[Speaker 1]
Churchies and fellowships cannot be more spiritual than the individuals and families that constitute them. God greatly desires a godly home front. These are words of restoration and instruction in righteousness from Family Tech Ministry. May you be blessed as you listen.
[Speaker 2]
So, praise the Lord. Praise the Lord. Last month, we looked at "Walk as Wise, Not as Fools." And today, though we are starting a little very late, I will still try to stay within so that by 12:00, we should be through. I want to share a burden with us. And the burden is what I titled earlier this day. You remember I mentioned that last month when we met, that if God is leading us in this direction, by the time we meet this month, we'll be looking at "Earlier the Sixth Day." That's the topic: "Earlier the Sixth Day." "Earlier the Sixth Day."
So, we look at that. We trust the Lord to speak to our heart. In looking at the matter of "Earlier the Sixth Day," let's turn our Bibles. Let's turn our Bibles to—when we talk about the sixth day, you know we're talking about creation. What happened on the sixth day? What happened on the sixth day?
[Speaker 3]
That was the day God created man.
[Speaker 4]
And animals. Animals were created before.
[Speaker 2]
The sixth day, what happened on the sixth day? Look at it. Let's check the sixth day. Go to verse 22. Genesis, from verse 22.
[Genesis 1:22-23]
"And God blessed them, saying, Be fruitful, and multiply, and fill the waters in the seas, and let fowl multiply in the earth. And the evening and the morning were the fifth day."
So, God created the birds, ẹyẹ ojú ọ̀run, on the fifth day. I want to tell you that he is correct, that he created animals the sixth day. Now, on the sixth day, he says, that's 24.
[Genesis 1:24-25]
"And God said, Let the earth bring forth the living creature after his kind, cattle, and creeping thing, and beast of the earth after his kind: and it was so. And God made the beast of the earth after his kind, and cattle after their kind, and every thing that creepeth upon the earth after his kind: and God saw that it was good."
[Genesis 1:26]
"And God said, Let us make man in our own image"—ṣé o rí i pé it's that same sixth day? We are following it, abi?—"Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth."
[Genesis 1:27]
"So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."
That's 27. I first want us to look at. Look at very closely at this Genesis chapter 1, this verse 26, 27. Before God created man, earliest the sixth day, what was created? Earliest the sixth day.
[Speaker 3]
Animals.
[Speaker 2]
No. Earliest the sixth day. The sixth day, the animals were the early part of that day. The earliest of that day, animals were created. After they were created, God went ahead again and said, "Let us make man." Look at verse 27. It says, "So God created"—look at that 27 very closely. He says, "So God created who?" What is in 26? It says, "Then God said, Let us make man in our own image and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air." Look at 26, ẹ̀kọ́ tí Ọlọ́run sọ. He said, "And God said, Let us make man in our own image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea," and so on and so forth, abi? Look at 27. When he now wants to make them, he says, "So God created man in his own image." Are you linking 26 and 27? In 26, he said, "Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: let them have dominion." When it comes to 27, when he now wants to make them, he says, "So God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him; male and female created he them."
In 27, first, I want us to look at. Look at that 27 very closely. He says, "So God created who?" "He him." He didn't say "them." King James said "him," abi? He says, "God created man in his own image, in the image of God created he him." Before he now says "male and female created he them." So, when God wants to create man, he says, "So God created man in his own image. In the image of God created he him." Not "he them." After he created he him, before he now created male and female created he them.
So, what is that scripture saying? If you look at some other translations, they didn't write it like King James because it's problematic. They write it as—if you look at how they wrote it, what did they say? They didn't even say "created he him" because it's problematic. They say "created he them, male and female created he them." But actually, the truth is that what was created was "him." And in "him," it became "them." Now, what it's trying to say is this: in the making of human beings, in the design that we find in that place, the design is that God created "him" and "him" became "them." Do you get that? He created "him," that is the man. He created he him, but male and female he created them. It is "him" that is "them." In other words, the woman is not another existence. The woman is actually the extension of the existence of the man.
Now, why do we say so? Why are we partying with King James in this matter and not other translations? Because by the time you now go to how the thing was done, look at that sixth day, because the topic is "Earlier the Sixth Day." That's what we are considering. It's just a burden I want to share with you, a burden God gave me. The Lord made me to see it and it has become very crucial. I began to understand some things much more better about what is going on today. That's why I just trust God that we will still finish by 12:00. It's just a burden I want to share with you and I want you to run by this burden, to run by this vision. And I want you to see this matter of the sixth day. The topic is "Earlier the Sixth Day."
We have said something. Earliest the sixth day, what was created? Animals. Earliest the sixth day, animals were created. Earlier the sixth day, man was created. Do you understand me? If you now go and look at Genesis chapter 2, you will get it clearer. That actually that sixth day, it is not the time they created Adam after they created Eve. Adam came earlier. Animal came earliest. Adam came earlier. Eve came later, or early. If you want to use earliest, earlier, early. If you want to use it the other way, but we're just looking at the time, the time frame, that man and the woman was not created the same time.
We knew because after God made the man, the Bible says God brought animals to him to look for whether he will see his helpmeet there. And man gave name to all the animals, but there was not found anyone suit for man. Before God now said, "It is not good for the man to be alone." So, which means man had been created. It is—everything was on that sixth day because the seventh day God rested. There was no creation the seventh day. So, ọjọ́ kẹfà yẹn náà ni gbogbo rẹ̀. But exactly how that sixth day looked like remains a mystery to us. But the truth was that man was created and the man was journeying alone. And when God said, "It's not good for man to be alone, let me make a help suitable for him," God now first brought animals to the man. I hope you know I'm quoting Bible. I'm quoting Bible. That's Genesis chapter 2.
So, actually, chapter 2 is not after chapter 2 that you saw that place where he said, "And God blessed them and said, be fruitful." This chapter 2 is only explaining how God did it. It's not as if there was a creation again. Chapter 1 just gave us the order of creation. Chapter 2 was telling us how it was done. Do you get it now? Chapter one sọ pé, "Ọjọ́ kọkànlá, nǹkan báyìí ló dákẹ́. Ọjọ́ kejì, nǹkan báyìí ló dákẹ́. Ọjọ́ kẹta, nǹkan báyìí ló dákẹ́. Ọjọ́ kẹrin, nǹkan báyìí ló dákẹ́. Ọjọ́ karùn-ún, nǹkan báyìí ló dákẹ́. Ọjọ́ kẹfà nǹkan báyìí ló dákẹ́, Ọlọ́run dẹ̀ sinmi." Báwo l’Ọlọ́run ṣe ṣe é? Bó ṣe ṣe é nìí, chapter 2. O wá ń sọ bó ṣe ṣe é fún wa, how it was done.
But what interested God is to tell us how the woman was made. God did not try and tell us again how the other things were made. It was because God was going somewhere. You know in chapter 2, God now had to take time to give us the details, that actually, Adam and Eve were not at the same time. There was a time lapse on that sixth day. On that sixth day, you know at a point I was thinking that Eve came up another day. No, it was that same day. God finished everything he was to do that sixth day. On the seventh day, he rested from all his work. So, ọjọ́ kẹfà yẹn náà ni gbogbo rẹ̀. But b’ọ́jọ́ kẹfà yẹn, you know, a day with God is a thousand years and a thousand years like a day. Bóyá, that's why I just said earlier the sixth day. That's the only way we can coin it and we will not go into error. Eléyìí ṣáà wà before kò tó ṣé eléyìí. But b’ọ́ṣẹ́ gùn tó, we don't know.
Now, what is that? That's why he said, "And God created he him" and not "God created he them." When he says "he them," that's not the story. That's not the correct story. The story is that he created he him before he now created he them. There was a time lapse. He first created him, then he now created them. That's why King James—but when you look at it, it looks as if this thing is not grammatically correct, but it's correct. It's correct by divine inspiration what actually happened. So, God created him. And why do you now say "him"? Because it was after he created him, and we don't know what he was actually doing or whether it was some few hours later, or just after God finished creating him, that God said, "It is not good for him to be alone." We don't know.
But after he was created at a point, God now said again, "It is not good for him to be alone." Still on this sixth day—I'm going to make for him a help that is suitable. And when God was to make the help, the Lord now showed us what he did. Now, to make the help, the first thing he did was to present animals to him and ask him to make a choice. Animals were presented to him and he began to sort, sort, sort, sort, sort. I wonder why. Why? Why animals? This God know that animals cannot be good for him, but why did he first bring animals? He wanted him to get a point in thoughts that he won't just depend on—he wanted him to get there. Okay. That's also a truth. He may want him to get to that point. But scripturally speaking, it can also be another point of position as he test the level of—and wonder animals are brought to him, something like, "Can you choose among them?" which would not be the choice of—okay. It's a possibility.
But the Lord Jesus gave us a clear possibility. He said if you have not been true with unrighteous mammon, who will give you the true riches? He said if you are not faithful to what belongs to another man, who will give you your own? Before you get your own, they will first give you what belongs to another man and see whether you will be faithful with it. If you are not faithful with it, they will not give you your own. That's always been the pattern of God through history. They will first give you what belongs to other men and see you to see what you will do. Now, he was given and he sort and sort and sort and sort. Don't forget that this animal that were brought, bear in mind very clearly, that this animals already have their owners. Whether God was bringing the female or the male, when he was creating them, these animals, he said he created them male and female, abi? And those ones, just like the fishes, they have been blessed to be what? To be fruitful and multiply. So, they were divine partners of certain people. They were not his partners. But God still brought them. They have been defined—don't forget that they have been defined. When he was creating those things, they created them male and female and they wanted them to reproduce.
But God still brought them even when he knew that they had been defined for certain persons. When he was bringing sister elephant, sister elephant already have brother elephant that will impregnate sister elephant to bring elephant. When he met sister lion, there was already brother lion that sister lion was meant for. When God was creating brother lion, there was a sister lion with it. So, they were defined partners for defined people. But they were still brought. Now, when they were brought and Adam was going through all, going through all, he did not find anyone suitable for him. But I'm trying to make you see, understand that if you are not true to what belongs to another man, who will give you your own? Those people have been defined for certain people, but they were still brought to him after God have defined them already.
Animals came earliest that sixth day. Man came earlier the sixth day. The earliest was used to test the earlier before the early part of the day. Have I confused you? That time frame, something came earliest, something came earlier, something came early. You can use whatever comparative—it's not a must to use early, earliest, later that day. I'm only using that word for the purpose of explanation, just to show chronological order. That's why we are using that terminology.
But what is of interest to me and what my eyes were opened to is that the creation that came earliest, that was not meant for the creation that came earlier, was brought as a proposal to the creation that came earlier. It was when that earlier had gone through and did not define any wife for himself, but he was naming them, he was naming them. And as he was giving them name and he was naming them, I'm looking at that naming beyond just giving them name. I'm looking at that naming as being purposeful about those lives as they came. No, this is this sister. This is this, no. This for this purpose. Be definite in relationship. Be clear about what you are doing. No, this is sister lion. You are meant for lion. You, you are elephant. And God said that was the name. So, what God have actually defined them for was what Adam also named them for. So, he was found faithful. There was no abuse. There was no miscalculation. He classified them properly. And God said that was the name.
It was after that was true that God now made Adam to sleep, to bring what will come later, later the day, that is sister Eve. And when God now want to make sister Eve, what did God do? He made him to sleep. He took a bone out of Eve—out of Adam, and he modeled it. And what happened when Adam saw Eve? What did he say? He said, "Now, mo ti n wa lati aro mi o ri e, nibo lo wa? Ehen! Wow!" Some other translation, "Wow! This is now what?"
[Genesis 2:23]
"And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man."
That is strange. That's a strange thing. What God brought, was it bone? As I'm looking at you now, can we see bone? So, how could Adam say bone? Are you following me? How could he see it? You must understand that scriptures are written out of a divine mind. God want us to see some very serious issues. Actually, what God was saying—because you notice that later in Genesis, in Matthew, that thing that look as if it was Adam that said it, it was credited to God. Genesis 2:24 says, "Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother." Ọ̀pọ̀lọpọ̀ Adam ló ń sọ̀rọ̀ níbí. But Adam ni o jọ pé Ọlọ́run ló ń sọ̀rọ̀. Do you understand what I'm trying to say? In Genesis, it's Adam that's talking. But Adam says that God is speaking.
"This is now the bone of my bone. For this cause a man shall leave." Now, what I'm trying to make you see is that Adam did not see another human being. He saw himself. He saw himself. He didn't see all the features. The "wow" is not about the physical thing. It's not about the height, the shape, the beauty. That is not the thing. Because the "wow" follows simply and says, "Wow! What a beautiful creation," we know he's talking about the physical thing he was seeing. No. He said, "Wow! This is now bone of my bone." So, actually, there is a tie between the earlier the sixth day and later that sixth day. There is a tie. What is the tie? Is that what came later that sixth day, after man, that woman that came, is not actually another existence. It was the extension of the existence of the earlier hour. So, it is still man. It is still man. What you are seeing is still man. It is still the bone of man. It is still man.
But what I want us to look at and pray about this afternoon very seriously is the fact that there is a connection on this matter of the sixth day. Certain things are packed together. The one that is very important to you now before you are married—there are two sides to it: the person who is about to be married and the person who is married. For the person who is about to be married, it is the handling of the earliest part of that day that will determine whether your bone you will ever find one, whether God will ever bring.
You, the earliest—what came earliest that day were animals. It was after Adam named them correctly that God started another project. Is that not true? If when Adam saw sister lion, he had said, "Ah! Hey! Look at the tie, look at the eye, this is good for me," everything would have been frustrated to create the later part. He has found something for himself. Why are they brought? They were brought for him to see what he would call them. So, if he had said, "Ah! This fits me," and he moved with that, would we bother about bone? What I'm saying is that I suddenly realized something, that the eventual settlement of a young man in marriage—the eventual settlement that a young man will properly settle in marriage—has to do so much with what happened earlier the sixth day before later. What happened at that early hour? What happened in the morning of your life? What happened in that early hour of your life goes a long way to do so many things. Before a man finally settle down into marriage, several already classified sisters will have been made to pass through his life. Already classified. But we want to see what he will name them. That early hour of the sixth day, young man, young woman, do everything to be pure. Do everything, eh? To be true, to be pure. Do everything to name them. "No, no, no, no, no, no. This is fornication. This is lust. It cannot. Name them! Name them correctly so that Baba can start your own project."
If that project have not been properly managed, the second project will not start. The matter is this: serious enough this issue. You see, I begin to appreciate better why you will notice scripture—you see many times if there's anything I check Bible very well, you will notice that if there's anything the Bible so record so much I want us to learn from is the thing of immorality. Ọlọ́run tẹ̀ ẹ́ mọ́lẹ̀ dunjú. You will notice how the Bible take time to pick certain heroes and show us where they missed it. Where they missed it. Bọ́mọ ayé ṣe f’ọ̀rọ̀ look this place, this issue. You will notice this record because God wanted us to learn from all these things. Go and check again children of destiny, the ones that did not enter into their purpose. What was at the tail bear of it? It was immorality. What almost strangulate David was that he saw. What finished Samson? What would have finished Joseph? If Joseph at that early hour, at the earlier hour of his sixth day, if he had begun to sleep with Potiphar's wife, will God start a project of going to prison? That project is stopped. No project again. Project ẹ parí. Because it was from that that we now build the basis for prison. But how did we build it? Is it not from that one? He acted faithfully. And God said, "Yeah! We can now build the basis." That was all. Don't forget, he came out of Potiphar's wife. Don't forget. But he had gained what belong to another man. And they were making him to share. Look at it. Name it, Joseph. Name this thing, name it, name it. Joseph said, "No. This one belong to Potiphar. This is for Potiphar." And God said, "That's the name. That's the name! Let's now go and build your own."
As he was sleeping, God gave Pharaoh a dream. O lála, a lála, a lála. Magician, ẹ máa lè interpret ẹ. Oya, ìwọ náà tí bẹ̀ yẹn pẹ̀lú nǹkan kan, oya, interpret dream. Good. Oya, ẹ lọ pe jade. Wọn pe jade. And as he came out, his own was ready. Who brought the wife? It was Pharaoh that settled everything. So, was Joseph busy looking for a wife? No. It was God that brought it. What are you doing earlier your sixth day? Several brothers have settled with Potiphar's wife. They have settled her. But you know that marriage will not work. And that marriage will also strangulate purpose because Joseph will have only been a prosperous slave. He was not designed to be a prosperous slave. He was designed to be the master of Potiphar. That was his own design. So, when we settle down in these wrong marriages, they also strangulate purpose.
I'm talking about the early part of the sixth day. The earlier part of the sixth day, young man, young woman, do everything to be pure. Do everything, eh? To be true, to be pure. Do everything to name them. "No, no, no, no, no, no. This is fornication. This is lust. It cannot! Name them! Name them correctly so that Baba can start your own project." Because the point is that marriage settlement is not for the strong. It's not for him that willeth or him that runneth. It's of God that shows—that's why he said he that find a wife find a good and obtain favor. Ọlọ́run, it is only God that can settle you correctly when it comes to marriage. He says except the Lord watch over the city, the watchman they do what? It's not because brother is so prayerful. He's trying to look for—forget all those things, brother. It's not because brother is so prayerful.
[Jeremiah 9:23]
"Let not the wise glory in his wisdom, neither let the mighty man glory in his strength, let not the rich man glory in his riches: but let him that glorieth glory in the Lord."
Go and build the basis. Go and build the earlier part of the sixth day to design the later part of that day. You need a report. You need a report from that earlier hour. That earlier hour of the sixth day, the report we get from there—we need it for the later part of that sixth day. Because the later part of the sixth day is for you to settle down. There's a serious connectivity. It's a serious one. And I want to show you something that is so serious about it. Why the thing is not about how strong a man is or trying to have confidence in ourselves. Do you notice that even though it was God that did the sorting out for Adam? Do you see how Adam was almost in possession of the woman? That marriage of Adam and Eve, Satan still showed up. He showed up. That is where man had not even fallen into sin. When he was still man, very man, he could still be turned—he could still be turned by Satan. And that marriage was almost crashed. What do we say of us who have completed sin? Don't you see how much we need God? Don't you see how much we need to be true to God in our earlier hours? We really need God to help us so that at our later hour, we may settle down correctly. And even having settled down, we still need him to keep carrying us on because we have an adversary. And that adversary is the one doing everything to make sure that look, there is no basis why the later part should be good. Look at what he did at the earlier hour. At the earlier hour.
It's all about—when you say immorality all of these, these things are spreading—are they not snares of death? Who's behind the snares of death? Bible says be sober, be vigilant. For your adversary the devil goes about seeking who to destroy. He want to make sure that destinies are not fulfilled. Even if they marry, it's a marriage that strangulate purpose. He's just going around and look at how he looks at it. He's wasting our younger generation today because he knows if he can make all of them not to settle down properly, the purpose of God has been squandered. The matter is about purpose. It's about purpose. And if eventually, you know, we settle down correctly—for those that will be settling down—it's important for us to know, eh? That the woman is not another person. She's an extension of the man. So, a man who settles down and cannot see the woman as an extension of him, anytime he oppresses the woman, he's oppressing his existence. The woman is not another existence. She's not. That's why he says he that loves his wife loves himself. Ephesians chapter 5. He that hates his wife hates himself. He that curses his wife curses himself. He that oppresses his wife oppresses himself. This is the burden I brought to share with you younger generation. Let's be careful how we live. The earlier part of the sixth day has so much to do with the later part of that day. Let us pray.
