed. But I want you to mark one thing. A panel was set up to examine how holy and blameless. These men are looking for how to bring you down and you are the only one among them. Which file will they not search? Bible said after they have searched all the record, they have searched all the file, they have searched everything they must have also tried some other things, but they came to a conclusion, we cannot find fault with this man except in the matter of his God. That was a man. He was not a spirit. This one was not living in favorable condition. It was a harsh condition. I'm trying to place this thing against the high places of our own worship when we come today. "Ese amomoda." The one we don't know that we have committed, God just forgive us. You do that this Sunday, you come again on Wednesday, every sin that will hinder the prayer, God forgive us. You come again next tomorrow, "Ah, Baba, we know we are sinners, we cannot but sin. We have eaten sin like meat, we are drinking sin like water, but You know we are sinners, just forgive us, we have just come to collect bread again." You come again next Sunday, "Baba, You know this time around, we are men, we cannot but sin. If You are to mark sin, who will be justified?" Lord, Job will be justified. Enoch will be justified. Daniel will be justified. They searched, they could not find anything, they said in the matter of his God. Then they set the trap now around his God. He continued. And then when they took him and they were taking him to the lion's den, he got there, but we saw how the whole thing turned around. The point I'm making, that man lived, he lived and lived and lived and lived until that's why sometimes you take the Bible, you say if any man desire the office of a bishop, is that a good thing? A bishop therefore must be blameless. We say it's not possible. You know in our mind. What we normally say in our mind, there must be some blame. We'll just manage the brother. You know in our mind. Am I correct? There's something inside our mind. God was showing me that there's a high place that I must break. That every time you bring sacrifice, it is on this high place. Until you break this high place, you will never come to the fullness of what I want to do in your life. We have already set a high place, another way to look at it is where Bible says that casting down imagination that exalt themselves against the knowledge of God. There's a knowledge of God, but there's a imagination that is exalted above that knowledge. If you don't cast it down, you will never enter the fullness of what God intend for the church. And that imagination is what I'm showing you. There's already this, there's already this set mind that says no matter how much I try, there will still be some blame. God will just be managing me. Do you understand? Look deep, deep, deep at the back of your mind, it is there. When you look at the way sin is in the world and the way men are sinning, something will tell you at the back of your mind, I may be different, but I cannot be perfect. I will still have my own small. That is what I'm calling the high places. That is the high place. A thing that we must deal with. What I'm saying is that there's a stronghold on our life. It starts as a pinhole, later it became a foothold, now it has become a stronghold. Bible says the weapons of our warfare are not carnal, but mighty through God to the pulling down of strongholds. This thing have held us so strongly today that I remember a case. My brother too is aware. Something happened, they want to say, "Ah, Jesus Christ said whosoever have not sinned, let him throw the first stone. So whosoever don't have sin among us should be the one that can discipline the brother." In other words, we should not be talking of discipline in the church of God. There's already this belief that if whosoever has not sinned, there will always be sin. But if there will always be sin, I bring this scripture to you. Why Jesus tell the woman, "Go and sin no more?" Was Jesus exaggerating? He said, "Go and sin no more." Is Jesus saying that what He said there is not a reality, or He was just joking? Maybe He was just joking, He was just cajoling the woman. You know we know that Jesus cannot be cajoling somebody. He can't. He can't. I'm showing you this biblical example to see men. But more importantly, I was talking about covenant just now, different dispensation. There have been different dispensations and different covenant. Of all the covenant, which is the most powerful, the most efficacious and the most effective of all the covenant? Grace. Is that, is it grace? Now look at what the Bible says in 2nd Corinthians chapter 3. Look at what Apostle Paul said, let me read with from NLT from verse 1. "Are we beginning to praise ourselves again? Are we like others who need to bring you letters of recommendation? Or who ask you to write such letters on their behalf? Surely not. The only letter of recommendation we need is you yourselves. Your lives are a letter written in our heart. Everyone can read it and recognize our good works among you. Clearly, you are a letter from Christ, showing the result of our ministry among you. This letter is written not with pen and ink, but with the Spirit of the living God. It is carved not on tablets of stone, but on human heart. We are confident of all this because of our great trust in God through Christ." See if your trust have died, your trust that God can produce in you a life that is holy, I pray there will be a restoration of that trust in the name of Jesus. He says of this great trust in God through Jesus Christ. Look at the next verse. "It is not that we think we are qualified to do anything on our own. Our qualification comes from God. He has enabled us to be the ministers of His new testament. This is a covenant not of written of laws, but of the Spirit. The old written covenant ends in death. But under the new covenant, the Spirit gives life. Verse 7, 'The old way, with laws etched in stone, led to death, though it began with such glory that the people of Israel could not bear to look at Moses' face. For his face shone with the glory of God, even though the brightness was already fading away. Shouldn't we expect far greater glory under the new way, now that the Holy Spirit is giving life? If the old way, which brings condemnation, was glorious, how much more glorious is the new way, which makes us right with God?'" How much more glorious is the new way which make us right? You following something? The new way make us right. Under translation, verse 9, "If the government of condemnation was impressive, how about this government of affirmation? Bright as that old covenant was, it would look downright dull alongside this new one." Verse 10. "If the plan that leads to doom was glorious, much more glorious is the plan that makes men right with God." Are you understanding? That first plan, the plan under which those people were working, is actually not designed to be glorious, it was to lead to doom. It was the ministration of death. That was the law. That one, where people were talking all those one that we are talking about. These men that we are talking about, look under the one that they operated. And we find them. God could say, "Satan, have you seen them?" Under that plan that leads to doom. Because the whole plan before Christ was to bring man to a point where man would know that he's a sinner. I hope you know. The whole reason for all those things was to bring man to know that we need Jesus. All those things that God did was just to make us know. He said the law is our schoolmaster that will carry us like this and bring us to Jesus in shame so that we can be free. If that one would have been pointing men, we are pointing men, we are pointing men, we are pointing men. Now what do you think we should point under the one where not as if men were made to be able to do right, men were made right. Do you understand the difference in what I am about to emphasize? You are not made to be able to do right, you were made right. So if men were made right, when He made them sinners, they proved that they were sinner. Didn't we prove it? Now when He made them right, will it be a difficult thing for righteousness to come out? Should it be a difficult thing? So why is it becoming so much a difficult thing today? Is the journey that we are taking. I'm showing you that the first thing is that there's a high place. That high place is the first fundamental thing. Because don't forget something. As long as God cannot be trusted to effect something, grace will never effect it. Mark my word. As long as God cannot be trusted to effect something, grace will not effect it. As it says in Hebrews 11:6, "without faith, it is impossible to please God." Let me explain it again so you can get it clear. Jesus said, "For as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of Man be lifted up. That whosoever believes will be saved." Let's go back. If as Moses did that is what we are looking at now, Jesus was to be crucified. How was He crucified? Lifted up. What is the instruction? Looking unto Jesus, the author and the finisher. Let's go back to the Old Testament. In the wilderness, the serpent on the floor, very real, very potent, very destructive. Is that not? The serpents were moving. They were moving. What was the prayer? God, take away the serpent. What was the response? Moses, lift up a bronze serpent. It shall come to pass if anybody is bitten by that serpent, let him look up and the person will be saved. Okay, Jesus is lifted that same way. The serpent symbolizing Satan and all his works. You know that everything in the old is a shadow of the new. Have you read that scripture before? The shadow was there, the substance is here. In the shadow, what is in the shadow? If you are bitten by the serpent, what is the natural thing to do? Look down. They are examining the bite. As you are examining, what is going on? The venom will be spreading. What eventually happen? The person will die. If you are bitten by the serpent and you look away from the serpent and you are looking up, you keep looking up. You keep looking up. What happen to the venom? What took away the venom? Effort? Strength? Might? Determination? What took it away? Faith. You just looked up. You were just looking. Every time you see that serpent, do you need to run? Do you need to fear? Do you need to panic? Do you need to think that you cannot conquer the serpent? Do you need to have a mind that we cannot but be bitten by the serpent? Since the serpent is everywhere. Is that the mind that God wants to work with? What should be it? Even if we are bitten by the serpent, it cannot hold us down. We will walk on the serpent. He said I give you authority to walk over scorpion and serpent. I'm trying to show you what God had in mind. But if somebody is not looking up, or the person looks up and look down, he looks up, he look down, he look up, let's try to illustrate it. The venom will spread as he looks up. He look down. As he look down, the venom spread. As he looks up, the venom goes. It goes down. He look down, the venom spread. He looks up, the venom go. Do you understand? Is that not the state of your people in the church today? Is that what happen in our churches today? We feel holy for five, six days. We look down again. We feel sinfulness. We come to repent. After we have repented, we collect what we want to collect from God that Sunday. Before Wednesday, we have looked down again. We come again. Are you understanding? I'm showing you the physical representation of this thing in how we live our life. But I'm showing you biblical example of men. And I'm trying to baffle you with this 2nd Corinthians chapter 3. It says, "For if the old, which bring condemnation was glorious, how much more glorious is the new way which makes us right with God?" In fact, the first glory was not glorious at all compared to the overwhelming glory of the new way. Another translation of that. In fact, the first one is not glorious at all. Verse 10. In fact, that glory as it shone from Moses' face, it worth nothing at all in comparison with the overwhelming glory of the new agreement. What did the Bible say? It worth nothing. That one, what Job did to Satan where we ended last week, that God achieved His purpose in Job. Didn't He? So that prompted. For Satan was quieted. Did we hear the voice of Satan again in that matter? He went and and God came and said, "Did you hear the voice of Satan again in that matter?" If what that one did, what are we learning from here? It worth nothing. So what did God expecting us to do? What when God was arranging that of Christ, what was God planning toward? That Job will be so small. That by the time He begin to show the one through the church, Job himself will be saying, "Heh! So he can get to this point again?" Because that one will no more be glory. Do you know why? Do you know why Job will say so? Job was operating his own by daily killing animal. Killing animal, killing animal, killing animal, killing animal. Are you understanding? He was constantly making atonement for his children, making this, making that, making this, making that. And so he was working. But in this one, we are more than conquerors. For by one sacrifice, He perfected forever them that are sanctified. By one sacrifice, Jesus perfected forever them that are sanctified. That is why I keep saying when this thing was flying around the campus in FUTA then, it doesn't matter even if you sin once, forever saved. I said the people are blind. If you really understand the meaning of eternal salvation, you will know that what the gospel should be should be, since we are eternally made right, it becomes impossible for sin to continue. That should be the correct pronouncement. And not that even if we are sinning, it doesn't matter, Jesus' blood covers it. That is not the purpose. It was for something more than that. It was not to make us sinning saints. Because you need to remember, there was no saintly sinner. Was there a saintly sinner? There was no saintly sinner. So why will there now be sinning saints? It's a confusion. Some people have been discouraged. I'm here to say what man cannot work but sin. But we are saying that the project, it is God that works in us both to will and to do. God can work without sinning because He's a Holy Ghost. And that's why I tell people, if you really come into the fullness of this covenant. That's where we are going gradually. We are climbing up small-small. We'll still get to the climax of this discussion. If you get into the fullness of this covenant, you will come to understand something I like saying very well in Yoruba: "Eni t'o ba lohun sin Olorun, elessin ni, a de d'eni essin." I'll interpret it. Who did not understand that? Who is not a Yoruba person? Only one person. I will interpret. He also didn't understand. We can understand for Ruth, but not for you that is a Yoruba girl. If anybody says that, the word is not serving, the word is, I'm trying to find the correct translation in English. It's complex in English. How do we put it in English? Making an effort to be religious. To be religious. Taking effort to please God. The person who says that we are the ones trying to please God, will never be able to please God because we are not supposed to be trying to please God. I don't know if that is the correct way to translate it. Because in trying to please God, in that thing of trying, you keep sinking. You keep sinking. You keep sinking. Rather it is the other way: Olorun l'o n sin wa. You get the point of what I'm trying to say. It is like a situation, He's God that is at work in us to do His will. You get the point I'm making. So it is God that is at work in us. When you come into the fullness of this covenant, you will see that it is God that is at work in man to please God. It is not man that is working in himself to please God because man by himself cannot please God. Because we have taken God out of the center of Christianity today is why we have become what we have become today. So we have now concluded we cannot but sin. Of course, we cannot but sin. How can man not sin? Because he's weak, he's mortal, he's fragile. He cannot but sin. But man needs to move. Whatever that is born of the Spirit is spirit. He must move. He must understand what God did. If he does not understand and begin to look at Jesus, "No, in Jesus I am this, in Jesus God said this, in Jesus God did that, in Jesus this what God said, I'm a new creature, I've been made right, I cannot sin, I will live in Christ a righteous being, I've been made holy, the plan of God." The more he's saying that, what happens to him? He's becoming. He will be becoming that. If he's not looking at that, if he looks away from that, "You know I'm a sinner, I cannot but sin, I cannot but lie." What will happen? He will be going down. So because Jesus is not at the center today, it now looks like yes, nobody can live right. But what I just want us to do today, I've been able to establish something, that biblical characters shows something, that men have been made holy and men are live right. Number one. Two, these men who live right, they live right under a covenant that is inferior to our own. And number three, what we are beginning to conclude today, the third one you need to conclude is that, listen very well, that if in working, if in effecting the plan, God effected everything in Christ, is that not? In effecting that plan, God work through so many things. You need to understand me. He work through nature, He work even Satan was incorporated into that plan. Are you aware? Was he not incorporated into the plan? Principalities, were they not incorporated? The wicked, were they incorporated? Deceivers, were they incorporated? Judas, was he incorporated? They were all incorporated into the plan for that plan to go on. Do you get me? Listen to this. If God can incorporate the wicked, the deceitful, the devil, they were incorporated and God was able to achieve the plan in the death and resurrection of Jesus, then I want you to know, as in that plan, in those that are His own, it's easier for Him. Did you get that? Note it very well. If He could achieve it in those that were against Him, then achieving it in His own is easier. I have, you need to tell yourself this great truth. Go home and break the high places. That's the thing we need to go home to do today. Go home and destroy the high places. That thing that says no, you cannot, you cannot but sin, you cannot but continue in sin, that thing that you have believed, I'm saying you have believed a lie. You have believed a lie. You want to break down the stronghold. That's what we are doing this morning. Look into your mind. What have you set in your mind? Break down the stronghold. Break it down. Free yourself. When the goats are in our house this morning, our dogs were free, but they didn't know that they were free. They were still working inside the enclosure. They didn't know there was nothing blocking them. They just stayed inside. And my wife said, "Wow, this is how some Christians are. They cannot walk in liberty. They didn't know that they are free. They still work inside confinement." You have been set at liberty to be holy. Always remind yourself. If there was no saintly sinner, if that English is correct, there cannot be sinning saints. Because what made us sinners is nothing compared to what made us righteous. What made us sinner is Adam. Adam was what made us to become sinner. What made us right is God. What Adam can effect will be nothing compared to what God can effect. What Adam can effect will be nothing compared to what God can effect. The sin of Adam cannot effect what the death of God can effect. Adam and God are not equals. The creation cannot be equal to the Creator. What an ordinary creation, a creation, sand that we just gave the breath. What when that breath itself now died to rise again? Think of what it can effect. Break that high place. Break it over your life. It is possible to attain. Enoch attained. Job attained. Daniel attained. Jesus said, "Go, sin no more." There's an attainment we can attain in God. There's an attainment we can attain in God. And I'm telling you the basis for the attainment has been done. God has made us right. God has made us right. God has made us right. We're already right. So to do rightly should not be more difficult. If God could make us right, then the righteousness that will come out of it should not be difficult. If we can plant a tree to be mango, then to produce mango should be easier. It is the making of the tree that is more difficult. To make the tree produce the fruit is easier.
