[Opening Song]
Church is a fellowship that cannot be more spiritual than the individuals and families that constitute them. Build the individuals, build the families. These are words of restoration and instruction in righteousness on Family Tent Ministries. May you be blessed as you listen.
[Speaker 1]
So then, to go ahead and take that rest. Very, very important that they take the rest. Now, look at something. The first thing that comes to us is that why will man not want to rest? Number two, why is death the penalty for not resting? Ordinarily, what should be the penalty when you don't rest? No, ordinarily, if you don't rest, what will happen to you? You will not be refreshed now. You will fall sick. And God should just tell you that if you like, don't rest, oh. By the time you fall sick, you will know. But God said, no, it's a covenant with me. It's a covenant. If you don't keep it, you will die. And do you know that the people of Israel never entered into this rest? They never obeyed this rest. In fact, as at the time God was giving the commandment, when God gave manna, God said that they should gather manna for that day. On the Sabbath day, they should not gather it. Please, you remember what happened to some of the people? Even on that day, they still went. God said whatever you gather on Friday will take you through Saturday and I will bless it. They still went to work. One thing I'm trying to make you see, number one, is this: the instructions of God for our life, they're for our benefit. The instructions of God—you see, when God is giving us instruction, God is speaking for the purpose of our benefit. God is handling a matter for the purpose of our benefit. And it is so important for you to know that when God speaks to us, God is speaking so that we can benefit. That is first thing.
Number two, it is also very, very important for us to know that the matter of rest, when God says don't work, go and rest with God, is not a matter that is your matter. Ordinarily, you will think it is your problem. But it is not a matter that is your matter. It is a matter that matters also to God. That is, when God is offering something for your benefit and you are not taking that thing that God is offering you for your benefit, then you should know that you don't please God. And when you don't please God, you can be sure. Look at what the scripture says about our fathers in the wilderness. 1 Corinthians 10. Look at what the Bible says about them. 1 Corinthians 10. 1 Corinthians 10. Are you there? It said from verse one:
"Moreover, brethren, I do not want you to be unaware that all our fathers were under the cloud, all passed through the sea, all were baptized into Moses in the cloud and in the sea, all ate the same spiritual food, and all drank the same spiritual drink. For they drank of that spiritual Rock that followed them, and that Rock was Christ."
What did the Bible say? Verse five:
"But with most of them, God was not pleased, for their bodies were scattered in the wilderness."
So when we don't please God, what happens to us? What happens to us? For their own, the Bible says their bodies scattered, that is, they died in the wilderness. Let me try to interpret this thing the way it came to me. See, for us, your future will scatter in the wilderness of life. Your ambitions, they will scatter in the wilderness of life. Your home, they will scatter in the wilderness of life. Your health, they will scatter in the wilderness of life. Your marriage, they will scatter in the wilderness of life. Something normally happens when a man don't please God; the man scatters.
So, the point about rest—please, don't forget what we are talking about. It's about the matter of rest. God said they should rest. Rest ordinarily is beneficial to them. However, when they don't rest, it is a matter that does not only matter with them; it matters with them, it's also—does what? It matters with God. It means they don't please God. And because they did not please God, God overthrew them in the wilderness. God scattered them.
Now, in coming to us in an application, look at something I want to call us to. I want to call our attention to two scriptures. But before our attention to these two scriptures, I will first like to sing this hymn. It's a very popular hymn. Just the stanza one of that hymn and then the chorus. I believe we all know the hymn.
[Speaker 1 Singing]
What a friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer!
Oh, what peace we often forfeit,
Oh, what needless pain we bear,
All because we would not carry
Everything to God in prayer!
Look at the wordings. Oh, what peace we often forfeit. Oh, what needless pain we bear. All because we would not carry everything to God in prayer. I want to show us two scriptures. The first one relates to the song we are just singing, and so is the second one. Philippians 4:6 and 7. Philippians 4:6 and 7. What does that scripture say? It's a very familiar, it's a very popular scripture, it's a scripture we read often. It says:
"Be anxious for nothing..."
And I was trying to ask you, please, what is nothing? Please, who can help us to define nothing? Ah, you say nothing is nothing. No, help us to explain nothing. So when God says "Be anxious for nothing," what does that mean? It means be not anxious about anything at all. In the last two, three days, how many things have you been anxious about?
What is it that God offers us? He says be anxious about how many things? Look at the offer. But do you notice that like the children of Israel—because when we were talking about them now, some of you were saying that, "Ah, these people self, how will they go when God has said don't work? But to not work is a very, very good thing now. Is it not beneficial for them?" Please, if God say don't worry about anything, is it not beneficial for us? Oh, brethren, is it not beneficial for us? Is it not a great benefit? Baba says don't worry about anything. Ah! Just be without worry. Please, how wonderful is a life without worry.
But do you notice that we don't enter into this wonderful life? We don't enter. Brethren, we don't enter. Let us check very well, we don't enter. We don't enter into this thing. So you begin to understand why God was saying, why God was saying something, that "I want you to rest." And the rest is not just a matter of if you don't rest, it's your cup of tea. No, the matter is that if you don't rest, you have not pleased me. Let me tell you why they did not please him so that you can get it clear. Let me explain it to you. When God said work for six days of the week, on the seventh one do not work, why will people want to work on the seventh day ordinarily? Why do you want to still go to your shop on the seventh day if you have a shop? I'm just giving an example. No, they too, they were businesspeople. They were farmers, the Israelites. Why will you still want to go to your garden and do work on the seventh day?
You get the point. Why will you want to go, if God says don't read, read only six days, on the seventh day don't read, just go and sleep, rest, go to ShopRite, move around, don't read, come and start working again? Why will you? It is a sign that you don't trust in his ability to provide. It is a sign that you don't trust. You don't trust in his ability to handle it. It is a sign that you don't—and let me tell you one thing. It is also—look at it, oh—it is also a sign that you think that it is because you work, that is why you can eat. You get the point. You don't know that it's possible to also work and work and work and you don't have what to eat. Do you know that? Do you know that if God don't bless the work that you are doing? Look at what the Bible says. It says it is the blessings of God that makes rich. Do you know that you can work and work and work and still be in poverty? You will work throughout all your life and you will still be in poverty.
The point is that when you begin to see individuals—I'm trying to explain something very, very critical to us—the point—there are two things about that Sabbath that I want to bring into the matter of the New Testament so that we will begin to go into a time of prayer. Number one, when God said don't work on the sixth day, on the seventh day, going to work is a sign that, "Ah, what I did for six days will not be enough, oh. Let me work." You understand? It's like having a shop and they said don't go for one day. And you begin to calculate, "Ah, I normally make eighty thousand daily. Eighty thousand for that day will go." You get the point that I'm making. Now, it's a sign that you don't understand that without that eighty thousand, life can be well. Did you get it? You don't understand it.
Number two, it is also a sign that you are thinking that it is because you are working, that is why you are having something to eat. Yes, God said, "He that does not work should not eat." God said again, "A diligent soul will stand before kings, not before mere men." A lazy person will come to poverty. But it is important to also know that no man can receive anything except God gives him. So the point is this: why God asks us to be diligent, God want us to know that except the Lord watches over the city, the watchman lieth awake in vain. It is possible you exercise all diligence and still remain in poverty because God did not bless the work of your hand. You can work and work and work and work and work and work, and yet ends could not meet. So, because ends are meeting, don't begin to trust in your diligence. Don't begin to trust that it is because I am diligent. No. Do you even know that if God take health away from you, can you work? Who give you the health to be able to work?
What of if you have finished working and you gather everything together? What happened to one of my colleagues. He was trying to become a quick millionaire. And he was working towards it from youth service. So all the money he was collecting during youth service, he refused to spend. He was working and—but he was buying shares. He was buying shares. He had bought the shares to a point that in about four years' time, from the calculation of the way that shares was going, he would become a comfortable multimillionaire. At the third year, the third year to that fourth year—I don't know whether you know—that was around 2014, '15, around that—when shares crashed. Everything he worked for from when he left school to that year went down the drain. And by the time I met him four years after, he was still struggling.
I don't know whether you're understanding me. That even what you gather, if God don't allow it to stay, it cannot sustain you. Now, I'm trying to make you understand this matter of the Sabbath. The Sabbath looked like the Sabbath for them. But I'm bringing it to us in the New Testament because in so many things that Baba gave his promises, we have refused to enter into the rest of God. We did not enter. And you see, that's why I'm talking about faith in the living God. Faith in the living God. Faith in the greatness of God. Faith in the ability of God. Faith. Faith to hold to God. Faith to agree with God. Faith. That's what I'm talking about.
So, when you see a man in the old—I'm speaking about them now. When God said, "Look, if you don't rest, I will kill you." It will look like, "Ah, but God, they ought not to die if they don't observe rest. It's their problem." If you suggest that they did not rest, "Ah, let them be working. That's their cup of tea." But no, the point God is making is that it is a sign of the covenant I have with you. You know what God is saying? It's a sign that you have come to understand that it is because I bless you, that is why you have. You have come to understand that it is not because you work, that is why you can eat. You have come to know that yes, I must be diligent. Yes, I must be hardworking. Yes, I must be this. But God, my trust is in you.
But when you refuse to observe that one day in the seven days, it is a sign that you are thinking that it is because you work, that is why you can eat. It is a sign that your belief is not in God. Your belief is in the works of your hand. That is why God said the Sabbath is a sign between me and you when God was speaking to them in the Old Testament.
Now, by the time you come into the New Testament, that's why I'm showing you that we have the same thing in the New Testament. Because actually Jesus is the Sabbath. When you say Sabbath, Sabbath is not a day. In the New Testament, there's nothing like Saturday or Sunday. Every day is alike. Go and check scriptures. But if anybody think any day is special to him, to that person the day is special. That's what the Bible says. If you think a day is special—there are some people every first day of a new year, for them it is only to God. They don't eat, they don't drink. They said no, they are fasting to God. That is their faith. The other person who eat on that day saying, "God, [Yoruba phrase], I entered a new year," is also unto God. I don't know whether you're understanding me. That's the liberty we have in the New Testament. We are not called to be uniform. We are called to be united. It's not uniformity, it's unity. You get the point I'm making?
So the Bible says one man esteem a particular day very special. Another man see every day to be the same thing. But the point I'm trying to bring out is that Jesus is the Sabbath. And I'm trying to show you elements of the Sabbath. That's why I took you to the first one. Philippians chapter 4 verse 6 and 7: "Be anxious for nothing." And I was trying to ask you in the last two, three, four days, the situation of Nigeria, didn't it give you anxiety? The situation of your health, didn't it give you anxiety?
Do you know why it's giving us anxiety? Now look at it in a very simple way. In a very, very simple way. Somebody asked me—let me use Ondo state where we are, where we are more familiar with. Don't let me use Lagos. Somebody, you took a taxi from FUTA. As you entered on your way to Oja, somebody entered and he told the driver, "Ilesha garage." The person sat beside you. As you are going, the person said, "Please, ma, I don't know Ilesha garage." You now tell the person, "Don't worry." What do you mean? What do you mean by "don't worry"? You'll show the person the place. Is that not what you mean?
Now, if the person is inside and the person is still doing [panting sounds], "Driver, please, oh, I don't want to pass Ilesha garage. I don't want to pass Ilesha garage, please. Driver, please. I don't want to pass Ilesha garage." What will happen to you? What would be your attitude? So when God says "Be anxious for nothing," what does that mean? No, what does that mean that God intend to do? That is anything and everything, I will do something about it. Are you understanding it? Anything and everything, I will do something about it. Anything! Oh! Is this our God not wonderful?
I'm showing you the offer of God to us. Baba is saying, "Look, anything, anything, everything, I will do something about it." Because immediately you tell that person, "Madam, don't worry," what you meant is the person will not go beyond Ilesha garage. Immediately you will start, "Driver, driver, [Yoruba phrase]." Is that not the truth? "Driver, please, please, please." That's what you will say. Because you have said "don't worry." Because you know that if the person past Ilesha garage, you have not been true to that person. Immediately you say "don't worry." Do you know that God's faithfulness will have been compromised if God don't do something about everything and anything you bring to him? Oh! Are you understanding me? I'm trying to make you understand God.
Do you know that God's faithfulness would have been compromised? That is, in a way God ceases to be faithful. But the Bible says, even when we are not faithful—why is—who is God? It says he cannot deny himself. That is, God will cease to be God if there is something you bring or anything you bring and God don't do something about it. He has ceased to be God. And I want to ask you, what is it about your life that can constitute what God cannot handle? Do you know how many projects are in the hand of God? Do you know how many lions in the wilderness God is feeding? Do you know how many animals in the forest that God is sustaining? Do you know the number of creatures in the sea that God is upholding? Who is upholding the whole universe? Is it not he? You are now talking about your own. It's like somebody asking a mathematics teacher that, "You know, I don't know whether you'll be able to handle one plus one that is bothering me." And you begin to—he says, "Sir, what of one plus one? Say, ah, I don't know, I don't think you'll be able to handle it." A mathematics teacher! You ask whether he can handle one plus one. Do you even need a math teacher to handle one plus one?
That is why this song says, "If he carries the weight of the world upon his shoulder, he will carry the weight of the world, who carry you." If he carries—do you understand that? What is the project God is handling? After an engineer have successfully completed a 35-story building, you are anxious whether he can help you construct a bungalow. Please. You say, "I don't know. Engineer, are you sure the building will not collapse?" Somebody built a 35-story and it's standing. You are looking at it. Do you know since when God have been sustaining the earth? Despite every commotion, the earth is still standing. God placed the sun in the sky, the moon—everything is still standing. Till today they are still there. Oga tell them not to stand. And then you are carrying your own saying God cannot. Do you know what you are talking about?
[Speaker 1 Singing]
Oh, what peace we often forfeit,
Oh, what needless pain we bear,
All because we would not carry
Everything to God in prayer!
What a friend we have in Jesus,
All our sins and griefs to bear!
What a privilege to carry
Everything to God in prayer!
Oh, what peace we often forfeit,
Oh, what needless pain we bear,
All because we would not carry
Everything to God in prayer!
Brethren, I want you to get this very, very clear. Whenever you tell somebody don't worry, what you meant is that "I will take responsibility for it." You begin to—you begin to make sure because if the person past that place and the person says, "Ah, madam, where are you going?" "Ilesha garage." And he say, "Ah, Ilesha garage? Have I passed the place?" and he says yes, you will be ashamed.
That is why you will take it up. That is why you will stand because you have said don't worry. I'm trying to show you what it means when God says "Be anxious for nothing." God is saying, "I will take it up." God is saying, "It is me that will be ashamed." God is saying, "Don't you—don't you understand how—why are you like this? Are you saying that my faithfulness cannot be guaranteed? Are you saying that I too can be a liar? Are you saying that I cannot be trusted? Is that what you are saying?"
That is why you notice that in the Old Testament, God said if they don't rest on the seventh day, that person should be put to death. It is not just a matter of the day. It's a matter of taking the person and the integrity of God for granted. And I'm showing you how we do it severally today. We're anxious about this, we're anxious about that. When we tell it to God, we don't believe that he can handle it. We don't—we don't believe. After we have told him, we still [panting sounds]. And then God begin to wonder. Don't you know that without faith it's impossible to please God? Don't you know that that journey you are taking, like our fathers, you will soon be scattered in the wilderness of life? The Bible says their body was scattered in the wilderness. What Baba would have helped you gather will become a thing that will scatter.
So as we pray this evening, brethren—as we pray this evening, I've just told you what—what—the background to our prayer. As we pray this evening, first and foremost, I want you to come before the Lord and say, "Lord, help me to realize who you are." That's where we are starting from. You see, the reason why your faith—your faith—your faith is not alive, your faith is not living. Why your faith is a dead faith? Your faith is just dead, it's not living. I'm talking about a living faith. A faith that is living. A faith that is alive. The biblical faith is a living faith. The biblical faith is a real faith. It is that faith that Jesus is saying that, "By the time the son of man comes, will he still find faith?" That was what he was making reference to.
Our second scripture is Luke 18: "Men ought always to pray and not to faint." Then he was giving example of the widow and the unjust judge. And he said, "If—if—if the unjust judge will do something about the widows because the widow kept coming, will God not answer his base speedily? Although there are—there are—there are situations, there are circumstances where he bears long with them. When it looks like, 'Ah, Baba, when are you doing it? When is it coming?' there are situations like that. When is it coming? When is it coming?"
But what I'm just calling your attention to today is that God is saying that, "But when the son of man shall come, will he still find faith?" That is, God is saying, "Do you realize that when I don't do something about anything and about everything you bring to me, I cease," he ceases to be faithful. God ceases to be faithful. But you see, God cannot be faithless. [Yoruba phrase] that will now make God to become faithless. [Yoruba phrase] What is it that you have brought? What is the situation? What is the thing? What exactly have you brought that Baba cannot handle that will now make God to become faithless?
God spoke to Noah that look, never again will I destroy the earth with water. I will put a sign in heaven. Today, even though Noah is not here to still be saying, "God, God, remember, remember, remember," the rainbow still come up. Every time, every time there is this thing, you will see the rainbow. And God put that sign. God did not fail our fathers. God did not fail our fathers. God did not fail our fathers. Can you talk to God this evening? "God, help me to see your greatness. My problem—my problem is that I could not see how great you are. Lord, help me." Look, cry to God, oh. Nobody can help you to see God's greatness. Even me, I cannot help you. I cannot help you. The Bible says Paul plants, Apollos waters. It is God that gives increase. If God don't give increase to your own heart, nothing will happen to you. You will still live here, still can anxiety about every matter. But if God can come to you in his grace—can you say, "God, attend to my heart. God, attend to my vision. God, attend to my vision." Ah! Oh! Holy Ghost, Holy Spirit, open my eyes. Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit, Holy Spirit, come to me. Come to me. Help me to see the person of God. Oh, grant me an encounter. Ah, [Yoruba phrase]. What I've come to realize that the difference between people who look strange, people who hold to God and people who cannot is encounter. It's encounter. It's encounter.
Cry to the Lord. It is God who can encounter you. Me, I will sow, we water. But it is God that gives increase. Pray to God. "Baba, give increase to this word in my life. Let Christ be formed in me. Let Christ be formed. My discipler cannot do this one for me." That is the purpose of prayer. We—the reason why we pray is because nobody can do certain things. It is only God that can do it. Prayer is actually dependence. It's actually saying that, "God, I know he would do it." That's the meaning of prayer. Prayer is coming to rest on God. Prayer is coming to roll on God. Prayer is coming to lean on God. Prayer is coming to say, "God, but you must," say, "God, help me to see you. Lord, help me to see you [Yoruba]. Lord, encounter me. Lord, do something about my heart. Do something. I find it difficult to leave matters after you have said I should be anxious about nothing. I still see myself carrying and carrying and carrying. I see myself unable to rest." Oh, Lord! Ah! Don't allow me leave this meeting empty-handed. Don't allow me go back to my old way. Baba, grant me an encounter. Baba, grant me an encounter. Lord, give me a visitation. Baba, do something that will change my orientation. Baba, do something that will change my attitude. Baba, do something with me. Can you cry to God?
In the course of biblical concept of faith, we have talked about last month. We prayed about the rod of Aaron that budded. Overnight miracle. Where a dead rod, a rod, a walking stick, sprouted. Sprouted! It budded! It blossomed! And then it brought forth ripe almond! Overnight! [Yoruba phrase]. Walking stick. Not a living stick, oh, a dead stick. You can talk to God. Everything that have died in my life. Everything that have died in my life. Everything that have died. Oh, receive, receive the breath of life. Everything that have died inside me, that is not allowing me to hold to God. Receive the breath of life! Receive the breath of life! Everything that is making me to shake. Everything that is making me not to be able to rest on God. [Yoruba phrase]. Receive the breath of God! Receive the breath of God! Receive the breath of God!
Brethren, cry to God! Cry to God! Cry to God! Cry to God! Cry to God! Cry to God! Cry to God! And say, "Look, God, I want to start a work afresh with you." You said I should be anxious about nothing. It is possible. It is possible. I can walk in this revelation. I can walk in this reality. I can walk in this truth. Oh, Lord! I must enter into my Sabbath. I must enter into my Sabbath. [Yoruba phrase]. I want to enter into my Sabbath. Lord, Lord, Lord, you are offering to me a Sabbath. You are offering me the privilege of a Sabbath. The privilege of Sabbath. Lord, [Yoruba phrase]. Oh! Whatsoever have died in me. Whatsoever have died. Whatsoever is dying. Whatsoever is dying. Receive, receive life. Receive life. Receive life. Receive life. Receive life. Receive life. Oh! I call for a revival. I call for a revival. I call for a revival. I call for a revival. I call for a revival. I call for a revival. I call for a revival. I call for a revival. Oh! Cry to God for a revival. Cry to God for something to wake up inside you. Cry to God. Cry to God. [Yoruba phrase]. Faith must arise. Faith! Oh! Ah! Ah! I'm a child of God. I am not a spiritual bastard. [Yoruba phrase]. I am not a spiritual bastard. I am a child of God. Whatsoever—whatsoever—whatsoever is holding me back. Is it blindness of the eyes? Oh, Lord, open my eyes. Is it that my ears—[Yoruba phrase]—God, open my ears. Is it—is it a matter of my heart? My heart not being able to understand. Oh, to understand. Today, today, this last Monday of August. Hey! [Yoruba phrase]. Let there be a revival within me. Let there be a revival within me. Let there be a revival within me. Let there be a revival within me. Let there be a revival within me. Let there be a revival within me. Let there be a revival within me. Let there be a revival. Let there be a revival. Let there be a revival. Let there be a revival. Let there be a revival. Let there be a revival. Let there be a revival. Let there be a revival. Let there be a revival. Let there be a revival. Let there be a revival. Let there be a revival. Let there be a revival. Let there be a revival. Let there be a revival. Let there be a revival. Ah!
Ah! Oh, thank you, Jesus. Oh, thank you, Jesus. Oh, thank you, Jesus. Oh, thank you, Jesus. As we round up today, I told you anytime we come here to pray, we must pray for our nation. It is in the peace of this nation that we will have peace. If there is no peace in this nation, we will not be at peace. I also tell brethren who may not be—who may be outside the country, but you're a Nigerian and you are listening to me: remember, remember home. Pray. Pray. Let us always pray for the peace of this nation. It is in the peace of this nation that we will have peace. [Yoruba phrase]. That is the truth about it. Don't let us say it's the wicked who know. No. God hears our prayer. [Yoruba phrase]. Let's pray for our country. We are still here. This is where God located us. Even when you are in Germany, you are in US, anywhere you are, God knows why you are a Nigerian. He could have made you a Briton, he could have made you an American. But he chooses to make you a Nigerian. Always remember this truth and pray for the peace of this nation.
Let us ask the Lord that God Almighty, Baba, everything that is not giving Nigeria rest, Baba handle them for us. Everything that is not giving this nation rest. Whether they are principalities, whether they are powers, whether they are rulers of darkness or spiritual wickedness. Whether they are human that have—that have given themselves to wickedness. Whatever is not giving this nation rest. Baba, Baba, Baba, let there be your intervention. Let there be your intervention. Baba, come, intervene. Baba, come, intervene. Whatever is not giving our country rest. Whatever, whatever that thing is. Baba, Baba, arise, oh Lord. Arise, oh God, for the sake of the elect. Arise for the sake of your children. Arise, oh Lord. Arise for the sake, oh Lord, of the faithful. Arise for the sake of the oppressed. Arise for the sake of the orphan. Arise for the sake of the fatherless. Arise, oh Lord God Almighty. Arise for the sake of widows that are widows indeed. Arise for the sake of the helpless, oh Lord. Arise for the sake of the powerless, Jehovah. Arise, oh God, oh God, and confront everything that is not giving Nigeria rest. Lord, arise! Lord, arise! Lord, arise! Lord, arise! Lord, arise! Lord, arise! Lord, arise!
Oh, Baba, let it be well with them who fear the Lord. Let those who fear you, oh God, let them be well with them. Let those who fear you, oh God, rejoice in the land. Let those who fear you, let them rejoice in the land. Oh, Lord, let the head of the—of the upright be lifted up. Let the head of the godly be lifted up. For you are the glory and the lifter of our head. You are the glory and the lifter of our head. You are the glory and the lifter of our head. You are the glory and the lifter of our head. You are the glory and the lifter of our head. Thank you, everlasting Father. Blessed be your holy name, our God. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
Almighty God, we thank you for today. We thank you for the time in your presence. We thank you, oh Lord our God, for helping us to pray. The Bible says we know not how we ought to pray even as we should pray. But the Spirit helps us to pray. Lord, thank you for helping us to pray. Thank you for teaching us to pray. Thank you for making us to pray. Oh, Lord our God, we are asking: grant unto us the testimony of answers to prayers in the name of Jesus. Lord, you said: "Call unto me and I will answer you, and I will show you great and mighty things which you do not know." Baba, great and mighty things that we cannot even imagine, do for us in the name of Jesus. Lord, great and mighty things we don't know, hidden riches, hidden glory, that we have not experienced, that we have not seen before. Things, oh God, that because we could not see them as a result we could not enter into our Sabbath. Cause our eyes to see them. Cause our eyes to see them. Cause our eyes to see them. Cause our ears to hear them. Cause our ears to hear them. Ah, Baba. There are things we will hear that we will not fear again. There are things we will hear and we will be able to rest.
Look at when they told—when they told Jairus that see, your daughter is dead. Don't bother the master again. Lord, you—immediately spoke to Jairus. You said, "Fear not, only believe." You silenced the fear in his heart. Baba, every arrows of fear, every—every fiery dart of anxiety and worry that the enemy have shot into our life. Oh Lord, we pray: stretch forth your hand, stretch forth your hand, pull them out for us in the name of Jesus. The—the mighty hand of God. The mighty hand of God show up for you in the name of Jesus. Every fiery dart of the enemy. Every fiery dart of the enemy. Every contrary counsel of the gate of hell to keep you perpetually working, not coming into your rest with God. Every—every—every hover of darkness around your life. I command, let the light of God shine in the name of Jesus! In the name of Jesus! In the name of Jesus! In the name of Jesus!
Ah! The hand of God. That mighty hand that parted the Red Sea. That mighty hand that works wonder. That outstretched hand of God. Oh, be stretched towards you and lift you out of every miry clay in the name of Jesus. May the Lord set you on the rock to stand. May the Lord set your feet on the rock where you will stand and stand sure in the name of Jesus. Overnight miracle. Overnight miracle. Overnight miracle. The type that Aaron experienced that make a staff to bud. I pray for you. I ask the Lord for your life. I ask the Lord for your life. Visitation that suddenly turn the life of a man around. Visitation that makes men to wonder, "Is it still you?" May the Lord visit you! May the Lord visit you! May the Lord visit you! May the Lord visit you!
Thank you, Father. Oh, thank you, Jesus. Oh, thank you, Jesus. Oh, thank you, Jesus. Oh, Lord, we pray for our nation. Baba, magnify Jesus over Nigeria. Magnify Jesus over Nigeria. Over all the enemies of this nation, Lord, magnify Jesus. Over everything that cannot allow Nigeria to enter into Sabbath. Oh, God, we pray: magnify Jesus. Thank you, Baba. Thank you, Holy Spirit. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
Let's share the grace together in fellowship. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us now and forevermore. Amen. Surely goodness and mercy shall follow us all the days of our lives and we shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever and ever. Amen. God bless you.
