Biblical Concept of Faith (6)

We give Him glory, we give Him honor, we give Him praise, we give Him adoration. We thank Him for His love, we thank Him for His mercies. We thank Him for all who He is and all that He is to us. With my mouth, with my mouth, will I make known Thy faithfulness, Thy faithfulness. With my mouth, will I make known Thy faithfulness to all generations. I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever, I will sing of the mercies of the Lord."] Our Father, we are grateful unto You. We thank You, our God. We bless Your holy name. We give You praise, we give You glory for this privilege of gathering together again this evening for another time of reflecting on Scriptures, learning from Your Word. Lord our God, we pray that as we all connect together—we who are physically here, our brethren who are connecting on Telegram, our brethren who are connecting on Mixlr—Lord, we commit ourselves all into Your hands. Lord, we just pray, Baba, work in our midst. Lord, meet with each and every one of us where we need You most. Lord God Almighty, we look up unto You. Grant us light and direction. Lord, we pray, individually be filled with the knowledge of Your will in all wisdom and spiritual understanding. Cause us to walk, Lord, in every way pleasing. Cause us to be filled with the knowledge with all good works in every way in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank You, Eternal Father. Lord, we pray this evening that it will be, oh God, on the basis of Your inspiration both for the speaker and for the hearer in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank You, our Father. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. So, we are moving on with our Bible study that we have started about five weeks ago now: Biblical Concept of Faith. And we have been looking at this matter. We began with the book of James. We saw some important characteristics of who a believer is. A believer is not a vain talker. A believer watches over his word to perform it. A believer's faith means responding to the dire need, ability to see the dire need of the brethren and responding to it. Faith we also see is actually obedience, particularly when it looks odd, particularly when obeying God looks like, wow, is there an alternative to this obedience? Faith simply means obeying God. Again, we saw that faith is allegiance to God. we saw that faith is allegiance to the people of God. We also saw finally that when there is no good work, when there is no fruit of good works, then there is no faith. Then we also saw that faith is doing the will of God. All of these are the biblical definition for faith. So, any man who talks, who doesn't mean what he says, who does not say what he means, does not understand the faith of the Scripture. Men of faith are men of integrity. They mean what they say and they say what they mean. They stand by their words, just like God, to perform whatever they say. They are not breakers of covenant. They are not faithless people who break covenant. They are not base people. These are the things we have been seeing about the biblical concept of faith that we drew from the book of James. Please, if you were not with us when we were looking at the book of James, I want to beg you, that epistle gave us the fundamental for what the Bible calls faith. And then when we were through with all of that, we moved to the book of Exodus. Exodus chapter 1 and chapter 2. That was what we did last week. In looking at Exodus last week, there were some things that came out very clear, very, very clear to us about faith. We saw that the biblical concept of faith makes us to see so clearly that God is a God who brings about seemingly impossible situations and obviously impossible situations so that He can manifest His glory, He can show forth His power, He can show forth His wonder. God brings about seemingly difficult situations. That's one thing that faith makes us to see. So, if you are in a seemingly difficult situation, you need to know that God brings some of these things about so that He can show us that there is a God that makes the impossible possible. Our God does that several times. We saw that in Exodus last week. There was something too very, very important again, that actually when we are talking about the biblical concept of faith, God is looking for ordinary people to do extraordinary things through them. So, if you feel that you are small, you are weak, you are powerless, you are not wise, you are not eloquent, you are not articulate, in fact, you are the one we need. God wants to use the foolish things of this world, the things that are not, the things that are weak, to confound the things that are wise, to confound the things that are strong, to confound the things that are, to confound those things, to prove to them that it doesn't matter, God can save by whichever way. That is what God did through David. David was just a teenager and there was this champion called Goliath. And he came forth thinking that, who is this stupid small boy? But God, through that ordinary teenager, manifested His extraordinary. So, we saw that in Exodus last week. God wants to manifest extraordinary things through ordinary people. So, you don't need to be a Superman to be a man of faith. You don't need to be a giant. You don't need to have all the knowledge. You don't need to have everything. Jesus said if you can have faith as small as a mustard seed. God is using just ordinary people. And we saw something about our sons and about our daughters. The Bible says a daughter of Levi, a man of Levi took a daughter of Levi. We saw that God wants to use our sons and our daughters. And we prayed a prayer last week that may our children, may our seed, may our climax be the foundation of our sons and daughters. And that was the prayer we prayed last week, and I believe that that prayer will go with our sons and our daughters. May our own climax be their own foundation. God wants to do mighty things through our sons, through our daughters. So, young man, young woman out there listening to me, God wants to manifest extraordinary things through you. And then one thing we also saw last week is that you will be wondering that there was Aaron, there was Miriam, and then there was Moses. There was Miriam, then Aaron, then Moses. It was when they made a decree that every male child should be thrown into the sea, that was when Moses was born. And we were saying that ordinarily you will be wishing that why was it not Miriam that came last so that there won't be a problem. And we made a closing remark last week that please, be on your guard. That period you came is the birth period for you to come. And I said, are you in Nigeria now? That it looks as if the economy is collapsing. That is the best time for you to be born in Nigeria. Are you graduating when they said henceforth, graduates will no more stay in Nigeria? That is the best time for you to become a graduate. I am trying to make you see that whatever decree is coming at the time of your existence, it is because you are the one that can cope with it. That is why God brought you at that time. So, don't begin to complain about the happenings around your time. Moses was born when it was the time of him that we need. That time that you are born, it is the type of you that we need. So, don't regret, don't complain about the circumstances around you. Did you get married when suddenly there is a decree that if you are married, you cannot come to US again, you can only go to UK, and you are planning to go to US? That is the best time for you to marry. What I am trying to make you see is that the biblical concept of faith makes us to know that the circumstances that surround a child of God is the opportunity for his greatness. Whatsoever is surrounding you today is for your greatness. Don't begin to regret. Don't begin to have a pessimistic approach to life. Be strong, be bold, be courageous. Let your faith be living. Let your faith be living. Don't operate a dead faith. Operate the biblical concept of faith. It's a living faith of a living God. Our God is alive, and He is there to express through His people the wonders of His person. His extraordinary will be manifested through His people. They may be looking ordinary, but extraordinary things will be manifested through them. And I pray you will be part of that testimony in the name of Jesus Christ. Today we are marching on. I just wanted to give a review for some of the things that we have done so far. Please, if you were not part of last week's meeting, please quickly, quickly get and listen to that message. It's something for you. Now we are looking at that Exodus. Exodus chapter 2. We saw so, we stopped at verse 2. We stopped at verse 2 where the Bible says, "So the woman conceived and bore a son. And when she saw that he was a beautiful child, she hid him three months." (Exodus 2:2) Now that was the period when Moses was born. He was born at a time when a male child should not be born. But that was the best time for Moses to be born. He's the messenger for that hour. I am the messenger sent for that situation in which I find myself. Now, in the verse 3, the Bible says when she could no longer hide him, she took an ark of bulrushes for him. The ark of bulrushes, the bulrushes, she made something, bringing a plant together to make something like what looked like a basket. She made that. And when she made that, what happened? She daubed it with asphalt. Asphalt, you know normal asphalt we use to do road, what you may call *kota*. That *kota*, that is to make the thing to be what water cannot penetrate. You know she is intending to place it on the river, so it has to be a basket, something like a basket that water cannot penetrate. So, she had to put something like *kota*. She daubed it with it, that is, coated it with it. Put the child in it and laid it in the river by the riverside. By the riverside. And then his sister stood afar to know what would happen to him. We are looking at the action, the action of Jochebed, the mother of Moses, the action of the parents of Moses. Please, brethren, I want you to look at what the Bible is calling faith. Because by the time we get to Hebrews 11, that we will ultimately come to later, later, later—we are coming there—where it talked about the heroes of faith. Know the Bible made reference to this story in Hebrews 11. That Moses' mother when they gave birth to him, by faith they did what they did. So, we are trying to look at what the Bible is calling faith. Now, look at what the Bible is calling faith. A mother gave birth to a child at a time when there was a decree that every male child should die. But the mother saw that there was something peculiar about this child. This child is not a child that will die. What I am trying to make you see, brethren, what I am trying to make you see, is that there is something about faith that has to do with insight. There is something about faith that has to do with insight, ability to see, to see the invisible. This is what we call the eye of faith. It is not the biological eye. No, no, that's not what I am referring to. Please, it is actually the eye of understanding. Please, let me quickly make reference to that so that I don't leave that matter. Because it's a very, very strong matter. It's a very, very strong matter. And I want to pray for you. Everywhere your eyes of faith is not seeing correctly, may the Lord bring clarity to your eyes of faith in the name of Jesus. There is something about faith that we call the eyes of faith. It's not the biological eye. No, no, that's not what I am referring to. Please, quickly look at the book of Ephesians. The book of Ephesians. I want to quickly make reference to that. I told you that this topic is not a topic we are going to rush. Because the Bible says without faith it is impossible to please God (Hebrews 11:6). And let me make you see why so many people cannot please God today. Why so many people don't even, you can't call them people of faith. For example, look at what James said about believers are not vain talkers. You find people who call themselves believers, you cannot take them for their words. When they say they are coming, you have to think twice, I may never see this brother, I may never see this sister. When they say, look, I take you as my wife, you may just be surprised when things begin to change somehow, they abandon that one to quickly marry another one. People don't know what faith is. People don't know what faith is. Somebody tells the employer, somebody told the employer, "I will not leave except by one month's notice." And then the person got a job of 700 million somewhere. And because of that, he threw away his word because he wanted to pick 700 million. When the Bible says that a good name is to be desired more than silver and gold (Proverbs 22:1). We don't know what faith is. That's why you see people call themselves Christians today. Christians, but no integrity. You can't take them for their words. And then they are busy, they are busy speaking in tongues, *emokokobakatakata*. May God deliver our generation from faithlessness and confusion. We need to look at what faith is and live its life because it is by faith that we can obtain good reports. I am speaking about the eyes of faith. There is something about faith that we call the eyes of faith. And I want to quickly make you see that in Ephesians. Ephesians chapter 1. Ephesians chapter 1. Let's see something about the eyes of faith. Because the eyes of faith is actually the eyes of, it is only the ability to see the invisible and gain understanding. So, the eyes of faith is also the eyes of understanding. You begin to see something and you are understanding something. If you don't have it, it is something we must pray for. It is something you must beg God for. Let's see the Bible. Let's see the Bible, please. Let's see the Bible. Ephesians chapter 1 from verse 15. Ephesians 1 from verse 15. It said, "Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith..." Please note that. He heard of their faith, that they came into the faith. So, becoming a believer is actually coming into faith. Our whole life is faith. Everything about us is faith. I want you to understand that. It said, "Wherefore I also, after I heard about your faith..." So, your salvation is actually faith. The redeemed are actually what they came into is that they came into faith. It is the way of faith, it is the life of faith. That is what we came into. So, salvation, that thing you call eternal life, that life is actually faith. Now, he said, "After I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and your love for all the saints..." (Ephesians 1:15). We have already discussed this in James, that actually biblical concept of faith is allegiance to God and allegiance to the people of God. If you love God but hate His people, if you love God but hate your brother, if you love God but hate your wife, if you love God but hate your husband, if you love God but, it is you don't know God. You don't know what Christian faith is. So, faith working by love (Galatians 5:6). We have discussed that before. That's not where I am going. He said, "Wherefore I also, after I heard of your faith in the Lord Jesus, and love unto all the saints, cease not to give thanks for you..." (Ephesians 1:15-16). The Apostle was thanking God for that thing that happened to them. There was allegiance to God and allegiance to the people of God. So, Apostle Paul was giving thanks. He was giving thanks. "Making mention of you in my prayers." (Ephesians 1:16). He was mentioning them in his prayers. He was talking about a ceaseless act of prayer, praying for these people that came into the faith. Now, what are the issues, what are the items in that prayer? "That the God, the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give unto you the spirit of wisdom and the spirit of revelation in the knowledge of Him." (Ephesians 1:17). That's not where I am going. That's two items in the prayer. If anybody come into the faith, we must begin to beg God ceaselessly for the spirit of wisdom and for the spirit of revelation so that the Bible don't become a book for CRK. The knowledge of the Bible is not necessarily the knowledge of God. It is the spirit of revelation that change the Bible from Bible, from CRK, Christian Religious Knowledge, to the knowledge of God. So, you can encounter the God of the Bible, not just Bible knowledge. Now, it talked about that. Now look at verse 18, that's where I am going. Apart from the spirit of wisdom and the spirit of revelation in the knowledge of God, what's the next thing? "The eyes of your understanding being enlightened..." (Ephesians 1:18). Let me take another translation. "I pray that your heart will be flooded with light so that you can understand." NIV: "I pray also that the eyes of your heart may be enlightened..." So, there is a heart, the heart of faith. Please don't forget something, that in coming into the faith is about the heart. Romans chapter 10, it said, "Do not say, do not say in your heart, who will go to the heaven to bring down Jesus? Or go to the hell to make Him come back from the dead?" It said, "But the word of faith, which we speak, is near you, it's in your mouth, that if you confess with your mouth and you believe with your heart that God raised Jesus from the dead you will be saved." (Romans 10:6-9). So, faith is in the heart. Now, I am talking about the eyes of faith. It's also the eyes of the heart. When the heart receive faith, that faith has eyes. So, the eyes of the heart or the eyes of faith, that eye must be open. That eye must be enlightened. Everywhere there is blindness, I pray for openness of eyes in the name of Jesus. That eye must open. It is with that eye when they said they saw that the child, it's not the biological eye. It's not that they just look at the child, "this child is fine, oh." That is not what the Bible is talking about. The Bible is talking about something deeper. There is this eye of the eye, this eye of faith. When God want to begin something in your life, when God want to start something, you begin to see it. Because you can never what you cannot see can never be yours. Let me take that again. What you cannot see can never be yours. You must first be able to see it. It is this principle that God was telling Elijah, that Elijah was telling Elisha, that "if you see when I am taken away, then you will have it." (2 Kings 2:10). If you see, you must there is this eye, you must see. The place of seeing, the eyes of faith. So, when the Bible say the mother and the father of Moses, they saw that the child was a beautiful child, don't be thinking of they just saw one fine child, "this child is fine, oh, look at his head, oh, he's so beautiful." That's not what the Bible talking about, please. The Bible's talk of something deeper. They were seeing purpose. They were seeing that this is an unusual child. This child is not like any other male child that has been born in recent time that should be thrown into the sea. There is something peculiar about this child. and they began to pray to the Lord, "Baba, Baba, what is it that You want us to do? What are You trying to make us do? What are You trying to make us do? Lord, this child, this child, what are You saying? This You are telling us that there is something about this child." So, the first step is about the child. "What step are we to take?" Oh, may be able to see and not be blind. Because let me tell you, that is how you will see opportunities. Yes, that is how you will see opportunities. That is how you will see what God want you to step into. I am talking about everything about your life, spiritually, maritally, financially, career-wise. Are you understanding me? Are you understanding me? In every area of your life. For these people, it was about their children. If they had not seen beyond the natural, they would have submitted that boy to be killed. Oh, may you not destroy your generation with your own hand. Because if you cannot see, many parents today have wasted their children. Many parents have wasted their daughters, they have wasted their sons. Because of some circumstance in the land. "They, there's a decree, there's a decree, every male child must die. Hey, I don't want my life to be in danger. I don't want anybody to kill me." Because of some circumstance of fear, some circumstance around their life, many parents have wasted their children. Many parents have wasted the future, they have wasted their daughters, they have wasted their sons. Some people say, "as because of what we must eat, because of what we must eat, I don't want it to happen that we cannot pay the bills. They, the Nigeria, how do we survive?" And for that reason, you see father, mother go out to look for money. Nobody pay attention to teach the child in the way the child should go. And suddenly a monster came out of a child. They begin to say today you don't understand, this is a bad child, this is a bad... You forgot that because you never saw what God wanted you to see. You became afraid of some circumstance. You became afraid of the future. You became afraid of what could happen and as a result, you could not do what You were supposed to do. There was a decree: all male child must die. And of course, if you don't bring your male child, you will face the anger of the king. That decree was in the land. But they were able to see something beyond what other parents could see. Other parents were submitting their children to be killed but they said, "No, we are not submitting this boy. We have seen God's purpose. This child will break this decree. This child will be a deliverer. This child is coming to rescue the nation." They saw that it doesn't matter what the king is saying, this child can never die. I am telling you, it is those who know their God that will be strong. It is those who know their God that will be strong. There are several decrees today. There are several situations today. There are several policies of government. Policy upon policy upon policy upon policy. Policies that are draconian. Policies that are destroying, that are wasting Nigerians. Policies that are wasting people. Policies that will not allow some simple people to feed their children. Different policies. Policies that have made livelihood become so difficult. Look at how some people died in stampede because they were looking for what to eat. Generations were wasted. I am talking about ability to see. Faith has eyes. You must beg God for the eyes of your faith to be open. Because it is one thing that God will use. The eyes of faith. The eyes of faith. That eyes of faith is also eyes of understanding. That's another way to express it, that is ability to to have insight into something. You just understand, no, in this situation, this is height for me to go. And people begin to say this thing cannot work. Don't you see the decree? Don't you see the circumstance? You say no, no. You receive an understanding and you are taking a step. You begin to take step. You begin to take step. And it looks like what are you doing? You look like ah, what are you doing? You say no, what I am seeing, what I am seeing. Oh, may you see what God wants you to see. May you see as God sees. May you see what God is seeing. The eyes of faith. The eyes of faith. They saw. And when they saw, they took steps because they were able to see. They took step. What was the step? They took the they did something like a a basket for him, something like a basket. They took they daubed it with asphalt so that it will not be leaking. They make it leakproof. They put everything. They now went and placed it in the river. They went and placed it by the river. It was at the river and then Miriam was to be watching. I am trying to make you see what the Bible calls faith. These are the heroes of faith. Now, brethren, please look closely at what is going on here. Does it make sense? What they did here? After they could no more hide the child, they now went to place the child by the bank of the river. and then you told the sister to be watching what will happen to the child. Where is that leading to? That's my question. What's going to happen to the child? The Nile is full of crocodiles. What's going to happen to it? What I am trying to make you see is that the step that they were taking, does it make sense? Was there any sense in what they were doing? If you look at what they did, please, what is the sense that is in that thing? You could no more hide the child. You now went to place the child by the bank of a river. and then you told the sister to be watching what will happen to the child. What's going to happen to it? That's my question. What's going to happen to it? But I am trying to make you see what faith is. That first step they took did not look something reasonable. "Go and hide the child." Of course, hiding the child is a way of it looks it makes sense. But the next one that they were to take, there was literally no sense in it. There was literally no sense. There was no sense. Take the baby, place the baby by the river. Let the sister be watching. There was no sense in it. They were not thinking that Pharaoh's daughter will be the one to see the child. Look, don't think that they see all of that from the beginning. They didn't see all of that. They didn't see all of that at all. They didn't see all of that. The only thing they saw was the step they were asked to take. The step that they were asked to take. "Place the baby by the river bank. Let the sister be watching." That was where they know it to. What will follow, they don't know. What will follow that thing, they don't know. What they know is do this. What will follow, how it will go, they could not tell. What I am trying to make you see is that actually this thing that we are calling faith, I am trying to make you see is that it is God that eventually bring the sensibility in the senselessness of faith. Let me take that again. The sensibility that is in the senselessness. You see, faith sometimes can be senseless. "This thing is not making sense." "Ah, why? How does it for?" "You see, what I want to do next now is that I will place the I will take a basket, I will make it to be waterproof, I will place it on the river, just by the river there. The sister will be watching it." Then they will ask you, "So what will now happen?" What will be your answer? Please, what would be the answer of Jochebed the mother of Moses? Her answer would be, "I don't know." "A-ah! What do you mean the answer?" The answer would be, "I don't know." "All I just know is that I am seeing that this is the next thing I should do." But what, how it will connect, that I cannot immediately tell. But what is making sense to me now is that I should place this child by the river and ask the sister to watch. When they ask her, "what is then the sensibility in this your sense?" You only say it is senseless. What I am trying to make you see is that it is actually God. God, the senselessness of faith, the sensibility in it comes from God. When God is making us to act in faith, sometimes we will look senseless. We will look very senseless. Because people will not see how it will connect. "Ah, even you, if they ask you, how will it connect?" Even you, you will not be able to say how it will connect. All that these parents knew was place the boy by the river, let the sister be watching. Please, everything that followed, who has it all in His hand? Who has it all in His hand? I pray for you, may you see the hand of God. May you see. May you see the hand of God. May you experience the hand of God. May you witness the hand of God. May you be a reference by men that this is the hand of God in the name of Jesus. When faith becomes living, men will see the hand of God in your matter. That's what I am trying to make you see. When faith becomes living, people will see the hand of God in your matter. It is when faith is dead that everything about your life can be explained. Oh, it is when faith is dead that everything about your life can be explained. When faith is living, hey, brethren, brethren, when faith, when what you have is a relationship with a living God, this God who is interest in the miraculous, this God who makes the impossible possible, this God that wants to show His power and display Himself in His people—for that is what I am going to do, that is what I am going to open up with you next week. Look, I want you to understand. When you walk is with this living God and faith becomes a living thing, faith is not dead, faith is alive. I am telling you, there are issues about your life that will not have explanation. It is God that will now take action, that will bring the sensibility into the senselessness. The hand of God. Men will say *owo Olorun leleyi*. Ah! It is only *a-ah!* Yes, God want them to know that there is a living God. He wants them to know you are serving a living God. He wants them to know. He wants them to see. He want to be displayed in your life. Biblical concept of faith makes us to see that only the eyes of faith is open. When the eyes of faith is open, you begin to see as God sees. You begin to take step that ordinarily, when you look at the step from the point of where they are taking it, it will be completely senseless. That is why the Bible say the vision will speak, it will speak at the end. Have you seen that Scripture before? It said, "it will speak, the vision will speak, but not now. It will speak at the end." It will speak eventually. By the time God brings the sensibility into the senselessness, people say, "Ah! You are lucky, oh!" Brother, it is not luck. It is not luck. It is not luck. Jochebed was not lucky. It is not a matter of luck. It is a matter of faith. And that is why you must beg God. God, the eyes of my faith must be open. That eyes must be sharp. The eyes of my faith must be open. That eyes, they must be sharp, they must be sharp to be able to take the step of faith. Except your eyes of faith is open, you cannot take step of faith. And you cannot take step of faith, then you cannot experience the hand of God. Any life that cannot experience the hand of God is practicing a dead faith. But you are serving a living God, brother. You are serving a living God, a God that want to open your eye so that you can begin to enter at the beginning point into senselessness and your God begin to make your senselessness become sensible. That is what we call the hand of God. That is what we call the power of faith. That is what we call the power of God. That is what we call the miraculous. That is what we call the visitation of God. *Owo Olorun lo n sise agbara.* The hand of God that wrought miracles. There is the hand of God that wrought miracles. There is the hand of God that wrought miracles. There is the hand of God that wrought miracles. I want you to beg God. God, I will not waste opportunities. I will not waste opportunities. My eyes of faith will pick what God is saying. My eyes of faith will see it. It will see as God sees. I will not miss opportunities. I will not waste them. I will not miss them. I will not waste them. I will not be coerced by some decree. There was a decree, by some circumstance that say look, you cannot look at this, that, there is this law, there is this, you cannot. Oh Lord, help me not to be limited. Help me not to limit You. Help me not to limit You. Help me to see, to see, to see. A lot of things are limiting us today. God, help me to go beyond my limitation. Lord, take me beyond my limitation. Everything limiting me, Lord, I break through my limitation. Academically, I break through my limitation. Career-wise, I break through my limitation. In my children, I pray through my limitation. In my marriage, I pray through my limitation. In my home, I pray through my limitation. In my finance, I break through my limitation. I break through, I break through, I break through my limitation. I begin to see. There was a limitation, but the eyes of faith, the eyes of faith, made a mother, made a mother not to waste her future. There was a future, there was a crisis, but there was a future. The eyes of faith did the work. The eyes of faith. I am talking about biblical concept of faith. Biblical concept of faith. What the Bible call faith. That faith of the Bible has eyes and we must not be blind. We must be able to see. When God was speaking to Joshua, He said, "Joshua, see, I have given you Jericho." (Joshua 6:2). Joshua, see, I've given you Jericho. He must see it before he can get it. Look at Abraham. God told him, "Oya, Abraham, look to the north, look to the east, look to the west, look to this way, look that way." (Genesis 13:14). He wanted him to see. God was opening his eyes of faith. "I want you to pray. Baba, all the north I am to look to, all the south I am to look to, all the east I am to look to, all the west I am to look to, all, then all of these they are yours." God told Abraham, "Lift up your eyes, look." (Genesis 13:14). Oh God, that north I am to look into, that south I am to look into, that east I am to look into, that west I am to look into, all, then all of these they are yours. Oh Baba, help me to see what is mine. Help me to see what is mine. Help me to see what is mine. It is You, the Bible say, it is God that works in us both to will and to do of His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13). It is God, it is God. God work through that eye. Ask God to open that eye that you may see. The eyes of faith. The eyes of faith. The eyes of faith. The eyes of faith. They saw. And when they saw, they took step. Because they were able to see. They took step. What was the step? The eyes of faith made a mother, made a mother not to waste her future. There was a future, there was a crisis, but there was a future. The eyes of faith did the work. The eyes of faith. I am talking about biblical concept of faith. Biblical concept of faith. What the Bible call faith. That the faith of the Bible has eyes and we must not be blind. We must be able to see as God sees. We begin to take steps that ordinary, when you look at the step from the point of where they are taking it, it will be completely senseless. That is why the Bible say the vision will speak. It will speak at the end. Have you seen that Scripture before? It said, it will speak, the vision will speak, but not now. It will speak at the end. It will speak eventually. By the time God bring the sensibility into the senselessness, people say, "Ah! You are lucky, oh!" Brother, it is not luck. It is not luck. It is not luck. Jochebed was not lucky. It is not a matter of luck. It is a matter of faith. And that is why you must beg God. God, the eyes of my faith must be open. That eyes, they must be sharp. The eyes of my faith must be open. That eyes, they must be sharp, they must be sharp to be able to take the step of faith. Except your eyes of faith is open, you cannot take step of faith. And you cannot take step of faith, then you cannot experience the hand of God. Any life that cannot experience the hand of God is practicing a dead faith. But you are serving a living God, brother. You are serving a living God, a God that want to open your eye so that you can begin to enter at the beginning point into senselessness and your God begin to make your senselessness become sensible. That is what we call the hand of God. That is what we call the power of faith. That is what we call the power of God. That is what we call the miraculous. That is what we call the visitation of God. *Owo Olorun lo n sise agbara.* The hand of God that wrought miracles. There is the hand of God that wrought miracles. To You be glory and praise, our Father. We bless Your holy name for all who You are. Lord, as we go tonight, I just pray, Lord, for Your children listening to me as we are looking at this matter: Biblical Concept of Faith. Oh God, may the faith of Your people become living. May it be a living faith, a faith that is alive, a faith demonstrated in a living God, where there is a God that is living whose hand manifest in the life of His people in the name of Jesus. I pray, where the eyes of faith, where the eyes of faith is blind, where the eyes of faith is not sharp, where it is not seeing correctly, where it is not seeing properly, where it has been obstructed, where it has been covered, where oh God, it is seen partially, I am praying tonight, I am praying tonight, by the working of Your Spirit, by the working of Your Spirit, oh Lord, may the eyes of understanding be open. May the eyes of heart be open. May the eyes of faith be open in the name of Jesus. And God, I begin to pray for Your children everywhere, everywhere, they need to begin to step into Your senselessness, so into the senselessness of faith so that the sensibility of Your hand can come into it.
