[Speaker 1]
He has made me glad. He has made me glad. He has made me glad and I am so glad. I will rejoice for He has made me glad. Hallelujah, He has made me glad. And I am so glad. I will rejoice for He has made me glad. I will enter, I will enter His gate with thanksgiving in my heart. I will enter His court with praise. I will say this is the day that the Lord has made. I will rejoice for He has made me glad.
We thank our God again for today. We give Him glory and praise. We give Him honor and adoration. We appreciate Him for His love and for His mercies. And as we come again into His presence this evening, I'm trusting the Lord that it will be a time of encounter in the name of Jesus Christ. Let's have a word of prayer as we move on to our study, Biblical Concept of Faith 24. This is the 24th edition that we're having today.
Almighty God, we are grateful unto You. We thank You for Your love. We thank You for Your mercy. We thank You for Your goodness. We thank You for Your grace. We thank You for all who You are and all that You are. We say glory be unto Your name in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord, unto You we gather this evening. We ask, oh Lord our God, our brethren who are connecting with us from Telegram, our brethren who are connecting with us from Mixlr, we who are here physically, Lord we pray, meet with each and every one of us in the areas where we need You most in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank You, Eternal Father. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
Now I want us to quickly turn our Bibles to Hebrews chapter 12 that we were considering last week. I want us to look at something there as we move on today. Now in Hebrews 12, we saw that the Bible makes something very, very clear, that therefore we also, since we are surrounded by so great a cloud of witnesses, let us lay aside every weight and every sin which so easily beset us, and let us run with endurance the race that is set before us. And we emphasized last week that when you find that a man cannot lay aside or the man find it very difficult or the man find it impossible to lay aside weight and besetting sin, it is a sign that faith has not become a reality.
The reality of the biblical faith, like we saw earlier, is that the biblical faith is not just an idea. Those who are in this faith, they can see. There is a seeing; faith has eyes. And until our faith can see, then it becomes difficult for us to practice biblical faith. Today we want us to move on to look at chapter 9, 10 through 11 as we try to move on in biblical concept of faith. Our focus is actually chapter 11, but I want to call your attention to something in chapter 9, something very, very important. And then we will enter into 10 and then we will come to sit squarely on chapter 11.
Now in chapter 9, I want us to read something from verse 1. It says: "Then indeed, even the first covenant had ordinances of divine service and the earthly sanctuary. For a tabernacle was prepared: the first part, in which was the lampstand, the table, the showbread, which is called the sanctuary; and behind the second veil, the part of the tabernacle which is called the Holiest of All, which had the golden censer and the ark of the covenant overlaid on all sides with gold, in which were the golden pot that had the manna, Aaron's rod that budded, and the tablets of the covenant; and above it were the cherubim of glory overshadowing the mercy seat. Of these things we cannot speak in detail. Now when these things had been thus prepared, the priests always went into the first part of the tabernacle, performing the services. But the second part, the high priest went alone once a year, not without blood, which he offered for himself and for the people's sins committed in ignorance; the Holy Spirit indicating this, that the way into the Holiest of All was not yet made manifest while the first tabernacle was standing. It was a symbol for the present time in which both gift and sacrifices are offered, which cannot make him who performed the service perfect in regards to the conscience, concerned only with food and drink, various washings, and fleshly ordinances imposed until the time of reformation."
Now look at what it now said about Christ. I want you to know something about the old covenant. The old covenant could not do anything about the conscience of the people. The old covenant could not do anything about a renewal of mind. The old covenant could not do anything. The old covenant was more about activities and rituals. Now the Bible says that that system was going on until there will be a reformation, which means God was not really interested in rituals, ceremony, in all of these sacrifices. God was not too interested in all the activities. But there was something that God was interested in, and that the old one could not address. It could not address the matter of conscience.
It could not address the matter of a renewed mind. It could not address the matter of when the Bible says "do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewal of your minds." The old one was just about activities; it was about rituals; it was about devotedness and some ordinances that they practiced. What I'm trying to make you understand is that biblical faith is not about rituals. Biblical faith is not about activities. Biblical faith is not about just devotedness. The center of biblical faith answers to the matter of the conscience and the mind. It answers to the matter of a renewed mind, an awakened conscience. When the mind and the conscience don't come to play in Christian activity, we're not dealing with biblical faith. We're dealing with what used to be, and the Bible says that will be until the time of reformation.
Look at what the Bible now says about Christ. It says: "But Christ came as High Priest of good things to come." I want you to get something. I want you to see that mere devotedness is not a good thing. Mere activities is not a good thing. Ordinances, traditions, conventions, they are not good things as long as they don't answer to the matter of a renewed mind. As long as a believer is not experiencing a daily renewal of mind, whatever that believer is practicing as Christian faith is not the biblical faith that Jesus came to introduce, because the Lord came to bring the things that are good.
Those things are not... it is not good for a man to be devoted, to be committed, to be full of rituals and activities, and yet that man don't have a changed conscience. There is no constant renewal of mind. What the Bible says in Romans 12:2 and in 2 Corinthians 3:17 and verse 18... Can we quickly just see that? 2 Corinthians chapter 3, I just want you to... I'm trying to talk about when the Bible says: "But Christ came as a High Priest of good things." The good things that Christ came to introduce. Let's see 2 Corinthians. 2 Corinthians chapter 3, I will read from verse 17 into 18. It says: "Now the Lord is the Spirit; and where the Spirit of the Lord is, there is liberty."
Which liberty is it talking about? If you go up a little... I want to show you something. When you read from verse 13... maybe I should read from verse 13 to that verse 17 so that what I'm saying can be clear. It says: "Unlike Moses, who put a veil over his face so that the children of Israel could not look steadfastly at the end of what was passing away. But their minds were blinded. For until this day, the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, but the veil is taken away in Christ." Hallelujah.
Are you understanding me? I'm trying to make you see something very, very serious. It says unlike Moses, with Moses there was a veil. Where was the veil? The veil was on the mind. It's talking about Moses having a veil covering his face so that the people could not see through, they could not understand, they could not respond, they could not see through. I have already spoken about faith as eyes. So they could not see it. It says unlike Moses, who placed a veil so they could not look steadfastly. They could not see. Their faith did not have eyes. So because they could not see it, they could not practice it. Because there was a veil, Moses placed a veil so they could not look steadfastly. They could not see. Their faith did not have eyes. So they could not follow God. They could not move at the speed of God. They could not move with God because there was a veil.
Now the Bible says: "But their mind was blinded." So are you getting it now? When we are talking about a veil, when we are talking about the eyes of faith, what are we talking about? We are talking about a mind that is constantly being renewed. We are talking about a mind that is progressively understanding God. We are talking about a man who is daily changing because the mind is constantly changing. I tell people the mind is the battleground. The Bible says we are transformed by the renewal of our mind. The more our mind is being transformed, once our mind is being renewed, the believer is experiencing a transformation from glory to glory into the likeness of Jesus.
Now what the Bible tries to make us understand is this: when we get born again, our mind don't get born again. Our mind don't get born again when we get born again. Our mind is not born again. What is born again is our spirit. We become a new creation. But we're still carrying our old mind. Now it is the renewal of that mind that we are calling Christian growth. It is the changing of the mind into the reality of the spirit. Something has happened to you spiritually. But your mind cannot see it; your mind don't understand it. But it actually happened. It happened to you. Freedom came, renewal came, you were translated from the kingdom of darkness to the kingdom of light. All of these things happened to you.
You were called into the family of God, you were given power to become a child of God, you became a new creation, old things have passed away. All of these things happened to you, but your mind doesn't know. That is why you will notice that the Bible says in 1 Timothy chapter 2, the Bible says the will of God is that all men be saved. That is number one. What's the second thing? "And that they should come to the knowledge of the truth." So when a man is saved, spiritually everything comes to him. But there is a problem. If he does not begin to know the truth, that is a changing mind. The mind must be changing to know, okay, so this is who I am now. Oh, so God has done this for me. Oh, so this is what God has done. So I am this in Christ. So I have this in Christ. So this is who I am. That is what we are calling spiritual growth.
Now there was a problem with that of Moses. There was a veil. There was a veil. Unlike Moses, who had a veil, who put a veil over his face so that the children of Israel could not look steadfastly at the end of what was passing away. That was what they experienced with Moses. They could not look at what was passing away. But their minds were blinded. So we were talking about the veil on the face of Moses. What does it correspond to? What does it correspond to? To the mind of the people. So there was a veil on their mind. Their minds were blinded. For until this day, the same veil remains unlifted in the reading of the Old Testament, because the veil is taken away in Christ. Hallelujah.
Now the Bible says Christ is a High Priest who brought better things, because the veil, which is blindness upon the mind of the people... 2 Corinthians chapter 3, verse 13 and 14... there was something that blinded their mind. Now that veil remains until the coming of Christ. Christ brought better things because in Christ what happened? Blindness of mind is taken away. There is something that Christ did. That is what the Bible refers to as liberty. It says: "Nevertheless, when one turns to the Lord, the veil is taken away." When anybody turns to Jesus, that veil... where is the veil? We are talking about the blinding of the mind. Where the conscience cannot answer. Where the person is not experiencing a daily transformation, a daily change from the way the person thinks, and the thought is getting more and more beginning to think the way God thinks, beginning to talk the way God talks, beginning to act the way God acts.
That is what we are referring to as the mind. Now the veil is taken away in Christ. It says: "But we all, with unveiled faces..." That is why Christ is a High Priest that brought better things. So in Christ what do we have? Unveiled faces. That is, our mind is not blinded. Unveiled faces, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord. What is that mirror? The Word of God. It says the Word of God is a mirror. As in a mirror, "are being transformed." Are you seeing it? Where does transformation take place now? Where? In the mind. "Are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory, just as by the Spirit of the Lord." That is why Christ as a High Priest brought better things.
What I'm trying to make you understand is this: biblical faith, what we are discussing in Hebrews chapter 12, when the Bible says faith has eyes to see, it is that seeing that makes faith not to be idealistic, that makes faith not to be theoretical, that makes faith to be real. It is that eyes that was opened in Mary Magdalene that we looked at last week, and there was a change in her level from the level of confusion to the level of direction. Somebody who was confused now had direction. Somebody who was confused now came as a minister of the gospel to the elders and said, look, nobody stole the body of the Lord, the Lord is risen. Because something happened to her mind. There was a way she was reasoning before, but something happened. She is now reasoning in a new way. She is now reasoning in another way.
Now what I'm trying to make you understand as believers is that what essentially makes Christ or makes Christ a better High Priest is that Christ came so that our conscience, our mind can answer to God. What I'm saying is that when an individual is not experiencing a daily transformation... that transformation actually is what we saw in 2 Corinthians chapter 3 when it said: "But we with unveiled faces, beholding as in a mirror the glory of the Lord, are being transformed into the same image from glory to glory." That is we are becoming more and more like Jesus in the way we think, in the way we talk, in the way we act, in the things we do. Why? Because our mind is open; there is no veil on our mind.
What I'm trying to make you understand is that when you come into Jesus, you need to know that essentially what Jesus brought to you is that your mind can daily experience transformation. If you are constantly inside the church, in fellowship, and all that is about church and fellowship is about daily routine, daily convention, daily activity, a pattern of doing things and that pattern continues, but there is no constant encounter that makes you to daily be changing... It says we are transformed from glory to glory by the Spirit. It is that transformation from glory to glory, that change from one level to another level, that we are calling that faith has eyes. It begins to see more clearer, better, better, deeper, on it goes.
So essentially what Jesus came to offer to us is a changed mind. What Jesus came to offer is that our mind can now answer to God. What that means is that we can daily be changing. We are daily being transformed by the renewal of our mind. And that is why I keep saying, if let's take it now, let me use time, 2020, the way you see God is the way you are still seeing God in 2025, something is wrong with your faith. It is something I'm talking about becoming more and more. You'll be seeing God better and better, going deeper and deeper, becoming more and more and more like Jesus.
Now Christ is the High Priest of better things. Can we move back to that Hebrews chapter 9? Let's quickly get back there. Hebrews chapter 9. Christ is the High Priest of better things. Christ is the High Priest of a changed mind. Christ is the High Priest of a constant changing from one level of glory to another level of glory. Now the Bible now makes something very clear, that because of this changed mind, because of this change that came, because of that change that came, what happened? What follows? I want you to see what follows as we enter into chapter 10.
In chapter 10, verse 1, the Bible says the law, having a shadow of good things to come, and not the very image of the things, can never with these sacrifices, which they offer year by year, make those who approach perfect. Are you getting something? What are we understanding? It's trying to make you see that rituals, activities, mere devotedness cannot make anybody to become anything in God. There's nothing wrong with being devoted. There's nothing wrong with doing one thing or the other for God. There's nothing wrong with conventions. But we are saying that when Christian faith don't transcend them, that is why you will see people who have spent all their years in church, all their life in fellowship, but when it comes to acting and talking like Jesus, you see a wide margin. They'd rather talk culture, they'd rather talk philosophy, they'd rather talk tradition, they'd rather talk... and they are spending all their life inside church. They are ministers, some are pastors.
Now that is what we are trying to address. There is something you need to understand. Except we are experiencing a daily change in the mind, nothing can be perfect. Nothing can be perfect. Nothing can be perfect. Now it says could not make those who approach to become perfect. It says: "For then would they not have ceased to be offered? For the worshipers once purified would have had no more consciousness of sin. But in those sacrifices there is a reminder of sins every year. For it is not possible that the blood of bulls and goats take away sin. Therefore, when He came into the world, He said, Sacrifice and offering You do not desire, but a body You have prepared Me. In burnt offerings and sin offerings You have no pleasure. Then I said, Behold, in the volume of the book it is written of Me to do Your will."
Previously saying, "Sacrifice and offering, burnt offerings for sin You did not desire and had no pleasure in these things which are offered according to the law," then He said, "Behold, I come to do Your will." He takes away the first that He may establish the second. Are you getting something? So what exactly was done by Christ? Christ took away rituals. He took away traditions. He took away conventions. He took away mere sacrifices. There's nothing wrong in sacrifice, but mere sacrifices that does not answer to what? A constant change in the mind. He took it away to establish a new thing. And that is why it becomes important for you to know the reason why many believers could not practice biblical faith is because more often than not, instead of having a mind that is constantly experiencing a daily change from one level of glory, one level of encounter with God to another level of encounter, they are just constant.
They are inside the church. They are just church people. They are just fellowship people. But they are not experiencing a constant transformation of the mind, a constant going from one level to another level. It's not happening within. So what do you call them? You call them church people. But there's a fundamental problem: they are not kingdom people. They are not kingdom people. Now let me quickly move on. Let me quickly move on. It says, talking about Jesus: "But this Man, after He had offered one sacrifice for sins forever, sat down at the right hand of God. From that time waiting till His enemies are made His footstool. For by one offering He has perfected forever those who are being sanctified. But the Holy Spirit also witnesses to us, for after He had said before, This is the covenant that I will make with them after those days, says the Lord. I will put My law where? In their heart, and in their mind I will write them."
So you are seeing that there's a movement. Where is God moving to now? Dealing with what? The heart and the mind. The heart and the mind. The heart and the mind. Now it says then He added: "Their sins and their lawless deeds I will remember no more." Now where there is a remission of these things, there's no longer an offering for sin. Therefore, brethren, having the boldness to enter the Holiest by the blood of Jesus, by a new and living way, which He consecrated for us through the veil, that is His flesh, and having a High Priest over the house of God, let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our heart sprinkled from an evil conscience and our bodies washed with pure water. Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. And let us consider one another in order to stir to love and good works, not forsaking the assembling of one another together, as the manner of some, but exhorting one another, so much as we see the day approaching.
Now I move on to how He concluded that verse. I want to from that verse... I move to verse 35. It says: "Therefore do not cast away your confidence, that has great reward." Now I am bringing something together quickly. What is it that connects us to the matter of confidence? He has told us that we now have a High Priest. Please look at something. We have a High Priest. What make this High Priest different from the other High Priest? What make this High Priest different from the other High Priest? Because in this particular High Priest, the veil has been taken away.
Now what I'm trying to make you see, the matter of not throwing away a confidence, what I'm trying to make you understand, brethren, is that it is for men who are daily changing that you can talk about Christian confidence. The confidence that comes with faith, the confidence when it says do not cast away your confidence that has a great recompense of reward, is not just talking about something that is vague. It's talking about something that is real. What is real? What is real is that unlike the former one, you could not see through, you could not understand the person, you could not see the person you are dealing with, you could not relate to the person that you are dealing with. You could not see Him. They were following God, but they were following God through Moses. They could not see through to the God that they were following.
That is why you notice in Psalm, He said: "He made His way known to Moses, but His acts to the people of Israel." So the ways of God they did not know. The ways of God they did not know. The person who had confidence, the person who was confident in that walk, was the person who knows the ways of God, the person who could encounter God one on one, who could see God, who could hear God. Now please, what made Moses different from the Israelites? He knew the way. What are we talking about the ways of God? He could see God. He could hear God. Moses could see God. Moses could hear God. God was not an idea to Moses. God was not somebody far away. God was... Moses was dealing with a real person. He was dealing with what he can see, what he can hear. It was real to him. That's exactly what He's trying to tell us. That is what He's calling our attention to.
When He said do not cast away your confidence, you cannot have confidence in a God you are not seeing. Can you build confidence in who you don't know? Can you build confidence in who you cannot see? Can you build confidence in who you cannot relate with? Confidence cannot be built in who you cannot see. Confidence cannot be built in who you cannot see, in who you cannot relate to. If I say, trust me, what do you want to trust in me if you don't know me? What are you trusting? There's nothing to trust. So when the Bible says: "Therefore, do not cast away your confidence." It's talking about something that has where there is a one-on-one relationship, where the eyes can see, where the ears can hear. So that is where we are talking about confidence.
Now He says: "Therefore, do not cast away your confidence, which has a great recompense of reward. For you have need of endurance, so that after you have done the will of God, you may receive the promise. For yet a little while, and He who is coming will come and will not tarry. Now the just shall live by faith. But if anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in him." If anyone draws back, My soul has no pleasure in... please look at something. It talks about confidence. It says do not cast away your confidence. It move on to say: "If any man draws back, My soul have no pleasure in him." So what is that saying? Don't cast away your confidence that has reward. Is that not? Is that not?
Now He now said when you don't cast away this confidence, He says don't cast away this confidence, the just shall live by faith. So please, brethren, what exactly is faith? What exactly is faith? Look at it. He says faith is simply not casting away what? A confidence. You have confidence in someone and you are not casting that confidence away. When you don't cast that confidence away, then it means you have faith. So what I'm trying to make you see is that whether you call it faith or you call it confidence, are you talking about the same thing? You are talking about the same thing. So the point is, is it possible to build confidence in something, in someone you don't know? I mean you don't have a personal relationship with somebody. Is there a way... how does confidence come normally?
Track record. What He's trying to make you see is this as you move from glory to glory, that you form track record on which confidence is built. Now it is as you move from glory to glory that records, records, track record, track record, God did this, I encountered Him in this, He did that, I encountered Him in this, God said this, He said that, He said... Now you begin to create record, record, track record, which what I'm trying to make you see is that what we saw at Hebrews chapter 12 when it says "seeing." Once the eyes of faith, the eyes of faith, once that eyes are not open, track record cannot be formed.
Do you notice that for Magdalene that we used last week, what made Magdalene to become a different person from what she used to be was what? Her eyes of faith was what? Was opened. And what does that actually mean? She had a personal one-on-one encounter. And when she went back to the elders and the elders were saying something else, can she agree with them? She cannot. When they tell her no, no, no, she will tell them no, no, no, I also know what I'm saying. So the point I'm trying to make you see is that what actually summed up in Hebrews 11 is actually that Jesus... Jesus did something. There is something.
And you see, now, now, I want you to bring something together, brethren. I want you to connect something for us. Something quite very, very important. Now, now, I want you to bring something together, brethren. I want you to connect something for us. Something quite very, very important. Now because when you get to Hebrews chapter 11, how did the Bible opened? What do you see in the verse 1? It says: "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen." Let's take it in another translation. What is faith? It is the confident assurance that what we hope for is going to happen. Now are you seeing... are you seeing that 11 is just flowing from where? Where is it flowing from? It's flowing from 9 and 10. Jesus is the High Priest of what? Of good things.
What is the good things? Or what are the good things that Jesus brought? Jesus took us beyond mere sacrifices, mere offering, mere devotedness, mere activities, mere religiosities. He took us beyond all of that. He brought us into a new platform. What is the new platform? A platform of removed the veil. Let them be able to see through. Let them be able to see Me. Please I'm going somewhere, because the Bible told us again. Please get something clear. The Bible told us that it is by this faith that the elders obtained a good report. So I'm trying to make you see something very clearly, that actually the matter of an open mind actually came, was actually available before Jesus came. It was... the Bible says it was by faith. This kind of confidence of encountering God one on one, of seeing God, of knowing God, is not something that began when Jesus came. Before Jesus came, elders have obtained good report by this kind of thing.
So what exactly are we saying? What exactly... when He say Jesus is the author of better things, you see, I want to make you understand something about "see." If you are not coming to a point where your eyes of faith, where your encounter with God is something that is personal, passionate, consistent, continuous... I'm trying to make you see something very serious, that the matter of encountering God personally was something that happens too under the Old Testament. It actually happened. It happened. So but the Bible now makes us to see that Jesus brought good things to make our conscience to answer towards God, to make us to have personal encounter, to remove the veil so that we can see steadfastly and become confident.
But we're also seeing that come to think of it before Jesus came, was that not what David encountered? Was that not what Abraham encountered? Was that not what Enoch enjoyed? All of these people enjoyed this thing. They enjoyed this thing. They enjoyed this thing. Now why did the Bible now says that when we come to Jesus, the veil is taken away, unlike what happened with the Old Testament? It's not happening in the New Testament. You see, I'm trying to make you understand something. The Bible want us to know, the Bible want us to know, that it is so crucial for you to see that the people, the people, please get something. The people who obtained good report under the old was because there was what we call... I'm trying to remember this song, "There Shall Be Showers of Blessing, Precious Reviving Again." "Over Hills and Valley, Pour Abundance of Rain. Showers of Blessing, Showers of Blessing We Plead. Mercy Drops Round Us Are Falling, But for the Showers We Pray."
Do you get something? What the Bible wants you to see is that men who were able to obtain good report under the old were men who had a mercy drop. Are you... are you following me at all? It is the people where there was mercy, there was a mercy drop. There was mercy drop, mercy drop, mercy drop, mercy drop. Where there was this mercy drop, you find elders who did not live like the Israelites. For the general Israel, they could not follow God. They could not become anything in God. It is those individuals who experience mercy drop, mercy drop. It was the mercy drop because as at that time the Holy Spirit had not been poured. But because nobody can walk with God without seeing God and hearing God, it's not possible. You cannot walk with God without seeing and hearing.
You will now see what men who experienced mercy, mere mercy, mere mercy, what they did. He wants to use that to challenge us. He wants to use that to challenge us. He wants to use that to make us to see something, to understand something. So what we are saying today, brethren, is biblical concept of faith. What Jesus actually is the High Priest of better things. Anybody in Jesus, where Christianity don't becomes personal, real, where Christianity don't go beyond "I'm a member of this church, I'm in this activity group, I do this in my church, I do that every day, I go every Sunday." If Christianity is like that, there is a problem. There is a problem. Why? Because Jesus is a High Priest of what? Of good and better things. Jesus is a High Priest of good and better things.
Jesus is unlike Moses. Jesus is unlike Moses. He is a High Priest of good and better things. And I'll be able to explain fundamentally what we mean by good and better things. I want you to just talk to the Lord this evening. You may need to repeat some of the prayer we prayed last week, that God... God need to... see, you cannot just remain at the level of doubt, fear, confusion, not having direction until you meet some elders. You don't know where to turn. When elders say like this, it's like this. You don't have understanding, you cannot see, you cannot hear. That is not biblical faith. That is not biblical faith. Everybody at the initial level of Mary Magdalene is not in the Christian faith. I'm telling that's what I'm trying to make you understand.
Anybody at that level is not in the Christian faith. In fact, I tell people, if everything about your Christian experience is simply directed by some elders, then it is witchcraft. It's not Christianity. As many as are led by the Spirit of God, they are the sons of God. There is a place of a personal encounter. A place of a personal work. Yes, in the multitude of counsel there is safety, but anybody who cannot be led by God's Spirit is not a child of God. There is this place where Magdalene can now stand and say, "Apostle Peter, Apostle John, the Lord told me that He is risen. The Lord told me that He is not dead. The Lord told me that He has not been stolen. I saw the Lord. The Lord said..." There must be that dimension in your life. There must be that depth in your life. That is what Jesus brought to Magdalene.
Magdalene, you need to go beyond this level where the whole of your Christian work is directed by what people say, what elders say, what the church believe in. This is the believing my church. This is the believing in our chapel. This is the believing in our fellowship. If that is all you practice as Christianity, you don't understand biblical faith. You don't understand biblical faith. Jesus wants to take you from that level. From that level. From that level. Jesus wants to bring you because He is actually the High Priest of good and better things. He is the High Priest. That Jesus in your life... I am saying this thing because whatever you don't know, you cannot ask God for. If you don't know this truth about the Jesus in you... See, He that is in you... I'm trying to make you understand the Jesus you received. The Jesus you received. Talk to Jesus. Talk to Jesus. Can you say, "Jesus, I am not a spiritual bastard."
Magdalene cried. Magdalene cried, and Jesus changed her experience. I believe if you cry to Jesus, if you cry to Jesus, if you cry to Jesus... because actually He is the High Priest of good and... that is what He came to do. He came to change. That is the point I'm bringing. He's the High Priest of good and better things. He's the High Priest. In fact, what we mean by that is what He brought. He came so that it can become a track record, track record. God did this, God did this, God did this, God said this. This is what, this is how, and me, it is an encounter. Something where you are changed. You are changed every day. You are changed every day from one level of glory to another level of glory, from one level of glory to another level of glory, from one level of glory to another level of glory.
Oh, thank You, Lord Jesus. Thank You, Lord Jesus. Thank You, Lord Jesus. Thank You, Lord Jesus. Thank You, Lord Jesus. You are a High Priest of good and better things. You are a High Priest of good and better things. You are a High Priest of good and better things. You are a High Priest of good and better things. You are a High Priest of good and better things. You are a High Priest that transcend devotedness, mere devotedness, mere membership, mere membership, mere rituals, mere activities, mere... Oh, You are a High Priest that transcend all of this. You are a High Priest of revelation, of insight, of discernment. Ah, of foresight, knowing what is to come, knowing what is to come, knowing how they are to come, being able to say this is where God is going, this is what God is doing, this is what is to come.
Thank You, Eternal Father. In Jesus' most holy name we pray. Let's share the grace together in fellowship. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit, be with us now and forevermore. Amen.
