[Speaker 1]
Church fellowships cannot be more spiritual than the individuals and families that constitute them. God will indeed build a godly home. These are words of restoration and instruction in righteousness from Family Tent Ministry. May you be blessed as you listen.
[Speaker 2]
Praise the Lord. Praise ye the Lord.
We are gathered together unto Thee, unto the Lord. We are gathered together unto Thee, unto the Lord. Unto the Lord shall the gathering of His people be. We are gathered together unto Thee.
Unto the Lord. We are gathered together unto Thee, unto the Lord. We are gathered together unto Thee, unto the Lord. Unto the Lord shall the gathering of His people be. We are gathered together unto Thee.
Our Father, we are gathering together again unto Thee this evening. Our God, we praise You, we bless You, we give You honor, we give You glory, we give You adoration. We say, Lord, Abba Father, thank You for Your mercies, thank You for Your love, thank You for Your goodness, thank You for Your grace. Thank You for all who You are and all that You are to us. Everlasting Father, we are really, really grateful. Accept our thanks in the name of Jesus Christ.
Our Lord, as we gather again unto You this evening, Lord, we are praying that Your Spirit will work within us, Your Spirit will work among us. As we all connect together, our brethren who are connecting with us from different locations, connecting with us on Mixlr, connecting with us on Telegram, our God, we pray. And we who are physically here, Lord, we pray that You will meet with each and every one of us individually. You will also meet with us collectively in the name of Jesus Christ.
Mighty God, our eyes on You. Lord, we pray, instruct us in a way that it will be clear for us how You want us, oh Lord, to journey with our lives. Let our interaction, our fellowship this evening, let it have personal application. Let us begin to see how it personally applies to our individual lives in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank You, Eternal Father. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Of course, as we normally do every last Monday of the month, we try to take a little ample time for us to be able to pray. We will open up as usual to continue the matter from where we left it last week. Then when it is about 6:00 PM thereabouts, or about 6:00 PM, we will take time to pray over and over for our lives as regards some of these things that we have been listening to all the while. Today we are taking the Episode 7 of "Biblical Concept of Faith," Episode 7.
And we quickly go to where we left the matter last week. We are still looking at Exodus and I raised a very vital matter last week that an important principle of God that we must understand about biblical concept of faith is that God is a faith God. He is a faith God. That is, He is a God whose ways are the ways of faith. So He is a faith God. Its way, the way of God is a way of faith. That is why we say the Christian life is the way of faith. So the way of God, the way of the Father, the way of the Son, the way of the Spirit, that way, when you say Jesus is the way, that way that you are saying Jesus is that way, that way is a way of faith. That way is actually faith.
And the matter that I raised last week about biblical concept of faith is that you need to realize that an important principle about God is that God seeks to be glorified in the life of His people. You see, God, it is something that God seeks. God wants, it is something God desire. I want you to understand that as a principle of God. You see, God, as a matter of principle, works in such a way that He will be glorified in the life of His people. So if you are a child of God, because that was the statement I made last week, and I said I am going to build around that today, if you are a child of God, you must understand something about your Father.
Your Father works in a way that He brings impossible situations around your life. He brings situations that ordinarily one will wonder how you will journey through it. But He will now show up in the midst of that situation so that His name, people can say, "Wow, God is great." That is what I am trying to say. It is a principle of God. It is a way God works.
And when you look at the book that we are considering, Exodus, I want us to look at something that happened in Exodus chapter 14. We will compare it with something in the book of First Corinthians. We will compare something there with it. And then possibly we will take one or two verses in the book of Hebrews. I pray we are able to do all of this and then we still be able to pray today.
Now let us look at Exodus chapter 14. Do not forget what I just said. We want to see a particular principle in God, which is important for us to understand biblical concept of faith. I said one, God is a faith God. By that, we mean the way God passes through is called faith. It is the way of faith. So if you do not understand the way of faith, that way that is called faith, then you cannot be in the way of God. When we say Jesus is the way, that way is faith. That is what I am saying. That way is faith. And crucial to that way is that God seeks to be glorified in His people.
Now we want to look at the scripture. We want to quickly bring some things together in Exodus chapter 14. Let us see how the matter goes. Let us see how the Israelites responded. Let us see how we can quickly tidy up this matter today before we begin to pray. Now look at how the matter open up in Exodus chapter 14. Look at how the matter opened up. The Bible says:
"Now the Lord spoke to Moses, saying, Speak to the children of Israel that they turn and camp before Pihahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, opposite Baal Zephon; you shall camp by the sea. For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, They are bewildered by the land; the wilderness has closed them in. Then I will harden Pharaoh’s heart, so that he will pursue them; and I will gain honor over Pharaoh." [Exodus 14:1-4]
Now are you seeing something? You are seeing something that is having its origin in God. The whole matter of creating a situation that will make it possible for God was something that had its origin in God. It was something that God Himself deliberately put in place. It was part of His plan. So His plan, the motive about going that way is so that He can gain honor. He wants to gain honor. He wants people to say, "Oh, sing unto the Lord, for He has triumphed gloriously; the horse and His rider has He thrown into the sea." [Exodus 15:1]. God was deliberately looking for that.
I am trying to show you the way of God so that if it looks as if in your life some seemingly impossible mountains, they are mounting up, they are mounting up, they are mounting up, maybe about your marriage, maybe about your health, maybe about your career, maybe about your children, maybe about the works of your hand, maybe about your academics. It looks as if some mountain or a particular mountain, the mountain seems to be getting bigger, it is getting bigger, it is looking like, "What, eh, ah." It is looking like, you know many times it looks like, "Where is God?" It looks like, "Is God with me?"
But I am trying to show you something very crucial about biblical concept of faith. And I am going to tell you why this is so crucial for us, why I am emphasizing this particular principle. Because by the time we get to the New Testament, you will see how the Bible kept making reference to this matter, kept making reference to this matter. Because it is crucial for us, the New Testament saints, this principle. It is this principle that is behind "for we know that all things work together for good." [Romans 8:28]. It is this principle that is behind "in all things give thanks, for this is the will of God concerning you." [1 Thessalonians 5:18]. It is this principle that is behind "rejoice in the Lord always; again I say, rejoice." [Philippians 4:4]. It is this principle that is behind the scripture that says, "be anxious about nothing." [Philippians 4:6].
That is why I said I am trying to gather some things together. I just want to tidy up this matter a little so that we are able to pray this evening. But I am showing you something that you will realize, that the Israelites, the Israelites, the Israelites finding themselves in that situation, for them, it looks like, "Ah, what kind of thing is this? Where is God? Where is God? What kind of situation is this? Why is the matter like this for us?" It is for them that the matter appeared like that. From the side of God, the matter is not like that at all. From the side of God, the matter wasn't like that. From the side of God, God is just there saying, "Today, today glory will be coming to me. Oh, I will be honored over Pharaoh." And God began to plan His honor.
From their side, they were seeing trouble. From the side of God, God is seeing a path to His honor. So what I am trying to make you see first and foremost is that the whole thing that got them into that situation was something that was completely planned by the Lord. It was something that completely came out from God. God said, "And I will gain honor over Pharaoh." That is number one. "Over all his army," that is number two. Why? "That the Egyptians may know that I am the Lord." [Exodus 14:4].
You know what I am trying to make you see? There is no way the lordship of the Lord can be established if a path is not made in a practically impossible situation. Don Moen sang, someone sang, Don Moen sang "God will make a way where there seems to be no way." Honestly, that song is as wonderful as it is. I am not reducing that song in any way by what I want to say next. But I just want to say that we can improve it and say, "God will make a way where it is obvious there is no way." It is not only where it seems. You know if it seems, you might still be calculating that, "Okay, maybe, maybe I can." I mean where it is obvious there is no way.
The way of God is to create a way where it is obvious there is no way. That way by which God creates a way where it is obvious there is no way is what we are calling faith. That is what I am trying to make you understand. That is the biblical concept of faith. God comes, the way God operates, the way of God is to make way where all human sagacity, all human calculation, all human effort concludes there is no way. It is in that kind of situation that God wants to come and make a way. It is a principle of God.
So the way of God is the way of faith. It is the way of faith. It is in that way that one, God gains honor. He gains honor. And number two, it is in that way that the lordship of the Lord is demonstrated, established, and understood. The lordship of the Lord is demonstrated, is established, and understood by the way of faith. Now, so it is a principle of God to create this kind of situation in the life of His children. And that is why I said when you begin to see impossible situations, you begin to look like, "Can my marital life ever progress? Can my ministry ever break out of this? Can my academics ever come out of this? Will my family, will my marriage ever be able to get this thing done? Will my children ever be able to?" When you begin to look at those kind of things and it looks like they are gathering around your life, it looks like the way everything is heading, is heading towards impossibility.
Brethren, brethren, I want you to understand, do not begin to look here and there for the devil. Do not begin to get afraid. Do not begin to look for the enemy that do not want your life to go ahead. Begin to look towards a God that wants to gain honor. Begin to look towards a God that wants to glorify Himself. Begin to look towards a God that want to establish, He want to demonstrate, He want to establish, He want to make His lordship to be understood by His people and by the Egyptians. He said that they may know. And you will realize something. I want to show you something here, something that many times happens to us.
Now when you look at the verse 1 of this text, what did it say? The verse 1 of the text says, "Now the Lord spoke to Moses." So the person God was speaking to was the leader of the group. God was speaking to Moses. So Moses, in a way, when he saw Pharaoh coming, but every other person were surprised. I don't think Moses will be surprised. Because God actually spoke to Moses. So Moses ordinarily should not be surprised. But look at something in that story. Let's see what happened. Let's see how the people responded.
The Bible says in the verse 10, "And when Pharaoh drew near, the children of Israel lifted up their eyes, and behold, the Egyptians marched after them. So they were very afraid." Now, why were they afraid? They were afraid because they could see the enemy marching. They saw the enemy. They saw a situation that was life-threatening. This was a situation that they thought God has settled for them.
You know, it was the Egyptians that were pushing them, "Go, go, go, get out, get out, get out. Please be going, we don't want you in our land again. Go, go, get out." That even when they were collecting things from them, they readily gave it to them. "Please just go, just go, just go." But suddenly, what looks as if God had settled began to raise its ugly head. And it was raising that ugly head in a life-threatening way. I want you to relate this to situations in our lives.
When it looks like God have told you, God have said, God have given, it looks like victory is accomplished. And as you were, you know when they were leaving Egypt, you can imagine the joy, you can imagine the rejoicing. And as they were now marching and marching and marching, they came to a junction thinking what looks like it has been settled, what looks like a finished business was now coming in a more threatening way, in a way that looks like all has ended. So they were very afraid. Many times it is this fear that makes us to get out of the way of God. It is this fear.
Men who understood this kind of thing, that is why I'm showing you, you see, I'm joining scriptures with scriptures as we are making progress. Men who understood this thing, you know what they said? "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." [Psalm 23:1]. And they went on, what did they say again? They said, "Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadows of death, I shall fear no evil." [Psalm 23:4]. They were very afraid. Many times it is this fear that makes us to get out of the way of God.
Men who understood this kind of thing, that is why I'm showing you, you see, I'm joining scriptures with scriptures as we are making progress. Men who understood this thing, you know what they said? Go to Psalm 46 again, verse 1. You will see the same thing. That kind of reading, Psalm 46 verse 1. Men who understood this kind of situation, I'm trying to make you see what they said so that you can begin to understand this matter, the biblical concept of faith, the way of God. You know what they said? Go and check Psalm 46 verse 1. They said, "God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble. Therefore we will not fear, even though the earth be removed, and though the mountains are carried into the sea." [Psalm 46:1-2]. Are you seeing that? Men who understood that what is important is that my shepherd is with me.
But that "the Lord is my shepherd" should not be understood to mean a crisis-free journey. No, that's a big mistake. Because if the journey is crisis-free, you know what would have happened? What would have happened is that there will be no way to go forward again because the way of God is the way of faith. That way of faith is the way that God introduced where it is obvious there is no way. Where it is obvious there is a way, faith can never be appreciated. So the way of God can never be appreciated. We cannot know His way. His own way is to make a highway on the sea, His path in the wide waves. So it is where obviously there is no way, that is where God had a way.
And that is why it is crucial for us to understand biblical concept of faith. That when we say faith, what the Bible is saying, is saying the way of God. Faith is the way of God. Jesus is the way, that is Jesus is faith. That is why the Bible says He is the author and the finisher of your faith. That thing He's doing in your life is faith. That way you are going is faith. The way of God is faith. That is what the Bible is doing. And crucial about that way is the matter we are looking at now. That that way is a way where there is no way. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
So brethren, brethren that are listening to me, I want to beg you. Has God led you in a path? And right now, it looks like situations are terrifying. It looks like what is gathering around your heart, around your life is something that will kill a man. "What kind of thing is this?" Relax. What did I say? Relax. Relax. Honor is on the way. Glory is on the way. Greater joy is on the way. You may not understand what I'm trying to say when I say greater joy. Let me explain to you. In leaving Egypt, there was a joy. The joy was that they were delivered from the hands of their enemy. But you know, at the other side of the Red Sea, the joy was that their enemies was delivered into their hand. Oh, hallelujah. Hallelujah.
You know when you are delivered from your enemy, you may still be having fear that you don't know what plans that enemy might be arranging. But when your enemy is delivered into your hand, your victory is complete. So when it looks like you started and you are going and you are going and you are going in that path that God showed you, and as you are going, you are going, suddenly it looks like life-threatening situation, terrifying circumstance, roadblock here and there. You speak with this one, he says, "Look, get out of my office." You speak with that one, he says, "Look, no way here." It looks like everything was just closing against you. It looks like favor is gone. It looks like, "Ah, there is no mercy." It looks like, "Brother, sister," it's okay. You are on your path to greater joy. You are on your way to greater joy. You are on your way to greater rejoicing. You are on your way to greater honor. You are on your way. That is the way of faith. That is the way of faith.
I prophesy concerning your life. You will get into all that God have designed for you in 2024. You will get into all that God have in stock for you. You are getting there, not by power, not by might, but by the Spirit of God in the name of Jesus. You are getting there. But please start understanding the principle. Start understanding the principle. They were very afraid.
What is the principle of faith? Laugh at your fears. Laugh at your fears. Laugh at your fears. When I walk through the value of the shadow of death, I shall fear no evil. Laugh at your fears. Laugh at those things that are trying to intimidate you. Laugh at them. That was what God was expecting from them. The expectation was since He took us out, He knows what He is doing. Are you hearing me? Since He took us out, God knows what He is doing. I may not understand, but I know that all things will work together for my good. I may not understand why Pharaoh have to come in a more threatening way, in a more terrifying way. I may not understand what looks like God have settled for me seems to be unsettled again. I may not be able to put it together, but I know that it is working for my good. That is the way of faith. The Bible did not say all good things work together for good. What did the Bible say? All things work together for good.
They were very afraid. I want to beg you. Is there something making you afraid today? Is there something giving you some kind of fear? Some kind of terrifying fear? And that fear seems to be overtaking you. I pray for you, may courage rise with danger. May courage rise with danger. May courage rise in the face of danger. May courage rise in the face of danger. May fear give way for faith. May fear give way for faith. May fear give way for faith in the name of Jesus. May fear give way for faith.
They were so afraid. I don't know what is making you to fear today about your career, about your future, about your health, about your life, about your marriage, about your academics. I don't know what it is about your ministry, about your purpose. You are just afraid. "But it looks like God told you. But I heard God told me that. But I spoke, He spoke, He spoke. It was God who spoke to me. I don't understand, I don't understand." And that fear is rising. I speak to that your fear. Faith be! In the name of Jesus.
Jesus spoke to the disciples. He said, "Why do you fear, O ye of little faith?" [Matthew 8:26]. I pray that as you are hearing this message, the Bible says faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. May your faith arise. May your faith become living. May your faith become living. Everything that died about your faith, everything that died about your faith, may they experience resurrection, resurrection, resurrection, resurrection, resurrection, resurrection, resurrection in the name of Jesus. By the Holy Spirit, may that which died come alive. May that which died come alive. May the word of God bring your faith alive. In the name of Jesus.
Do not be afraid. Do not be afraid. Get off your fear. Make up your mind today. "I am getting out of my fear." I'm getting out of it. I'm getting out of it. They were very afraid. And the children of Israel cried out to the Lord. Now, listen. Listen. They were afraid. They cried out to the Lord. Now, look at something that will make you understand this kind of cry. That will make you understand this kind of cry. Because the Bible says you ask but you do not receive because your motive is wrong. How will you understand this kind of cry? It says, then they said to Moses, "Because there was no graves in Egypt, have you taken us away to die in the wilderness? Why have you so dealt with us, to bring us up out of Egypt? Is this not the word that we told you in Egypt, saying, Let us alone that we may serve the Egyptians? It would have been better for us to serve the Egyptians than we should die in the wilderness." [Exodus 14:11-12]
So do you understand the kind of cry now? What was the kind of cry? It was complaining. You see, many times as children of God, we respond to our situation with murmuring. We respond to our situation with complaining. We forget that there is a God who began the journey with us. We begin to speak against leadership. We begin to speak against everybody around. We begin to talk down that person. You will see us talk against that, talk against this, speak evil of that. Then we begin to say all kinds of things about ourselves, about our life. We start stupidly speaking, "Ah, what kind of thing that God done for me like this? What kind of, eh." You see, that is not the kind of cry.
That is why we notice that the Bible says something in Philippians chapter 2. What did it say? It says, "Do all things without murmuring and complaining." [Philippians 2:14]. What I'm trying to make you see is that children of God who give themselves to complain and murmuring, they don't know God. They don't know the way of faith.
That is why we notice that God said, "Be anxious about nothing." But what you should do? It says through prayers, supplication, thanksgiving. [Philippians 4:6]. You see, you are giving thanks. "Baba, thank You for this situation. Hallelujah." Why are you giving thanks? Because you know it is the will of God concerning you. You are saying, "God, I desire this, I desire that." You are, you see, there is a confidence inside that situation. That kind of way you are making request. The request is coming with thanksgiving. And what did the Bible say? The Bible say as you do that, "the peace of God which does what? Which passeth all understanding will keep your heart and soul." [Philippians 4:7]. Please, what does that mean? It means that a peace will be operating in your life that men around you will not even understand why you are peaceful. They will be the one saying that, "Ah, is he not disturbed? Do you not see what is going on? Do you not see the situation? Do you not see Pharaoh coming? Do you not see that coming? Don't you see the Red Sea? Don't you know you will die here?" You will just say, "Oh, you don't understand. You don't understand. It is working for my good." Then they will say you are mad. Oh.
When a believer, when our faith becomes living, somebody said and I quote, he said when the believer begin to see the invisible, begin to comprehend incomprehensible, and begin to hear the inaudible. Hallelujah. Let me take that again. When a believer begin to see the invisible, begin to comprehend incomprehensible, and begin to hear the inaudible. When neighbors start calling him mystical. "Much learning has made him mad," they will say. Or sometimes they will think you have gone out of your mind. But while they amuse themselves with derogation, hoping to belittle you, hoping to insult you, the truth must forever be confessed that he who shares the mysteries of God, those who share the mysteries of God, they are themselves mystics. People who share the mysteries of God, they themselves they are mystics. That is why Jesus said in John 15, "the wind, you don't know where it is coming from, nor do you know where it is going. So is everyone, so is everyone that is born of the Spirit." [John 3:8]. They are mystic.
Look at it in this situation. I'm trying to show you something that many times we fall into the category of the Egyptian, of the Israelite. Many times we are afraid. And because we are afraid, we cannot see God. Out of that fear, out of that panicking, out of that concern, out of that anxiety, we take to murmuring, we take to complaining. But there is another picture I want us to see. The other picture I want us to see is the picture of Moses. I want you to see two things again about Moses.
The Bible says in verse 13, "And Moses said to the people, Do not be afraid." Are you seeing it? There is everything to be afraid of, but Moses said, "Do not be afraid." So where was Moses speaking from? He was speaking from an understanding that he had which the people do not have. So we are looking at another path. I said many times our response, we respond more like the people of Israel. "You don't know, don't be afraid. There is no need for fear."
Now, he says, "Stand still and see the salvation of the Lord, which He will accomplish for you today. For the Egyptians whom you see today, you will see again no more forever." [Exodus 14:13]. So it was a greater victory. He was speaking of that victory because he has heard about that victory. He has seen that victory. He knows what he is saying. What am I trying to make you see is that many times, in the face of death, you see faith speaking life. In the face of fear, you feel faith speaking peace. In the face of, I'm trying to make you see what faith is.
Now he was speaking to the people. But you know the people will not be able to comprehend this. People will not be able to comprehend this because they did not hear what Moses heard. They didn't hear it. It was Moses who heard it. Now, I'm trying to show you something. So Moses spoke to them. Now we move on. The Bible says Moses said again, "The Lord will fight for you, and you shall hold your peace." [Exodus 14:14]. And the Lord said to Moses, "Why do you cry to me?" Let me take another translation. "Then the Lord said to Moses, Why are you crying out to Me? Tell the people to get moving." [Exodus 14:15].
Do you get something in this Moses' response? Do you get something? Moses told the people, he spoke in faith, but he got something wrong. What did he get wrong? He spoke in faith, but he did not act in faith. He spoke. And why didn't he act in faith? Because there was no road to go forward. God said "I will be glorified," but God did not explain exactly how God will be glorified. So of course, there was no forward. There was the sea. So Moses have spoken in faith and that is where all he knows ended. What next? He did not know.
Oh, I'm trying to show you something about way of faith. I'm trying to show you an important thing about the way of faith. Number one is that sometimes even leaders can be confused as to what God is doing. Even leaders who have spoken, "Hey, this is what we will do! In time we are going!" they may not know the next step immediately. They may not know the next step to take. God told Moses, "They will pursue and I will gain honor over Pharaoh. I will gain it over the Egyptians and they will know." But He never told Moses that, "You see, what I am going to do is that I will part the Red Sea, I will do this, I will do that."
Biblical concept of faith makes us to know that the whole everything about God is not usually immediately clear even as God is speaking to us. Oh, I don't know if you're understanding me. Everything about God, what I'm trying to see is that faith can sometimes run you into confusion. Even you who have spoken, "Hey, this is what we will do! In time we are going!" also sometimes you are confused. Do not let that affect you. Do not let that make you to be worried.
What I'm trying to say is that God is so large, God is so big, God is so great. The Almightiness of God, it's impossible for you to comprehend all of God at once. So we comprehend God in bits. That is why I'm trying to make you see that even as a leader, Moses himself did not even know the next thing. So when did he know the next thing? But you know the difference between the cry of Moses and the cry of the people. The cry of Moses was a cry of faith. "God, You have said You will be glorified. You have said it is because You want to gain honor over Pharaoh. God, You have said, You have said, You have said, You have said."
I am showing you the prayer of faith. The prayer of faith is a prayer that is based on that which God has said. The prayer of faith is not the prayer of complain. The prayer of faith, and that is why I tell people, if the word of God don't dwell in you, your prayer life can never be effectual. Your prayer life can never be effectual. That is why Jesus said in John 15, I think that's John 15:10, I'm not too sure of the verse now, but John 15, John 15:10 or John 15:7. He said, "If you abide in Me and My word abide in you, you will ask what you will and it will be done for you." [John 15:7]. For you to be able to ask and ask right, His word must abide in you.
That is where we are closing the meeting for today. We will take this journey from here. But I want to make you see today, we'll take it from here next week. Please note these things that we have brought to the fore today. The way of God is faith. And in that way is that God, that way, mean God way is inside impossibilities. Where it is obvious there is no way, that is when the way of God appear.
So the way of God is faith. That way is the way where God, He gains honor. We know Him. We understand Him. He demonstrate ways. Let's begin to pray this evening. We'll march from there next week. Please I want to beg you, let's stay connected. Let's call, let's involve ourselves to this thing. We must understand this way. We must get it right in the biblical sense of it. Biblical concept of faith. May our faith be living. And that is why we are starting our prayer from. God Almighty, Oh Lord, please, that my faith may be living. Living faith.
Faith is not a dead thing. Faith is the way of God. Faith is the way of God, is the way, the way, the way of God. The way of God is the way of faith. That faith, that is God way. That is why it is living because God is a living God. We are serving a living God, so faith is living. Faith is not dead. Faith is something that grow. We grow in faith. Faith can grow. Faith is alive. Faith can mature. It's something living. Faith is the word of God. Faith is the way of God. Faith is Jesus. That is why we call Him the author of our faith. Our eternal destiny is faith. It's faith. He authors our faith, He's finishing our faith. So what God is finishing in you is also faith. That way is faith. What He authors is faith. What He's finishing is faith. So you must understand this faith. Everything about your life is passing through the impossible. Yes. Yes. Yes. I'm telling you. It's subduing the impossible. That is your life. Your life is subduing the impossible where it's obvious there is no way, subduing it, moving on, conquering sin, conquering the devil, conquering the world, establishing righteousness, taking over kingdom. We'll still get to Hebrews 11. You will see what the heroes did. They subdued kingdom. People got their dead back alive. They stopped the mouth of the lion. They subdued nation. Faith, faith, the way of God, the way of God is dealing with impossible, making path in the impossible. That is faith.
I want you to go ahead to pray. Jesus will be honored, will be honored, must be honored. God must be honored in my life every day. Oh God must be honored. He must be honored, He must be honored. Jesus will be honored in my life every day.
I want you to pray. What is that thing that is making you afraid? Is it your marital life? Is it your career? Is it your job? Is it your marriage? Is it your children? I don't know what it is. What is that thing? Can you say over you, "God will be honored, will be honored, will be honored. God will be honored in my life today." Look at that situation. Look at that thing and begin to tell yourself, "God will be honored, God will be honored, God will be honored. Jesus must be honored in my life today."
Is it about your career? Is something saying you will not go forward? Can you make proclamation? "God will be honored, will be honored, will be honored. Jesus will be honored in my life every day."
Is it about your walk with God? It looks like some besetting thing will not allow you to serve God. It looks like, "Ah, can I ever be honored?" Can you make proclamation today? "God will be honored, God will be honored, God will be honored. Jesus must be honored in my life today."
Is it about your marriage? Is it about your marital future? Is everything looking like, "Ah, oh, am I sure? Is this going to work?" Or is it about childlessness in your marriage? I don't know what it is about. But I'm just saying that God have started with you. And it looks like along the road, "Ah," it looks like everything is getting cloudy. Can you tell yourself? Oh, complain no more. Murmuring no more. I will rejoice in my Lord every day. Oh, complaining no more. Murmuring no more. I will rejoice in my Lord every day. Oh, complaining no more. Murmuring depart from my life. I will rejoice in my Lord every day.
Ah, is it about your children? Oh, complaining no more. Murmuring no more. I will rejoice in my Lord every day. Is it about your wife? Is it about your husband? I don't know what it is about. But can you proclaim today? Complaining no more. Murmuring no more. I will rejoice in my Lord every day. Complaining no more. Murmuring depart from my life. I will rejoice in my Lord every day. I will rejoice in my Lord every day. I will rejoice in my Lord every day. I shall complain no more. Murmuring no more. I will rejoice in my Lord every day.
Talk to the Lord this evening. Talk to the Lord this evening. Are you confused like Moses? That junction where you are, you are confused. God has spoken to a point. He has spoken to a point, but you don't even know the next thing to do. Oh, you know what God said? Why do you cry to Me? Moses cries aright. Moses was talking to God aright. I want to tell you, I want to tell you what's the next step to say. It's to say, "God, God, You said this to me. You said that to me." I don't know what God has told you. "Oh You said this, You said this. Oh God, help me to see the next step to take. Lord, help me to see the next step. What I need from You is the next step to take in this my confusion. Lord, penetrate through that I am confused. God, Your journey originated from You. This challenge originated from You. This thing originated, You already know the way I'm to go. Oh my Father, my Father, my Father, my Father, my Father, my Father, my Father, my Father and my God. Father, the way to go. The way to go. That is the way of faith. That is the way of faith."
Moses, it is not a time to cry. It's just a time to ask. "Oh Baba, what next? Baba, what next? You have said You will be glorified. You have said it is because You want to gain honor over Pharaoh. Baba, what is the next thing now to do? I am confused. What is the next thing now to do? What's the next step? Because you cannot comprehend the all of God at once. You cannot comprehend the all of God at once." Ask the Lord, "Baba, what is the next thing to do? Baba, show me the next thing."
I refuse to be afraid of the Red Sea before me. You are looking at the Red Sea and you are wondering, "Can I ever cross this thing? Can I ever get to the other side?" All you need to do is ask God, "Let me know the next thing to do. Let me know the next thing to do about this Red Sea. We wanted to cross to the other side, but we don't know what to do next. We don't even know what to do next. Oh God, we needed to cross."
And I pray for you wherever you are praying this evening. You shall hear a voice from behind you that will tell you, "This is the way, walk therein." You shall hear a voice from behind you. You shall hear a voice, the voice of faith, the voice of the Lord, the voice of the Lord that will tell you, "This is the way, walk therein. This is the way, walk therein. This is the way, walk therein." Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
I want us to pray wherever you are praying this evening. I want you to pray, pray, pray, pray, pray. There is a burden in our ministry that God will want the message of Family Tent Ministry to go beyond those that are hearing it now. We have a strong burden that God, so many lives need to hear this thing. But somehow, it looks like the message is caged. Can you pray for the message? Can you pray for the ministry? Can you ask the Lord wherever you are and say, "God, God, God, announce Your message." It is the message of God. God, announce Your message. Announce it to men that need to hear. Lord, work around us. Lord, work around the situation of Family Tent. Work around our situation. Let this message get out there. Lord, teach us the next step to take. Lord, tell us how to do it. Lord, raise men. Lord, raise men. Lord, raise people. Lord, do it. Lord, do it for us. Lord, it is not about us. Lord, it is about You. Lord, it is not about us, it is about You.
And before we close this evening, we cannot but pray for our nation. We cannot but pray for Nigeria. Can you pray for Nigeria wherever you are? Yes. The reason why we must pray for Nigeria is that look, it is in the peace of this land that we will have peace. The reality is that since right now we are located in Nigeria, there is a reason why we are located in Nigeria and there is a reason why the four men of this ministry is in Nigeria. There is a reason. God has His purpose. So Nigeria is the Jerusalem of Family Tent. Pray for Nigeria just before we go this evening. Let's say, "Oh Lord, make Your name known to Your adversary in Nigeria. Lord, make Your name known. Like You make Your name to be known to Pharaoh. You make Your name to be known. God, we pray over Nigeria. Make Your name known. Magnify Jesus. Lord, demonstrate Your lordship over Nigeria. Lord, demonstrate Your lordship. Everybody claiming now, Nigeria belong to us. It is in our pocket. We will rule this country. This nation is in our hand. God, everybody bragging and boasting, thinking that they have caged Nigeria, they have caged the destiny of this country. This country is going nowhere. They will determine it, they will run it. It is about them, it is what they decide that can happen. Oh Lord, display Your lordship! Baba, display Your lordship. Display Your lordship. Display Your lordship. Prove Your lordship, Oh God, to the Egyptians. Prove Your lordship to the Egyptians. Prove Your lordship to the Egyptians. Lord, let Pharaoh know that You are God. Gain honor over Pharaoh. Gain honor over the Pharaoh of Nigeria. Gain honor over the Pharaoh of Nigeria. Gain honor over the Pharaoh of Nigeria. Gain honor over the Pharaoh of Nigeria. Gain honor over the Pharaoh of Nigeria. Gain honor over the Pharaoh of Nigeria."
Thank You, Almighty. Thank You, our Father. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Our Father, we thank You for this evening. Our God, we give You glory. Our God, we give You honor. Lord, our God, our eyes on You. Lord, we make a proclamation today in Your presence. Nothing shall prevail against Your purposes for our lives. Nothing shall prevail. Nothing shall prevail. Because the scripture says, by two things in which it is impossible for You to lie, You made a promise and You swore with an oath that Your counsel for our lives can never be altered. Lord, we proclaim in the spirit of faith. We proclaim in the spirit of faith. Nothing, nothing, no demon, no enemy, no circumstance, no situation, no mountain, nothing will prevail against Your purposes for our lives. Rather, Lord, we proclaim over our lives, we go forth conquering and to conquer. We go forth conquering and to conquer. We shall prevail. We shall prevail. We shall prevail. We shall prevail. We shall prevail. We shall prevail.
In the same way, Lord, we proclaim over Family Tent Ministry. Family Tent Ministry shall prevail in the name of Jesus. The same way, Lord, the same way we proclaim over Nigeria. Nigeria, Nigeria, Nigeria, hear the word of the Lord. You shall prevail. You shall prevail. You shall prevail. In you, the kingdom of God come. The will of God be done. Thank You, Father. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Let us celebrate together in fellowship. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us now and forevermore. Amen. Till next week when we meet again, the Lord keep us all in Jesus' name. Amen.
