Seeing the Invisible Prayers

[Background music and singing] Church and fellowships cannot be more spiritual than the individuals and families that constitute them. God greatly desires a godly home for you. These are words of restoration and instruction in righteousness from Family Tent Ministry. May you be blessed as you listen. [Speaker 1] My righteousness. So, Lord, we know that your everlasting arm is with us. Your help is present for us. The Psalmist said, "The Lord is our strength and our refuge, a very present help in the time of trouble" (Psalm 46:1). We thank you for your help that is ever-available. We thank you for your strength that is ever with us. And we understand, Lord, that the basis of this strength is for a man to see the invisible. Lord, as we conclude on this matter today and take out time to pray, oh Lord, we beseech you, meet us at the points of our need. Lord, let there be divine visitation. Let the visitation be clear. Let it be definite. Let it be remarkable. Let it be lasting. In the name of Jesus. Our eyes are on you, oh Lord, for by strength shall no man prevail. Father, here we are. Our meeting will be in two parts. First, we'll consider two scriptures and then we'll take out time to really pray. And the way I want to start this matter is I will first take us to Exodus chapter three. Exodus chapter three. Exodus chapter three. Exodus chapter three. We have been considering this matter that until faith is a substance, the just cannot live by a faith that is not a substance. That is very clear to us, isn't it? Until your faith is a substance, you can substantiate it. It is something you have embraced, something you have seen, something you have encountered, you cannot live by it. And then I just want to show us something quickly in Exodus chapter three. I will show us also in Daniel just quickly, quickly, quickly. We'll just read those scriptures. Look at Exodus chapter three, verse seven. I know we know the beginning of the story. That was when God appeared to Moses in a burning bush. We are familiar with that story, isn't it? So, I'm just taking it from verse seven. And the Lord said, "I have surely seen the oppression of my people who are in Egypt and have heard their cry because of their taskmaster, for I know their sorrows. So I have come down to deliver them out of the hand of the Egyptians and to bring them up from the land to a land that is good and large, to a land flowing with milk and honey, to the place of the Canaanites and all of that. Now therefore, behold, the cry of the children of Israel has come to me, and I have also seen the oppression which the Egyptians oppress them. Come now, therefore, I will send you to Pharaoh that you may bring my people, the children of Israel, out of Egypt." (Exodus 3:7-10) Does Moses have a commission in this place? Does he have a commission? A divine commission. What was the commission? God wanted him to do what? To go and bring—that was the divine purpose of Moses. Every other thing Moses did in his life, they were just preparing him for this assignment. He was first a shepherd. First, he was a prince somewhere till he was 40. He was able to despise the pleasures of this world. Then that was not enough. God gave him another training again for 40 years. What was the training? Shepherding sheep. Patterning his life for him to understand shepherding. So, it looks like his career, and that's why I tell people, don't think your career, don't think you are in isolation. Don't ever see your life in isolation. Don't ever do. Everything about your life gathered together into one thing. But you notice that the point of gathering them, God now want to gather them. What did God do to Moses for him to gather them? What did God do? [Speaker 2] When God was calling him? [Speaker 1] No. When God want to call forth all those training, the shepherding, the prince-hood that he despised, and now God want to call him into the purpose for all those training is to go now, use all those training to go and deliver the people of Israel. What did God do to him? God made him to see the invisible. He made him to hear the inaudible. What I'm saying is that the several things God is doing in your life, you may never be able to gather them together. They will just be scattered here and there if your eyes are not open. You see how God gathered all those training of 80 years. He appeared to him in a burning bush. "Moses, where you are standing is a holy ground. You are going..." "I cannot go. What do you mean?" "Throw down your rod." It became a serpent. What did he do? He fled. God called him back. "Pick it by the tail." "Put your hand inside here." After all those encounters, what happened to Moses? He was able to bring together all the diverse things God has been doing in his life into the very purpose for which God was doing them. So, no human being can actually be able to gather his purpose in God who is just a literal churchgoer. That person will die a religious person. That is the fact of the matter. That is the divine truth. You see another summary, I want to read that of Daniel. Another summary, that one is a very popular scripture too. We can even quote it offhand. After Daniel did all the exploits, I think we have been talking about Daniel, so we don't need to repeat Daniel again. The exploit of not eating the food, the exploit of interpreting the dream, the exploit of interpreting—they brought interpretation, calling forth a dream and interpreting it, interpreting the handwriting on the wall. You can see all those exploits. The king brought Daniel to make him serve Babylon, but the king was bound to Daniel. You see the reverse in the order. When Daniel was summarizing his life, what did Daniel say? Let's quote together offhand if we are familiar. Daniel 11:32b. "The people that know their God shall be strong." Do you see that men who don't have this encounter, they can never do exploits? It is the basis of divine exploit. He said the people—all these things you are seeing me doing, it was because, if you look at his life, there was vision, there was revelation. Was that not? Studying of the books. Is that not in the life of Daniel? All of those things was in his life. He was doing them. He was encountering God. Sometimes God will send angels. Sometimes, like that, by the time he was to summarize all those things together, he put it in one word. It is those who know their God. It is not those who just enter into things. That's why I said to gather everything God is doing in your life together so that you can bring it to the primary thing, you need to see the invisible. One thing is that no believer longing for exploit will not see the invisible. If you are floating around ever through your life, you are casual. [Speaks in Yoruba] You are just lukewarm. Evangelism, it is when the people—it is when somebody talks seriously about prayer that you pray. It is when they do a seminar that centers on time that you run back again, "My quiet time. My quiet time." No. Don't forget what I said last week. I'm trying not to repeat because I want to finish up. Don't forget what I said last week, that whatsoever is not continuous can never make a divine mark in life. So, it's not just doing things. Today you are serious, after that it is gone again. Again you went to a conference, you catch another fire. You know what I call those ones? Kerosene experience. You know how kerosene burn? [makes whooshing sound] They are those that receive it on the rock. they quickly receive it but do you see it? No depth. Moses, everything he was doing, you notice that it was when he was taken deeper. Do you see that even though he ran, he was seeing high perception of this, he still don't have the strength to go and face Pharaoh? Do you notice it? So, he was taken out deeper, deeper, deeper yet I pray. That is part of the prayer we want to pray today. Deeper, deeper, deeper yet I pray to the point of breaking forth. Deeper, deeper. God will be taking you deeper systematically, gradually. And let me explain it to you. Look at your computer science or what are you reading? Okay. When you first came in 100 level, you were introduced to some things. Consistently and continually, first and second semester, you went, you came back again, you were introduced to another one. Do you notice that after continuous depth and depth and depth and depth, what happened to your life? Not the way you entered at 100 level. That is how you will be. Anybody who is not daily seeing the invisible can never go deeper. Mark my words. Depth comes from him. That is what we were made to know. That is why there is no, no matter how the wind blow, palm and coconut, what do they do? They remain standing. Why? Depth. I want to warn you. Don't increase in knowledge without depth. Knowledge is superficial. Knowledge—for example, let me give a good example what I mean by knowledge. You know we all know that God can heal. Don't we know it? But not all of us practice divine healing. It's not because you are not a Christian. Please, don't feel anything about—I'm just making an example. Do you understand me? Those who are able to do it, it was because they saw something. "And what do you have that you did not receive?" So, nobody can boast over the other person. But I'm only giving an instant of something. Do you notice that even though you know that God can heal, you cannot walk in divine healing? Do you know why? It is knowledge without depth. Depth is invisible. It's the invisible. When God begin to open your eyes inside scriptures, God begin to open your eyes, God begin to make you see, God begin to make you hear. And I keep telling people, I've been saying this thing since I was a teenager, and it has become one thing that I knew because of God's mercy. Encounter God so much at my teenage age. God just had mercy on my life. You know, maybe God saw how far the devil had taken me, and God just felt let me also do something very fast and catapult this boy. Because I cannot say this is the basis why God did all of that, apart from that, he had mercy on me. It's right from a teenager that I gradually began to understand that when a Christian begin to see the invisible, hear the inaudible, comprehend the incomprehensible, friends and neighbor, they start calling him mystical. [Speaks in Yoruba] They have come. You know, now they begin to say, "Ah, his own is too much." And sometimes, you know what they do? Systematically, they will be thinking that you have gone soft in your head, that you don't know what you are doing. Those are the literal things that happened with my life. These things, they happened literally. So, apart from the Bible, they were things that I personally experienced. You cannot explain what can give a youth corps a strength to declare wedding when there was nobody to back it and there was no particular job in his hand. The strength came from the invisible. And when I declared it, the first thing brethren in Jos said, "Peloyole, even if God bring provision for the ceremony, how will you sustain your wife?" And somebody said, "I hope you will not reverse to a point where you start eating the dungs of goat." I'm serious. But you know what I told them also? I said it is the fear of the unknown future that make people not to enter into their glorious future. Those statements were not coming from my head. They were not statements just having confidence. No, it's a lie. I can do all things through what? Christ who strengthens me. There was an invisible that was clear. It was clear. It is the basis of depth. It is the basis of strength. It is the basis of putting it all together and running with the Lord. Now let me show us something in Exodus chapter 17. Exodus chapter 17. Exodus 17. Then Exodus, I think that should be 34 verse seven. Exodus 17. Are you there? Exodus 17. Are you there? We take reading from verse eight. "Now Amalek came and fought with Israel in Rephidim. And Moses said to Joshua, "Choose some men and go out and fight Amalek. Tomorrow I will stand on the top of the hill with the rod of God in my hand." So Joshua did as Moses said to him and fought with Amalek. And Moses, Aaron, and Hur went up to the top of the hill. And it was, when Moses held up his hand, that Israel prevailed. And when he let down his hand, Amalek prevailed." (Exodus 17:8-11) Can you explain this? Can you explain this at all? Where was the battle going on? At Rephidim. Moses and the other three, they were on a hill. The other two, they were on a hill. The battle is going on down, they were looking at them. What I'm trying to ask, how do you reconcile that if Moses' hand goes up—I say if the two hands now, if Moses' hands go up, what happens? They will be prevailing. If Moses' hand are descending, what will happen? Can you explain it? I'm trying to make you see that the battles of our lives, the challenges of our lives, the confrontations of our lives, the victory is not in the forefront. The victory is elsewhere. How do you explain it? They are fighting, but what determines whether one will prevail? Listen. It is not whether—maybe I should put it to practical things for you. What determines whether you will get the job is not because you have a first class or you have a second class lower. Relate the thing to the battles of your life. What determines whether you will marry correctly is not how much you corner sisters with all kinds of gift as sisters corner brothers down with all kinds of goodies. It's not how much you begin to run into intimate relationship, "I'm leaving school now, let me get one. I don't want to—let me make sure." It does not depend on those things. I'm talking about the victory for the people of God. That's what God is showing us. You notice what David said? "I will lift up my eyes to the hills from whence cometh my help" (Psalm 121:1). Men who understand this thing, men who have proper understanding of these things, you can see the way they live their life. Look at how successful and victorious David was. Till David died, I know this parable among the—this sayings among the Yoruba. [Speaks in Yoruba] That the person that is so strong in battle, one day he will die in battle. That the person that knows how to swim, one day it is that thing that will kill him. But I want to give you two—one biblical experience and one literal experience. Moses fought battle from when he was a teenager. He fought until he could no more fight battles. He didn't die in battle. You know one thing? I want to also speak about, I don't know how my dad understood this, but there is something he normally says. My dad died at 96. Finish eating and then he slept and that was all. But my dad, 10 years he was a sailor, 32 years he was a customs officer. So he served for 42 years and he was constantly being transferred. If you look at my—if I tell you my CV, primary one to two, this state, primary two to three, another state, because he was just packing us. None of us—his mother is an Ogoni woman and an Ifa priest. I'm telling you true life story. I'm not exaggerating these things. Whenever my dad wants to travel, there's this apprehensiveness. It was not about kidnapping, but you know when people travel then, there was no phone to call them. It is when they get there they will now write you letter. After two months it will get to you. You now know that they got there safely. You know that kind of life as at that time. So there's always apprehension that if he gets there, how will we know? By the time we know, maybe he would have rotten. You know nobody—you know those kind of thing. But my father was constantly from one state to another state, from one state to—he was carried because he was in a section that they were marine, a technical section, the marine unit. You get the point I'm making. And he was gradually he rose to become the head of that unit. So he was constantly heading, go and head, go and head, go and head. When my father wants to travel, the mother want to consult the oracle. My father will say she should never do it. That his mind is made up in traveling, and he knows he will go and he will come back. He will now make this statement—it says in Yoruba but I'm trying to—it's sweeter in Yoruba but I want to translate it. The person that will die on the sea will never die on the road. The one that will die in the air will never die in the sea. The one that will die at home will never die on the road. That his life is in the hand of God. My father did all those traveling, traveling, traveling, traveling, traveling. He only had accident once. It was in the city. Two vehicle bruised themselves. You go and repair, you go and repair. Everybody go and repair. That was the only time for that 32 year. What I'm trying to bring out, people will say [Speaks in Yoruba] death in traveling will kill a person that is driving. Is that not what you will say? But I'm trying to make you understand that what controls these battles, they are not where? They are not in the field. It is where? Upstairs. I'm talking about understanding the invisible, comprehending the invisible, depending on the invisible, relying on the invisible. That is why you will see David, "God, should I go? Will I overcome?" God said, "Go, pursue, you will do." He knew that it is not about his mighty men. He knew! When he come back again, "Ah, Lord, if I pursue this troop, will I recover? Will I recover?" "Go, you will surely recover all." He will go again. "God, how do I fight this one in..." Do you see that—I'm trying to make you see men who understood this thing. Men who are not like that, their strength will be where? Where? In the battlefield. They don't understand what controls the battle. Lift your life beyond men who think the battle is in the field. Prepare your life for the invisible. Prepare your life for depth, for encounter. So I think we'll be praying those things into our life. We'll be praying. That's why you find in Ephesians chapter one, what did Apostle Paul pray? He said, "I pray that your eyes of understanding might be opened" (Ephesians 1:17). You remember Mary Magdalene when she first went to the sepulcher and she was weeping because they said they have stolen the body of Jesus? But when she saw the invisible, what happened to her message? Her message changed. Strength came. She became a missionary to Apostle Peter. Why? She saw the invisible. Are you understanding me? Are you getting this point? And look at the last thing I want to show you, then we go into prayers. Deuteronomy chapter 34, verse seven. Deuteronomy chapter 34, verse seven. What do you see there? Can we read together? "Moses was 120 years old when he died, but yet his eye was not dim, and his natural force was not abated." (Deuteronomy 34:7) That is a prayer you must pray. That as God is adding days to your life, may your vision not be dimmed. May you be going deeper. Do you see? He said his eyes, it continued to see God. He continued to see God. His vision was not dimmed, so he could not perish. Because it is when there is no vision that people perish. Moses continued like that till he was 120. God had to look for how to bury that man so that they don't turn his body to an idol. And you see even demons contending for his body, but he still see God, won the battle for the body of Moses. What am I trying to say? Can you beg God that, God, don't let my vision go dim. Let it be going sharper, sharper. I'm not talking of natural eyes, although many times I find myself praying this thing too for my natural eyes. Many times I just pray and say, God, can you help me? Can you grant me—it's a grace. It's not something that God chooses who he gives. That somebody is using glass don't make him less spiritual. There are some things you must get clearly. Because there's some mentality we carry sometimes. If somebody now using drug—it's not like that. Everybody has his own calling, everybody has his own grace, everybody has his own purpose, everybody has what they are running. It is God that make one tomatoes, another one cashew, another one sugarcane, another one—you understand what I want to bring out? It is for you to know what you have been called into and run into the fullness of it so that you don't live below the capacity that you are supposed to live. That is what is more important. Not to be comparing yourself with the others because if you do that, you are not wise. To compare yourself based on what the divine thing that God want you to do, to be able to see it. Because he will give one five to win 10. He will give one two to make it four. He will give one one to make it two. One is not greater than the other. Their calling was just different. But what is important is 100% maximization. Five to 10, what is that? 100%. Four to eight, what is that? 100%. Two to four, what is that? 100%. One to two, what is that? 100%. That is what is important. Understand who you are and I'm showing how you can understand it so that you don't begin to run your life scatteredly. That's why I showed you Moses was able to bring everything together when he began to see the invisible. Olawale, please come and lead us in the second section of prayer. We want to take time to pray these things. We want to take time to pray these things into our life. Today I really want us to pray. Praise the Lord! Amen. Now we go into the session of prayer. I want us to begin by appreciating the Lord. Let us begin to thank our Father that has not hidden this truth from us. Bible says the Lord sent his word. The word heals and deliver us from all affliction, oppression, death—think of any adversity. It is the same word. And that has been sent to us again today with intention for your healing, with intention for your deliverance, with intention for your help. Let us appreciate God. We've been on this study for a while, seeing the invisible. Let us thank God. What has the Lord been saying to you? What has the Lord been doing in your life by the reason of this word? The Lord has sent his word to heal. He has sent his word to deliver. He has sent his word to take us. Father, we are grateful unto you. We thank you, Lord. Glory be to God! Bible said we should come into his presence with thanksgiving. Do you—has God done anything that deserve thanksgiving by the reason of this word he has sent to your life? By the reason of this word. This word of deliverance, this word of healing, this word—anytime I have opportunity to be under the word of God, I tell it to the hell, I tell it to heavens, I tell it to forces of darkness. The word of God is coming. It is the intention of God that this word to heal me, to deliver, to set free, and I will appropriate it in line with what I want, what I want God to do with my life. So, that is what I know God will do. What do you see about—begin to appreciate God. [Speaks in Yoruba] That the Lord has sent his word to set us free, the word of inspiration. The word that gives life and understanding. When we are talking about the invisible, it's broad. It talks about revelation, it talks about insight, it talks about inspiration, it talks about the breath of God, it talks about the nudging of God. When God gives you a nudge over a matter, that is seeing the invisible. When God comes to you through his word, when God let the word ignite with faith in you, that is seeing the invisible. When God gives you understanding and that work, give you a knock and take you from a particular position and transform you in the realm of faith and you agree with the word of God, that is seeing the invisible, and this is what God has done in our life. Let's appreciate God. Father, we are grateful. Thank you, Lord. For few days or weeks, Lord, we have been on this topic. You are a good God. Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. Blessed be your name. Blessed be your name, O Lord our Father. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. It is the reason why God brings this word and every other word just like the teacher has said. Please, don't let take any opportunity God gives us to hear his word. Don't let—let us not take it for granted. It's every aspect of our life. He said it's not in isolation. They are gathering together and if we are—if we are careless, we may—we may miss something and that will be a vacuum. I want us to ask the Lord. I want us to ask the Lord. I want us to begin by singing this song. I don't know if all of us know, but I know the new generation among us will know it very well. So, if I'm missing the word, please help me. Open the eyes of my heart, Lord. Open the eyes of my heart. I want to see you. I want to see you. Make sure you are praying. It's a prayer song. Open the eyes of my heart, Lord. I want you to be picking out from my jotters what we have done in past weeks as issue of prayer. It was said again that once what a man can see are only things that are visible, said they will die only with natural experience. What you can only see is just that that visible. said, we know the consequence. You will just die a natural man. You will die a natural man. When we are talking dying as a natural man, you die a carnal man. Because the natural man is a carnal man. There's no way you want to paint it. What makes us different, what the Lord had in mind when he save us is to have what? Is the realm of the spirit. It's the realm of the spiritual. You are supposed to be different from any other person that is not in the fold. So why should I end up live a life just like anybody? If all that I have is even the whole world, I mean in intellect, in wealth, in prosperity, it's still nothing. You are a natural man and you die just common. Not fulfilling God's purpose. And God can bless up somebody that have understanding of what he has raised him to be and God commit the whole world into his hand. Do you know that person will use it a different way? Because he knows, he has seen the invisible. He understand what God want him to see. He's not just living his life, using money, the money, the resources God has committed into his hand to just do anything. It may just be, God, I am giving you this just for this village. And if that person only fulfill that, he has died as a supernatural man. What are we saying? That the Lord God Almighty will help us. Call upon the Lord. I don't want to die a natural man. Yes. I don't want to die a carnal man. Even I don't want to live my life—what are we talking about death? Even in my living. Even in my live I don't want to live a carnal man. A carnal man is somebody that is only the senses, it's only the senses that dictate, that tells you what to do, or probably the world, or probably philosophy, or probably anything around you, you could just see that, you look at it, you plan it, logically you weave it together. There is no God factor in your life. It's a wasted life. Let us call upon God. God, please help my heart. Help my heart, handle my heart. Search me. Search me, search my heart. Try my heart. Am I wise in my own eyes? Am I somebody that will begin to boast in my knowledge and take glory and not return glory to God? No, God knows us. In fact, we don't know ourselves. Bible says the heart of a man is desperately wicked. Who can know it? Even the man himself cannot know it except God. If the Lord will come to us, we must have a heart, a humble heart. A heart that submits before the Lord. Ask the Lord, God, please, search my heart. Here is my heart, circumcise it. Circumcise my heart, O Baba. Break this heart. Search it, put your searchlight into me. Help me to see myself in light of you, in light of your light, in light of your word. Help me to see myself. Take away, O Lord, every unbelief, take away, O Lord, every pride, every wisdom of this world. Take away from me every—every—every sagacity that I think I have, whatsoever is that thing that will deprive me of seeing the invisible. Lord, please remove it from my life. You know me, you know me thorough-thorough. You know me through and through. I bring myself before you, Lord. Remove everything from me that will not make me to see you. Remove from me everything that will not make me to see the invisible. Remove from my heart, remove from my attitude, O Lord, remove from me, remove from my life, everything that will not make me to see you. Anything that will not make me to walk with you. Anything that will not make you to commit deep things of God into my hand. Anything that will make me to be among the carnal, the natural. Anything that will make you to bypass me. Anything that will not make me obtain mercy. Anything that will not make me to receive grace to go in this might. Baba, remove it from me. Remove it from me, circumcise my heart. Help me, O Lord. Nobody has any merit, no—no stand to receive anything from God. And the same time we know that the Lord also expect a responsibility from us. And Bible talks about a man here, you know, that once who that the Lord will hide himself from. You know, he talks about the man who is proud. He's part of what we learned in one of the—one of the Mondays. I open the place in my book now. It is the will of God to hide himself from the arrogant. Yes. From the proud. Are you seeing that? From the arrogant, from the proud. From people that will make a shipwreck of the grace of God. You know, what is the—Bible talks about who would the Lord consider or reveal himself to. It's not to a man of a proud heart, a man that think he's wise in his own eyes. We see that in first Corinthians chapter 1:26 when it talks about thinking that we are wise in our own eyes. When we have that attitude, or people that are debaters, they want to—they want to find God with their knowledge. Or could it be somebody that also seek for sign? We have handled that by faith. That is what made the Jew that those of them that do not see the Lord because they were looking for what? They were looking for signs. And for the Gentile, what was their problem? Philosophy, it's not logical. Proud hearts, hearts that seems wise in its own eyes. The Lord will not reveal himself. Because it will be like casting a pearl before swine. So I want us to ask the Lord that God, please help my heart. Help my heart, handle my heart. Search me, search me, search my heart. Try my heart. Am I wise in my own eyes? Am I somebody that will begin to boast in my knowledge and take glory and not return glory to God? No, God knows us. In fact, we don't know ourselves. Bible says the heart of a man is desperately wicked. Who can know it? Even the man himself cannot know it except God. If the Lord will come to us, we must have a heart, a humble heart. A heart that submits before the Lord. Ask the Lord, God, please, search my heart. Here is my heart, circumcise it. Circumcise my heart, O Baba. Break this heart. Search it, put your searchlight into me. Help me to see myself in light of you, in light of your light, in light of your word. Help me to see myself. That the substance we are talking about is by faith. When we are talking about faith, "Faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen" (Hebrews 11:1). When you talk about evidence, I may tell a law, come and give evidence, you must have seen it before we talk about evidence. But he's talking about faith here that is that the sure evidence of what you have not seen is faith. Because it is when you key into that faith that it comes to the substance, it becomes the physical, it comes out. Bible say everything we see they were made from nothing, things that do not appear. The Lord speak and they came to pass. It is the same by faith. It's just by faith. What has the Lord said concerning us? Do you believe the report of the Lord? Do you stand on the word of God as it is? I want us to say, begone unbelief. Everything that says I cannot, you cannot, it's not possible, this is your weakness. We came to Jesus by faith. We believe by faith. The continuation of our work in him is by faith. And we will also end up by faith. He said, "When I come will I find faith on earth?" (Luke 18:8). The just shall live by faith. I want us to ask the Lord that God, please help me. Say begone unbelief. Begone unbelief, my Savior is near. O Lord, help my heart. Help my heart, help me to hang on your word. That is faith! Help me to hang on your word to hold on to your word and act on it. When you say it, Lord, help my heart to believe it. Let my heart believe it. O Lord, help me to hang on your word. Do you believe his experience? Do you believe that what God has done in the life of men of old he can do in your life? Do you believe what the word of God has spoken concerning you? Do you believe what he has said in his word? This is what to make us to see the invisible. If you want to see the might of God, the acts of God, the ways of God, we cannot be more spiritual than God. We need faith. It's by faith we come to him. Lord, help our faith. Help us, O Lord, that we have it. Help us, Lord, in the name of Jesus. We also know by the grace of God that one of the ways to go deeper, we know until we are deeper, we cannot reach into God. God is not on the surface. Even if you look at earthly things, mundane things, when you are talking about the precious things, I mean about physical things, you don't see them on the surface. Look at all the precious stones, diamond, is it on our field? You dig to get it. And when it comes to God, we also go deeper. We go deeper. And today we have also been made to see that one of the ways of going deeper is a consistent work. It's a daily, consistent, deliberate, I mean intentional work with the Lord. Where you daily and consistently see the invisible, that is when you go deeper. You'll be like palm tree, the height of palm tree is the same depth it has. That's the reason why I've not seen, in this my little non—the few years on earth, a palm tree that is being blown away by storm or what have you. Why? Because of its depth. And what to call upon the Lord, you know, thank God that we have a high priest that is touched with the feeling of our infirmities. He knew when we can slip off. He was in the boat, he slept, when the—his disciple called and say, "Master, we perish," he rose up. He also he was touched with the feeling of when we were hungry. So we could even make up our mind that I want to go deeper. Lord, I am making this intentional and deliberate, daily of a few days or particular days of the week, and at that time hunger will come. Unusual day it will not come, but that time that will come. We have a high priest that is filled with the such touching. But I won't deceive you. It is how much you are able to be persisting. Daily, consistent, and persistent in this work. Then the Lord will do what? We will see God in his mighty way. When Moses turned around to see the—what was this? What did God do? He used that to call his attention. All this our daily work with God, persistent, I mean being persistent in our work with God, they are things that the Lord is—you are using to draw your attention. You want to go to God. And that's the reason why the devil is fighting it. So that we will not allow this to happen. If this person should continue like that, we are in trouble. It's very, very important. They say when you see a place, if you want to see a mark, when rain is falling, maybe on a rooftop, and there is a particular place—[Speaks in Yoruba]—and the drain keep dropping on that particular it becomes you will see what? A hole begins and if that continues, what happen? It can become a very big hole, pothole and so on. Consistency. And this has to come with being deliberate. I want us to call upon the Lord. Lord, I am making up my mind. Even if it is just to be in his presence. We know we cannot be there and come back the same. It's not possible. He will not ask the house of Jacob to seek him in vain. Even if it is that you just that you are just there worshiping God, you are doing wonderful, great things. I want us to ask the Lord that, God, please help me. Say, begone unbelief. What you can only see is just that visible. said, we know the consequence. You will just die a natural man. You will die a natural man. When we are talking dying as a natural man, you die a carnal man. Because the natural man is a carnal man. There's no way you want to paint it. What makes us different, what the Lord had in mind when he save us is to have what? Is the realm of the spirit. It's the realm of the spiritual. You are supposed to be different from any other person that is not in the fold. So why should I end up live a life just like anybody? If all that I have is even the whole world, I mean in intellect, in wealth, in prosperity, it's still nothing. You are a natural man and you die just common. Not fulfilling God's purpose. And God can bless up somebody that have understanding of what he has raised him to be and God commit the whole world into his hand. Do you know that person will use it a different way? Because he knows, he has seen the invisible. He understand what God want him to see. He's not just living his life, using money, the money, the resources God has committed into his hand to just do anything. It may just be, God, I am giving you this just for this village. And if that person only fulfill that, he has died as a supernatural man. What are we saying? That the Lord God Almighty will help us. Call upon the Lord. I don't want to die a natural man. Yes. I don't want to die a carnal man. Even I don't want to live my life—what are we talking about death? Even in my living. Even in my live I don't want to live a carnal man. A carnal man is somebody that is only the senses, it's only the senses that dictate, that tells you what to do, or probably the world, or probably philosophy, or probably anything around you, you could just see that, you look at it, you plan it, logically you weave it together.
