[Music: Song: Church fellowship cannot be more spiritual than the individuals and families that constitute them. God will ever desire a Godly home. These are words of restoration and instruction in righteousness with Family Tent Ministry. You will be blessed as you listen.]

We thank Him for the opportunity to be here again for our discipleship class. We want to appreciate brethren who are joining us on Telegram, brethren who are connecting with us on Mixlr. We want to welcome everybody. We want to say compliments of the season. As we said during the second—our Couples' Forum, second Saturday of the month—this is going to be the last discipleship class for the year 2024. The next time we'll be meeting again for our discipleship class, it would be in the year 2025, God sparing our lives and keeping us.
In a way, this is the last discipleship class for 2024 and as our usual practice, we normally create time to pray during the last discipleship class. We just give a little exhortation and then we take time to pray. I believe God that as we all connect together again this evening, the Lord will meet with each and every one of us wherever we are in the name of Jesus Christ. Let us have a word of prayer as we commence the fellowship this evening.
Everlasting Father, we are grateful. We thank You, our God, for this opportunity again to gather this evening. We are really, really grateful for preserving our lives through January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, and today we are talking about the last Monday in the year 2024. Lord, we express gratitude. Accept our thanks in Jesus' name. Mighty God, as we gather this evening, we say, Lord, let our gathering be unto You in the name of Jesus. Lord, meet with us individually wherever we are connecting to this program. Lord God, and meet with us collectively as a people in the name of Jesus Christ. Lord, we look up unto You, that there will be divine visitation for all of us in the name of Jesus. Thank You, eternal Father. As we also take time to pray, Lord, help us to pray. Lord, teach us to pray. Enable us to pray aright. Enable us to pray accordingly. Enable us to pray through in the name of Jesus. Thank You, Almighty God. In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
Last week, we started a new topic which we tagged, "From Him, through, by, and for Him are all things." All things are from Him, all things are by Him, all things are through Him, and all things are for Him. We began to look at the matter last week, checking it one after the other, checking how this is really true, searching through scripture. We saw that indeed no man should ever dare, should ever attempt to touch the glory of God. No man should ever dare it because God is the one who gives purpose and He is also the one who work in us both to will and to do of that purpose.
We saw last week that it's not only that God gives purpose to different lives. The Bible says we are the workmanship of God created in Christ Jesus unto good works which God has prepared for us. So, God prepared those works. He's the one who prepared them. At the same time, the enablement to do those works, He is also the one that enables us. So, it becomes very paramount for us as humans to be careful not to be self-advertising, self-promoting, self-oriented, self-marketing, ostentation, showmanship. We said we need to be very, very careful.
We looked at different biblical examples to buttress the truth of that matter. We saw Gideon. It was God who wanted to deliver the Israelites. It was God who went to meet Gideon. It was God who spoke to Gideon. It was God who made Gideon willing and able. When they even got to the war, the Bible says Gideon only blew the trumpet. The Bible says God caused confusion among the armies. So, when we look at it, it was God who worked. It was from God, it was through God, it was by God, it was for God.
We look at the example of Samson. Any time Samson want to do any exploit, you will hear the Bible say, "And the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon Samson." So, the matter is not about Samson. The matter is about the Spirit of God that came upon Samson. If the Spirit of God did not come upon Samson, Samson wouldn't have been able to do anything. Mind you, the deliverance of Israel from the hand of the Philistines was all the plans of God. All that plan, everything about that plan, is about God. It's not about Samson. It was God that wanted to deliver His people. So, the purpose is God. The execution of the project was also God.
We looked at, we went on to look at Saul. The Bible says the Spirit of the Lord came mightily upon Saul and he took an action that led to the deliverance of Israel from the Ammonites. We came to David and Goliath. It was the same thing, but we saw something about David. David never advertised himself. David was a correct person. David when he was coming to Goliath, he made it very clear. He said, "You come against me with sword, with bow, and with arrow, but I come against you in the name of the God of Israel whom you defy." He said, "The God of Israel will give you to me this day and I will cut off your head. Everybody will now know that the God of Israel don't deliver by sword." You can see that David understood the matter. David understood the direction to give the glory.
We move beyond David, we went to the New Testament to look at Peter. When Peter healed the man at the beautiful gate, at the gate of the temple that later became beautiful gate after the healing, the Bible made us to see that the people, they all rushed down to come and meet Peter. But Peter understood that it's not about them. That's where we concluded last week. Peter told them, he said, "Why do you marvel at us as if by our holiness or by our power we have been able to make this man whole? The God of the Lord Jesus Christ has today vindicated Jesus, vindicated Jesus." He went on and on and he went to preach the gospel and people gave their lives to Christ. The point I am making, men who understood this matter that all things are from Him, all things are through Him, all things are by Him, they will never touch the glory of God. They will never.
So, what I want to do today is just to make one or two references again to this matter that we are discussing and then we begin to create an atmosphere for us to be able to pray, being our last Monday of the month. Now, let's look at how Paul summarized the whole working of human salvation in the book of Romans. Romans chapter 9, Romans chapter 10, and Romans chapter 11. We will not read all of those chapters, we will just pick on important verses and then we would quickly round up on what Apostle Paul was presenting to us.
Apostle Paul in Romans chapter 10—let me quickly move to chapter 10—in chapter 9, he had established something very clearly, that it's not of him that wills, nor of him that runs, but of God that shows mercy. Now, when he got to chapter 10, he said something very, very important that will lead us into chapter 11. In chapter 10, he was talking about the fact that Israel did not accept the gospel. Israel as a nation, they are the one who crucified Jesus and they totally refused to accept the gospel. So, he was making reference to that matter. He said, brethren, from Romans 10:1:
"Brethren, my heart's desire and prayer to God for Israel is that they may be saved. For I bear them witness that they have a zeal for God, but not according to knowledge."
So, there are people who might have zeal for God and yet they are not saved. That's what he was trying to say. He said they have a zeal for God, only that the zeal is not according to knowledge. Then he said, "For they being ignorant of God's righteousness, and seeking to establish their own righteousness, have not submitted to the righteousness of God."
So, he went back to the issue of Jesus Christ. For Christ is the end of the law for righteousness to everyone who believes. For Moses wrote about the righteousness which is of the law, the man who does these things shall by them live. But righteousness by faith says if you believe in your heart on and on and then confess with your mouth you will be saved. For the scriptures say in verse 11, "Whosoever shall believe on the name of the Lord shall not be put to shame." And that is for whether Jews or Gentiles. And in Romans 10:13, "Whosoever calls upon the name of the Lord shall be saved."
And then he went on to say, "How then shall they call on him on whom they do not believe? And how shall they believe in him in whom they have not heard? And how will they hear without a preacher? And how will they preach unless they are sent?" That's the first thing I want you to see. Do you see that the whole thing about salvation is that the preacher cannot preach unless they are sent? It means until there is a sender who has a message and who is willing to send that message, there cannot be salvation. There cannot be salvation.
The preacher, just look at the line of it. So that, let me tell you something, that you preach and people get saved or whatever, you need to get something very clear. It's because there is somebody who want people to be saved. There is somebody who owns that project and you are just a medium to that person's desire. And that must be clear to us. And that's the reality of it. Except there is somebody who is sending the preacher, the preacher does not have a message to the world. So and a preacher cannot be the owner of the message. That's what we were emphasizing last week. That in a very strict sense of it, nobody is a founder. We were all found. Only God is the founder. What you have come to do have been something which has been. You are just a medium to somebody's desire and that must be clear. In the very, very strict sense of it, you were actually found. That's the reality. God brought you out of the sin market and then gave you a purpose to fulfill. So how did you become the founder?
The reality is that it is from Him, it is through Him, it is by Him, and it is for Him, all things. That's the reality. That's the reality of it. And in summing up that Romans chapter 10, Apostle Paul said something, Romans 10:20-21:
"But Isaiah was very bold when he says, 'I was found by those who did not seek me; I was made manifest to those who did not ask for me.' But to Israel, 'All day long I have stretched out my hand to a disobedient and contrary people.'"
So, Israel refused to accept salvation. But look at how the whole matter now turns in chapter 11. Romans 11:1:
"I say then, has God cast away his people? Certainly not! For I also am an Israelite, of the seed of Abraham, of the tribe of Benjamin. God has not cast away his people whom he foreknew. Or do you not know what the scripture says of Elijah, how he pleaded with God against Israel saying, 'Lord, they have killed your prophets and torn down your altars, and I alone am left, and they seek my life?' But what does the divine response say to him? 'I have reserved for myself seven thousand men who have not bowed their knees to Baal.' Even so then, at this present time there is a remnant according to election by grace."
There's a remnant according to election by grace. "And if by grace, then it is no longer of works; otherwise grace is no longer grace. But if it is of works, it is no longer grace; otherwise work is no longer work."
Romans 11:7: "What then? Israel has not obtained what it sought; but the elect have obtained it, and the rest were blinded. Just as it is written: 'God has given them a spirit of stupor, eyes that they should not see, and ears that they should not hear, to this very day.' And David says: 'Let their table become a snare and a trap, a stumbling block and a recompense to them. Let their eyes be darkened, so that they do not see, and bow down their back always.'"
Romans 11:11: "I say then, have they stumbled that they should fall? Certainly not! But through their fall, to provoke them to jealousy, salvation has come to the Gentiles." Are you seeing something? I'm trying to make you see the way God works. Salvation came to the Gentiles. "Now if their fall is riches for the world, and their failure riches for the Gentiles, how much more their fullness? For I speak to you Gentiles; in as much as I am an apostle to the Gentiles, I magnify my ministry, if by any means I may provoke to jealousy those who are of my flesh and save some of them. For if their being cast away is the reconciling of the world, what will their acceptance be but life from the dead? For if the firstfruit is holy, the lump is also holy; and if the root is holy, so are the branches. And if some of the branches were broken off, and you, being a wild olive tree, were grafted in among them, and with them became a partaker of the root and fatness of the olive tree," he's calling us what the Yoruba call *afomo*. We were actually *afomo*.
If you know what they call *afomo*, parasitic plant that will join, that will take their life on the branches of a living plant and begin to tap from the sap and live on that plant. That is parasitic plant. So actually, we were just brought into it, we were grafted in. The branch is still there, the root is still there. So we were brought in because of their blindness. I'm just going somewhere, please, I'm going somewhere. He said, "Do not boast against the branches. But if you do boast, remember that you do not support the root, but the root supports you." You do not support the root, but the root supports you. "You will say then, 'Branches were broken off that I might be grafted in.' Well said. Because of unbelief they were broken off, and you stand by faith. Do not be haughty, but fear. For if God did not spare the natural branches, He may not spare you either. Therefore, consider the goodness and the severity of God. On those who fell, severity," that's on Israel, severity. "But toward you, goodness, if you continue in His goodness. Otherwise you also will be cut off. And they also, if they do not continue in unbelief, will be grafted in, for God is able to graft them in again." Hallelujah.
"For if you were cut off of the olive tree which is wild by nature, and were grafted contrary to nature into a cultivated olive tree, how much more will these, who are natural branches, be grafted into their own olive tree? For I do not desire, brethren, that you should be ignorant of this mystery, lest you should be wise in your own eyes." He's warning us Gentiles. "Don't be ignorant of this mystery." He wants us to know that there is a mystery about our salvation. God caused Israel to go in unbelief so that God can now provoke them with wild olive tree. So we were just grafted in on top. I'm trying to make you see how what looks like evil is also the working, is a working of God within His sovereignty.
"Don't be ignorant of this mystery, that blindness in part has happened to Israel until the fullness of the Gentiles has come in. And so all Israel will be saved, as it is written: 'The Deliverer will come out of Zion, and He will turn away ungodliness from Jacob; for this is my covenant with them, when I take away their sins.' Concerning the gospel they are enemies for your sake; but concerning the election," those that would be taken by election. He said, "But concerning the election, they are beloved for the sake of the fathers." Because God has promised the fathers, on account of the fathers they will be saved by election, just like we are saved on account of Jesus. We are just gifts to Jesus for obeying God, we are gifts to Jesus. So for the fathers obeying God, they too will be gifts to God. That is just the bottom line of our entire salvation. So that you have nothing to begin to brag and talk and think as if something emanated—some people talk and brag sometimes, you just wonder. I am trying to make you see that the whole thing is flowing from here. You are just part of a process. You are just an insignificant aspect of that process. Very, very insignificant. To begin to brag and raise your shoulder and brag your head and think about—and that's why I often say there is nothing like mighty men of God, rather we have men of a mighty God. The mightiness is in God who is working in all, through all, by all, so that everything can be for Him.
Now look at what he said, Romans 11:29: "For the gifts and the calling of God are irrevocable. For as you were once disobedient to God, yet have now obtained mercy through their disobedience." How were you saved? Was it not mercy? So God will also come back to have mercy on them, so they too will be saved by mercy. Look at what the Bible says, verse 32: "For God has committed them all to disobedience, that He might have mercy on all." So that there will be nobody that will be saved by effort. It will be that God had mercy on everybody. We can all now say, "But for His mercies." Not what we will say, "I..." It will never happen. But for His mercies. The Gentiles, but for His mercies. The Jews, but for His mercies.
Now look at how the Bible now conclude what I have been saying since last week. Look at how Apostle Paul concluded the matter: "O the depth of the riches both of the wisdom and of the knowledge of God! How unsearchable are His judgments and His ways past finding out!" Look at how he concludes. "For who has known the mind of the Lord? Or who has become His counselor?" What do you see? "Or who has first given to Him that He may repay it?" Nobody. He gave all. Look at how he concluded, Romans 11:36: "For of Him," what followed again? "Through Him," are you seeing it? "To Him," are what? "All things." "To whom be glory forever and ever, Amen."
You see how the matter conclude. I'm trying to show you men who had had deep, deeper walk with God. Men who understand the mystery of God. Men who have sounded the depth of God's wisdom. And that is why you notice that the Bible always write—when you see arrogance in a man, it is a display of ignorance. There is no man who have sounded the depth of God's wisdom that will not forever be humble. Anywhere you see arrogance, it's a display of ignorance. That's the bottom line. Anywhere you see arrogance, people feel, "Do you know who I am? Do you know what I did? Do you know we..." When we begin to think that we have certain things because of who we are, because of certain things we did, because of one thing, because I'm so hardworking, because I'm so this, because you are so that, because you are so this. That is why I took time last week to make you see that it is God that works in us, it is God that works through all.
And that is why you noticed when John was speaking, he said, "No man can receive anything except it is given to him from above." When Apostle Paul was to pick the matter, he said, "What do you have that you did not receive?" He said, "And if you received it, why do you boast as though it is not a gift?" I sound it again, everywhere you see arrogance, it's a display of ignorance. When you begin to sound the depth of the mysteries of God, the depth of how God works, when you begin to sound into the wisdom of God, you will know that no man has ever given to God. You will know that no man has ever given to God that God should repay. No man. No man. No man.
Everything about us, like I told somebody, I made this statement one day and I said we are simply objects of mercy. That is just what we are. We are just objects of mercy. That is the summary of everything. Mercy found you. Mercy brought you into it. Mercy gave you a purpose. Mercy gave you strength to fulfill that purpose. That is the summary of the whole thing. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
By the time we move on on this matter next week, we would be looking at what is the implication of all this for us. And we'll look at biblical examples. We'll look at what our Lord Jesus said. We'll bring all of these things together and then we will be able to draw a curtain, possibly in our next discipleship class or in another two weeks we'll be able to draw a curtain on this topic. But for now, I want us to go to the place of prayer. It is our last Monday and we needed to pray. We need to talk to the Lord, we need to pray. And I want us to begin by taking this very, very simple, popular song, "We are grateful O Lord, we are grateful O Lord for all You have done for us."
[Speaker 1 singing]
We are grateful, O Lord
We are grateful, Lord
We are grateful, O Lord
For all You have done for us
Amen, Hallelujah
We are grateful, O Lord
We are grateful, Father
We are grateful, O Lord
We are grateful, Father
We are grateful, O Lord
For all You have done for us
Amen, Hallelujah
We are grateful, O Lord
I want you to look inward for all He have done for us. Can you make reference to what He has done for you? Can you just remember some most particular things? Just I want you to speak to God in your own way. Some particular things in 2024. As we round up 2024, our last discipleship class for this year, can you look back between January and now? Are there some specific things you want to say God thank You for? I want you to make reference in your own way. If you want to sing a song, if you want to mention those things. I don't know how you want to do it. But he said for all that He has done for us, what has been done for you in particular? Is there something that has been done for you in particular? In particular, make reference to yourself. And I want you to worship God wherever you are listening to me this evening. Wherever you are, can you particularly give thanks to God for some particular things in 2024? It could be something in January, it could be something in February, it could be something in March, it could be something in April, it could be something in May, it could be something in June, it could be something in July, it could be something in August, it could be something in September, it could be something in October, it could be something in November, it could even be something this December. And it could be something for every month of the year. Maybe there are things for each month that you want to specifically—I mean you can remember them specifically as we are praying now. Not what you are trying to think about. You can just remember them. Can you just begin to say God thank You for this, thank You for this, thank You for this, thank You for this. O that men would praise the Lord! It's so important that we praise the Lord. It's so important that we bless God. It's so important that we appreciate God. He said, "Are there not ten lepers healed? Why is it that it's only one that came back to give thanks?" That's what we are doing right now. We are just saying thank You. Maybe there's a particular message that changed your life. There's a particular teaching that was a serious blessing to you. Can you make reference to that teaching this evening and say God thank You for this teaching. O thank You for that visitation that happened in the month of so-and-so and so. I just come to say thank You. I just come to say thank You, thank You, thank You, thank You, thank You, thank You. It is the Bible says it is right to praise God. Every time is not about asking, asking, asking. Prayers can just be to thank God. We call it prayer of thanksgiving. Prayer of just thanking God. That's what I feel, that today we just want to thank the Lord. We want to thank Him for specific things in our lives, not just anything. That's why I'm saying, pick up those things that you can remember specifically as we are praying now. Lord, we just thank You. We just bless You. It is right to praise the Lord. That is the position of the scripture. It's the position of the scripture. The Bible makes it clear that men should praise the Lord. Men should learn to give glory to God. I'm going to read a portion of the Bible to you in Malachi. Men should learn to give glory to God. It's something that God desires. It's something that God wants. God desires that men should give glory to Him. God greatly desired that men should give glory to Him. Men should give glory to Him. It's something that God so desire. It's something that He desires. Lord, we just thank You. We just bless You.
Can we take this song together?
[Speaker 1 singing]
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases
His mercies never come to an end
They are new every morning
Always new every morning
O great is Thy faithfulness, O God
Great is Thy faithfulness
The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases. His mercies never come to an end. We have just discussed something about His mercies. Can you speak to God this evening? Lord, thank You that I'm just an object of Your mercy. That is just what we are. We are just object of mercy. That is the summary of everything. Mercy found you. Mercy brought you into it. Mercy gave you a purpose. Mercy gave you strength to fulfill that purpose. That is the summary of the whole thing. Hallelujah. Hallelujah.
In Jesus' name, we pray. Amen.
I said something that when you see arrogance, when you see haughtiness in people, it is a display of ignorance. Men who have truly sounded the depth of God's wisdom, what show forth in their life is humility. You noticed that Jesus said, "I am humble and lowly in heart." Again, the Bible tells us that let this mind be in you which is in Christ Jesus, the mind of humility. Men who truly knows the Lord. Jesus is our perfect example. Men who truly knows the Lord. When Satan begin to talk, look at everything about Satan, everything trace to him is about arrogance. The Bible says we should not make a young convert a leader lest he fall into the temptation of the devil, which is arrogance and be condemned like the devil. When you see arrogance, devil is at work. That's the truth.
I want you to pray this evening. I want you to talk to God wherever you are listening to me. If you are having element of arrogance in your life, the truth about it is that you need to pray for deeper revelation of God. See, it is revelation that brings humility. It is not effort. It's not that I'm trying to be humble. You don't try to be humble. When you sound the depth of God's wisdom, you will become humble. You cannot try to be humble. It does not come by trying. That's the mystery of this thing. That's what I want you to know. It is as you sound the depth. Do you see what Paul said? He said, "I will not have you ignorant of this mystery." See, when you are ignorant of the mysteries of God, you start talking anyhow, you start acting anyhow. That's when you are quick to speak, you are quick to anger, you are quick, quick, quick, quick, because you don't understand the mysteries of God. But when you begin to sound mystery, you begin to see why the Bible says be slow to speak, be quick to listen, be slow to anger. You become somebody who is trying to locate what God is doing because many times you might be fighting the purposes of God and you will not know. I was speaking in one assembly one day, I said the reason why many of you are not changing is because many times when God bring the Judas that will betray you and the crucifiers, the high priests and the religious leaders that will arrange your crucifixion so that you can die and experience resurrected life, I said you know what you do? You were too, you were too intelligent for God to handle. Quickly you have killed your Judas. Quickly you have crucified all your crucifiers, so you still have a stiff life. You have not been able to die. You did not submit to your crucifiers. I was telling them the mystery about spiritual growth.
I want you to pray. I want you to pray. You don't try to be humble. If you are trying to be humble, you can never be humble. It's not by trying. Revelation is the key. I want you to pray to God this evening wherever you are listening to me. God, that I may sound the depth of Your wisdom. Lord, bring me to sound the depth of Your wisdom. Father, bring me into Your mysteries. Father, Father, Father, Father, bring me into the depth of Your mysteries, the depth of Your wisdom, the depth of Your knowledge. Lord, bring me into the depth of Your mystery, the depth of Your wisdom, the depth of Your knowledge. Lord, bring me into the depth of Your mysteries. Ah, I will go a little deeper. Jesus Lord can be sweeter. Take me Lord a little deeper. Deeper yet, deeper O. Take me Lord a little deeper. Your love can be sweeter. Take me Lord a little deeper, deeper yet, deeper yet Lord. Take me Lord, take me Lord a little deeper. Jesus love can be sweeter. I want to go a little deeper, deeper yet, deeper yet Lord. Take me Lord, take me Lord a little deeper.
Father, grant me a revelation that will cause my arrogance to melt away. Grant me a revelation that will make humility a lifestyle. Lord, grant me that revelation, O God, that will make me to have the same mind that is in Christ Jesus. O more, more, more like Jesus. No ostentation, no show, no display, no self-marketing, no self-promotion, no self-exaltation, no self-advertising. It is just all You want to promote is Jesus. All You want to showcase is Jesus. Who You want to preach is Jesus. Who You want to make known is Jesus. What You want to protect is Jesus. What You want to advertise is Jesus. What You want to sell is Jesus. O that it may just be Jesus.
[Speaker 1 singing]
Just a closer walk with Thee
O grant it Jesus is my plea
Daily walking close to Thee
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be
Just a closer walk with Thee
O grant it Jesus is my plea
O daily walking close to Thee
Let it be, dear Lord, let it be
Can you turn that song to prayer? That Lord Jesus, let it be. I am weak but You are strong. O Jesus keep me from all wrong. Walking daily close to Thee. O Lord Jesus, Lord Jesus. I am weak, I am weak, I am weak but Thou art strong. O I am weak Lord but You are strong. Jesus keep me from all wrong. Keep me from all wrong. Grant me a deeper revelation. Grant me insight into You. Lord, as we round up 2024 and we are pressing towards 2025, I am saying Lord Jesus, that my life may be an advertisement of Jesus. My life may be a showcasing of Jesus. My life may be a promotion of Jesus. My life may be—the center of my life may be Jesus. Lord, that it will just be all about Jesus. It will just be all for Jesus. It will just be all from Jesus. It will just be all for Him. O Lord God Almighty. Deeper walk with You. Deeper revelation. Deeper walk with You. Deeper revelation. Deeper walk with You. Deeper revelation. Deeper walk with You. Deeper revelation. Deeper walk with You. Deeper revelation of Jesus. Lord, Lord, Lord, show me Yourself in a way that my arrogance is melted away. Lord, reveal Yourself to me in a way that every showmanship in me dies. God, reveal Yourself to me. Make Yourself known. Make Yourself known, Lord. Make Yourself known to me. Make Yourself known, Lord. This is my one plea. This is my one plea. As we round up the year, this is my one plea, that I may decrease, that You may increase. That I may decrease, that You may increase. That I may decrease, that You may increase. It may be just You alone. It may be just You alone. That self-interest, self-pursuit, self-promotion, that they die. That it's just You and You alone. You become the center. You become the center in the name of Jesus. A deeper revelation of You. Lord, grant me revelation. Grant me insight, insight into You, into Your ways, into Your works, into Your workings. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus.
I want us to pray. I said something that for more that we have been saying, we saw that God is the author of our faith. And the Bible says He's not only the author, He's also the finisher of the faith. Can we say God, thank You because You have authored my faith. O therefore I know You are able to finish it. I did not author it. You are the one who authored my faith. Thank You that You are actually my beginning. Lord, You are actually my source. Lord, You authored my faith. I did not author it. You have made me to see that it was Your mercy that brought me in. It was Your mercy that brought me thus far. It was Your mercy, if not on account of Your mercy, Lord, You authored my faith. You are the one who authored it. Lord, I thank You because having authored it, You can finish it. I cannot finish what I did not author. I cannot finish what I did not author. O I am confident of this very thing, that He who began the good work in me is able to finish it.
Thank You Baba, that You who began this good work in me, O He will begin the good work in me. He is able to complete it. He is able to complete it. I want us to worship God this evening, that God, You are the one who began the good work in us. I refuse to fear what the devil can do. I refuse to fear the challenges that 2025 may be bringing.
