Blesses everyone that come to His presence in Jesus' name. I want us to have a word of prayer as we also worship the Lord this evening. Heavenly Father, we are grateful unto you. We worship and exalt you. Daddy, thank you for your faithfulness. Thank you for your goodness unto us today in our different endeavors. Thank you for bringing us to your presence again to learn at your feet. We give all the glory in Jesus' name. Daddy, we commit ourselves into your hand. As we come, as we learn, oh Lord, please speak to us in the name of Jesus. Open our eyes to see Jesus. Let both the speaking and the hearing of your word come with grace and enter with power in the name of Jesus. I pray our lives will not be the same. Lord, we give all the glory. In Jesus' name we pray.

By God's grace, today is the last Monday of the month. we normally dedicate it to prayers. Praise God that has helped us to learn over in the course of the month and also to pray as the Lord helps us. And that's the reason why I somewhat want to briefly share before we go into prayer in the name of Jesus because He's the King of kings and Lord of lords. His name is Jesus.
Before we pray, I want to quickly just remind us of what the Lord said in Proverbs 18:10. I tagged it "The Name of the Lord." Proverbs 18:10. The Bible says in Proverbs 18:10, "The name of the Lord is a strong fortress; the godly run to him and are safe." That is NLT. Let's read for New King James Version too. "The name of the Lord is a strong tower; the righteous run to it and are safe." Let's look at another translation. "God's name is a place of protection. God's people can run there and be safe." That's a great comfort, that's a great trust, and is to remind us again, again in that name of Jesus. We are coming again in the name that is the strong fortress, the tower where we want to run, where we have been running, where we are running into, and there is something that is certain. We shall be safe. We shall be safe. Praise the Lord.
In my introduction, I want us to see something. What is something about name? A name is a powerful thing. This was more valued in ancient times than now. A name carries the identity of a person's name. When you hear the name of some people, you can imagine who they are themselves. When you hear identity, talk about President Tinubu now, you know whose identity, that is the President. Who they are. Name is very important.
So the name of the Lord is a biblical expression for the whole character of God. If you want to know anything about the character of God, it's the name of the Lord. And God so much declared it that in His sovereignty, He made the name of Jesus to be a name that reflects, that came to show us in physical and human form the character of God. So the name of God, it refers to God's person. It refers to the entirety of who He is. It refers to God Himself as our rock, our refuge, our fortress. That's what the Bible calls Him. Our Shepherd, our King, our Redeemer. God and His name are one and the same. Praise the Lord.
Our Father has many names as He introduced Himself to different people, different servants of God, prophets in different dispensation. But He tells us something. He said in the last days, He didn't go through anyone again. He spoke by Himself, His identity. And who is that identity? Who is He Himself? It's the Lord Jesus. In Hebrews 1:1-3, let me quickly open that place for us to know why we are talking about the name of Jesus. God chose to speak by Himself now, and that Himself is the Lord Jesus. That Himself, He said, "Now in these final days, He spoke by Himself, His identity."
Hebrews 1:1-3. It says, "Long ago God spoke many times in many ways to our ancestors through the prophets. But now in these final days, he has spoken to us through his Son." And that Son is the Lord Jesus. "God promised everything to the Son as an inheritance, and through the Son he made the universe and everything in it. The Son reflects God’s own glory, and everything about him represents God exactly. He sustains the universe by the mighty power of his command. After he died to cleanse us from the stain of sin, he sat down in the place of honor at the right hand of the majestic God of heaven." That is the identity God uses now, Jesus. That is the name. That is the strong tower. Amen.
That is the strong tower. That is the strong tower. When we look at an example, an example of God's reputation in the book of Joshua when God led the Israelites into the Promised Land. Joshua sent men to Jericho to spy out the land. They discovered they were discovered and protected by a woman named Rahab. And what did she did? She made this declaration to them. Look at what she said. "We have heard how the Lord dried up the water." That is Joshua 2:10-11. "For you when you came out of Egypt and what you did to Sihon and Og, the two kings of the Amorites east of the Jordan, whom you completely destroyed. When we heard of it, our hearts melted in fear and everyone’s courage failed because of you, for the Lord your God is God in heaven above and on earth below." That is the great God. And this great God of heaven and earth above, who is also our God and our Father, and the God of the earth below, chooses to identify Himself in Himself. That Himself is Christ Jesus. Hallelujah.
And that is the reason why you will shortchange yourself, you deprive yourself, in fact, you are harming yourself when you don't have a relationship with the Lord Jesus. You are none of Him, you are none of God because that is the only way. And that is the only way He chooses, and there is nothing anybody can do about it. It's either you like it or you leave it. If you leave it, you leave for your detriment and peril. If you love and follow, oh, for your own good.
The name of the Lord is a strong tower. The righteous run into Him and are safe. You know what "strong tower" is? Strong tower means something that is fortified, mighty tower of strength, great strength. That is the name of the Lord. That is the name that has been given to us, the name of Jesus whom God chose to identify Himself. The tower is something that is high. The name of the Lord is also high. So that is the tower. You can take solace. You can run into the name. You can take cover in the name. It conveys competence, power, effectiveness. Think of anything glorious that cannot be conquered. That is what the name of the Lord is. It's above all your problems. It's above all your challenges. That name of the Lord. If you run into that name, you are safe. It's above your need. That name provide all your need. That name surprises you. That name does what no man can do. That name can do and undo. It is by this same name all things, seen and unseen, are created. Can you see how great that name is?
Praise the Lord. And who can run? In that verse, it said, "The righteous run." The righteous run into it. When we are talking about who is the righteous, who is the righteous? The righteousness the Bible is talking about here is being in right standing with God. This is something no one can achieve on his or her own. For everyone to attain righteousness, they must first receive it from God through Christ Jesus. Can you see it is that same name that saves?
In again in Ephesians 2:8-9, it said, "For it is by grace you have been saved through faith and this is not from yourselves, it is the gift of God, not by works, so that no one can boast." No one can boast of the righteousness we are talking about. You do not merit it in any way. There is nothing we can do to merit it. We can only obtain it through our Lord Jesus. Can you see it is that same name that saves?
Again in Romans 5:17, "For if by the trespasses of one man, death reigned through that one man, how much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift," it's a gift. That gift has been given. All you need is to accept it. "How much more is that provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness reign in life through one man Jesus Christ." It is the name of the Lord. That righteousness that will make you to have a right standing with God comes by that same name, Jesus. Romans 5:17. So we can see that it is only the righteous. It is only the righteous that can run into it. Praise the Lord.
Then when you look at it, why didn't the Bible say "The righteous walk into it"? "The righteous run." Run is faster than walking. I hope you know that. That means you don't delay. When something is urgent, when you have targets to meet, or there is something pursuing you, you run. Nobody runs around now except you have something to achieve as a target that has to be achieved. And that is what God expects of us. How do you use the name of Jesus? Do you come sluggishly? Run! Hurriedly. Why the rush? If there is anything that said "They rush at it," rush, run into the name of Jesus. Don't play with the place of using it in the place of prayer. Don't play in your call to that name. Hurry! Hurry! Rush at it. Don't drag, anywhere you rush it should not be gentle. It is in the use of the name of Jesus. Work at it, run, run into it.
What will happen when you run into the name? It's a great target. Anything one does gently, you take it lightly. No. The name of the Lord will help us in Jesus' name. The Lord will help us in Jesus' name. The Lord will help us in Jesus' name.
Then I also want us to say, see here. He said, "The name of the Lord is a strong tower." When we are scared. When you are scared, it's a place of safety. We have talked about what tower is. A place of strength where you are protected. You know tower in those days, they prepared in the nations. In the ancient times, they have a place, they have prepared it for war and battle. People run to the place. They won't be drumming and be dancing to enter the tower. People run. What is that thing that is like a threat to your life? To your soul?
You know the greatest battle is for your soul. Somebody is even warring against you. They want to take a decision. They want to rob you of your your your your kudos on the in the physical or arrange you with maybe you bought something and want to cheat them. Where the war against your soul, that war is enough for you to run into the name of Jesus. The war against your soul being lost, being jeopardized by the enemy, being contaminated. You know contamination is is more dangerous. Those of us that we are in the scene, the contamination around us today, don't take it lightly, oh. Please hurry and run into the name of Jesus so that you will not be contaminated.
When a tower is a place and there is war, people hurry, they rush into. Do you rush in your own time of trouble? Do you put your trust in your bank statement or the influence around you or your position? Who do you run to? What is your confidence? He says here, when you are scared, it's a strong tower. When you are ill, it's that tower. When we are lost, when you are sad, when you are threatened, when you are overwhelmed. Every area of your life, the name of the Lord. Run to Him always. Run to the name of Jesus always. The safety in that name is multifaceted. And you can only get it. You can only get it. Praise God.
Just again, we want to come in the name of the tower. I don't know what you think you have done before without seeing results. Please, I assure you if you join us in this prayer, you are here to pray, the name of Jesus has never failed and He will not fail in your matter. He will not fail today in the name of Jesus. The name of the Lord has never failed, He will not fail today in the name of Jesus. All you need to do is to look at that name that you run to. You cannot be running in some areas and use God to be part. God will never take that. God don't share His glory with any man.
Let our name, our trust, be in Him only. And when our trust is in the Lord, oh, Bible says He will keep in perfect peace the man whose heart stays on Him because he trusts in Him. If you want peace in everything, that means your matter has been handled by God. So let your heart stays on the Lord. Let your heart stays on the Lord. The Lord will help us in Jesus' name.
So as we pray, remember you are praying in the name of the Lord, the name of Jesus. Hebrews 1:1-3 told us He chose His identity. He said He speaks to us now by Himself through His Son. For that is the name we want to run into. That is the name we want to call upon. That is the name we want to seek His face. That is the name we want Him to give us instruction. That is the name of Jesus. Ah, that is the name of Jesus.
Praise the Lord. As we begin to pray, we have some prayer points here. By the grace of God to pray. God has helped us to learn some things. We have learned about biblical example of God's providential mercy where we saw mercy, where we understand mercies of God, where we understand mercy with men. There are a lot of things, man's mercy, deliberate action towards God and so on. And we want to call upon the Lord again tonight that God, make us examples. Let our life be testimony of people that also have obtained mercy with God.
What is that thing you want to call God for? What is that expectation? We all have lofty dreams. Do you know it's not by power, not by might? But mercy can make all your dreams come true in God's own way, not because of anything you have done. So let us begin to thank God, appreciate the Lord for His mercy. Let us begin to appreciate the Lord for His mercies, for the mercies of the Lord that gave us the name, that gave us a name that is above every other name. The mercy of the Lord gave us a name, and that is the name of Jesus. He chose to give us His identity in Him. That is the name that is above every other.
Let's appreciate God. Let's thank Him for the name of the Lord is a strong tower, high, mighty protection, fortified city. Oh, Father, we give all the glory. We worship and exalt you for your name, the name of the Lord, the name that is above every other name. The name that is above every other name. The name that death bows to. The name that sickness, oppression, they flee, they flee out of their secret places at the name of Jesus. Daddy, we worship you. We give all the glory. We worship and exalt you for your name. That in these last days, it pleases you to speak through us through the name of Jesus. Father, we give all the glory. We give you thanks, we worship and exalt you. Father, we worship you. Father, we worship you.
[Singing in Yoruba]
Amen. Bible says "the righteous run into Him." The righteous runs into the name of Jesus. Are you righteous? The Lord has told us from His word how you can be righteous. It's not everybody. It's the righteous that runs and the door will be opened. It's the righteous that takes solace, that takes safety, that take shade and defense in the name of Jesus. Are you righteous? Have you asked the Lord Jesus as your Lord and Savior? Have you come to obtain that saving grace? Have you come to Jesus? Have you come to Jesus?
He says by the trespass of one man Jesus, death reigned through that one man Adam. How much more will those who receive God's abundant provision of grace and of the gift of righteousness through Christ Jesus reign in life through this one man Jesus Christ. Romans 5:17. How much more? How much more? The degree to which death, shame, reproach, oh, uncertainty, terrible life, the extent to which they have permeated your life or destroyed your life or had worked the work of death and condemnation. Bible say even more than that, that is what the the righteousness of Jesus will do in your life. And He's going to give you grace and the gift of righteousness.
Will you call upon Jesus if you have not surrendered your life to Christ? This is an opportunity. All you only need do is to come by faith. He said for it is grace you have been saved through faith and this is not from yourself, it is the gift of God. God has given you a gift. Oh, will you accept that gift and ask Him wherever you are, "Lord Jesus, to come in," because it is the righteous that will run into the name of Jesus and be saved. Why do you not call Jesus if you have not yet accepted Him as your Lord and Savior? Please tell Him to come. Open the door of your heart. He says, "I'm at the door knocking. Anyone who opens, I will come in and sup with him." He will stay with you. Tell Him to come in. As you invite Jesus into your heart, you are inviting His coming with the gift of grace and righteousness. He doesn't come empty-handed. He will come in with the gift of grace and righteousness so that you can run into the name, so that you can be part of those who are secured in Him.
Call upon the Lord. Call upon the Lord. He's everywhere. He said, "Call upon me when I when I can be heard." Seek Him where He will be found. Call upon Jesus. Tell Him to come into. Tell Him to surrender to Him. Hallelujah. And if you have done that, congratulations, you're a righteous person. Not because of yourself, but it's the gift of God, not by works that you should boast, but that grace and righteousness reign in life through this same name Jesus. Now you can run into the name of Jesus. Run into the name of Jesus. Carry it in the name of Jesus. Carry it. What is that thing? Let us begin to submit it at the feet of Jesus. Submit it at the feet of Jesus. He's ever ready. Run to Him. He will carry it.
He said there is this songwriter said "what a needless pain we bear, all because we will not carry it to the Lord in prayer." This is another opportunity. Carry your burden to the Lord in prayer. The Lord will carry it. You will be saved. You will be saved. You will be saved. Oh Lord Jesus, we will be saved because it is in you there is salvation. Salvation is in the name of Jesus. Hallelujah. Father, we run into you. We run into you, we bring all our challenges before you today. We bring oh Lord our trouble, we bring our pain, we bring all things that is contrary before your feet. Oh Lord Jesus, take it from us. We ask for safety, safety for our soul, safety for our life in the name of Jesus.
Are you overwhelmed? Are you struggling? Are you sad? Don't be scared to come to Him. He is the name that is above other name. In the name of Jesus. Romans 10:13 says, "And everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved." Call upon Him. What is that thing? Call upon Him. Call upon Him for your salvation. Call upon Him in the name of Jesus.
In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. From the one of the messages we took is talked about the mercies of God. It said mercy can mean favor, kindness, love, and gracious attention of God towards somebody. It said it's an act of God to withhold punishment. Can you see that? Who does not want that? Who does not want that? I want us to pray, pray for your life. Mercy, have mercy. Ask the Lord for mercy. Mercy, God's kindness, God's goodness, God's favor, God's love, God's gracious attention to our lives. Lord, we ask for your mercy. We ask oh Lord for your mercy. Your act that withhold punishment. Hey, the act that withhold punishment. The act that withhold punishment. The act that withhold punishment. The act that withhold punishment.
Oluwa, we ask for your mercy. We ask for your mercy. You said in Romans 9, "I will have mercy on whom I have mercy and I will harden whom I Lord do not harden us." Lord, Lord have mercy upon me. Have mercy upon me. Do not harden me. I'm not of the of those who will be hardened. Do not be hardened. What is that thing in your life that you always show mercy to the Lord? Is it a life of sin? This thing is overcoming me. A life of someone who lacks righteousness. I'm calling in the name of Jesus. Outside they thought I'm a Christian, but inside, ah, my life. Let's see what the Lord says. He said he will harden whom he harden. Let your mercy sort me out. Don't let this thing, don't let this hidden sin, don't let this thing, the more they prevail over your life. I fear for you, oh. Could it be that you are hardened? But don't conclude that. Rise up and run to the name of Jesus.
If you have surrendered your life to Jesus, He has given you victory. You only need to arise and claim it. Today, today, today, today, today, speak to that thing. Word of the Lord says God has a power for you to work. He said, "You will receive power after which the Holy Spirit has come upon you." Arise and tell that thing no, I have obtained mercy. I have obtained righteousness. What else could I have obtained? It is because God showed me mercy. That is the reason why He gave me righteousness as a gift. That is the ultimate. That is the nature of God. If God do not show me mercy, why has He saved me? Where will anything that is contrary to God's purpose of our life stay? It's not possible, it cannot stay. It cannot stay. Fled strangers, flee in panic out of their secret places. All the strange things in our life, in the name of Jesus, get out, get out out of your hiding places. That is what the word of God says.
Begin to ask the Lord, the mercy that I've obtained is mercy to be to live an abundant life, victorious life, over the scene, over the world. That is mercy I've obtained. Mercy to live a victorious life over sin, over the devil, over the world, over the flesh, over everything whatsoever.
Are you praying? Are you praying? God is good. If God will freely give you Jesus, the word of the Lord says, if He freely give you Jesus, what will He not freely give you with Him? Hallelujah. God will give you everything. Oh, the only thing you need to do is to is to trust, is to trust and obey. Trust and obey in the name of Jesus.
Mercy, mercy has nothing to do whether you have done something right or wrong. We read that in Psalm 73 when we read through that place. Ah, that is God's choice. He said it's when one obtain only on the decision and choice of God. Can you see? That is the mercy you obtain when you come to Jesus. That is the mercy, and that is the greatest, that is the door that open doors, every other doors. That open it to you. That open it to you. That door open to every other door. So begin to command, lift up your head so ye gate, and be ye lifted up ye everlasting doors, that the King of Glory may come in. King of Glory come in. Mercy come in that opens doors, doors, doors of grace, doors of mercy, victory in every areas of our lives.
God did not promise us victory in some areas. He said we are more than conqueror. We are victorious. Victory in every area in the mighty name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. My life will not be an abandoned project. I am not an abandoned project. The Lord will not abandon His work. He will do it until until His purpose is fulfilled and actualized here on earth in the name of Jesus.
In Jesus' name we pray. God is good. God is good. God is good. We serve a good God. He's a good God that loves us, that that loves us in every way. Lord, we worship you. Hallelujah.
Then there is another kind of mercy. The mercy that comes as a result of man's deliberate action towards God. Did you see that? We have just talked of mercy that came that we do not merit. But there is a kind of mercy you will obtain too by what you do with what you were given. What you were given, the first thing, everything about us, eh, everything about us were given. I hope you know. Your breath, that is the first place of giving. His, it is not your own.
There is another kind of mercy, eh, that comes as a result of your deliberate action towards God. Is that how my life is? I can live it anyway I like. Is that? It is not yours. Is that an action you are given towards God? There is a kind of mercy, eh, this kind of mercy will not come your way, oh. The mercy that comes away as a result of our deliberate action towards God.
And that means there is a mercy, eh, this kind of mercy will not come to us out of the fear of God, out of obedience to God, out of submission to God. The Bible says can we say grace can we continue in sin and say grace should abound? You keep God forbid. You keep working disgracing the name of the Lord, not working in the fear of God, and you are expecting a kind of mercy? No. Where we read in that passage, we saw the story, many story about mercies that come as a result of our fear for God.
I want us to pray. Lord, please teach me your fear. Teach me your fear. Many of us think when we say we fears the Lord is to cringe, Olorun nbo as our some of our early parents that are not approachable. That is not the kind of fear we are talking about. The fear that revere God. The fear that submit to His will. The fear that takes no destruction, no steps, no other directing, but only from Him. Let us call let us call upon the Lord. Lord, please teach me your fear. Teach me your fear and cause me to walk in it. Teach me your fear, teach me your fear. Teach me your fear, oh Lord, teach me your fear.
So that there are some mercy, there are there are things that follows. There is a kind of mercy, there are kind of God's God's benevolence, God's goodness that follows a man that fears Him. Let us call upon the Lord. When you look at Cornelius in the Bible, Bible say the man was a devout man that loves almsgiving. And not only that and that fears the Lord. Can you see what God did for this man? God had to organize, He came down, He remembered His good work and arranged for His salvation. God so much package that thing that it was a comprehensive package.
Even what the apostles would not have done because of their sentiment, they are Gentile, God bypassed that. When that man gathered, Bible says he gathered all his friends, relatives. And when the word of God came, before they even started before he started praying, Bible says the Lord filled all of them with the Holy Spirit. Hey, mercy that comes because we fear the Lord. The fear of the Lord will pave way for you. The fear of the Lord keeps a man. The fear of the Lord keeps us from stumbling. The fears of the Lord does a thing, unthinkable, unimaginable things for our lives.
Ask the Lord, teach me your fear. Lord teach me your fear. Help me to revere you. Help me to live for you. Help me to listen to you. Help me to obey you. Help me to obey you. Teach me your fear, teach me your fear. Many of us don't know what it means. We don't know what it means. God, please teach us your fear. Teach us your fear, teach us your fear and cause us to walk in it. Cause us to walk in it. Change our attitude towards you, oh Lord. Let our attitude in life submitted for the Lord and for His glory.
He said if you love me keep my commandment. The fear of God also is in love. You know I said it's not a negative fear. It's a fear, a respect, a reference, a revere that you give to someone you love. God, please help your love, oh Lord, to overshadow our mind. Help your love, oh Lord, help let your love, oh Lord, fill us in the name of Jesus. Let your love fill us, oh Lord, in the name of Jesus.
In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Another thing I want us to take again is that I want us to remember it was we also learned. We learned that we will give account for every area of our lives because we own nothing. Everything we have we are been entrusted into to us. We will give account. The reality of our lives is that we are stewards who will give account to God. So anything that make me thinks I own anything is pride.
So I want us to ask the Lord, Lord please break me. Please help me. Lord please mode me. Help me to know that I'm nothing but sand, a vessel. A vessel. A vessel. A vessel in your hand. Help me to know, help me to remember that I'm nothing but a vessel in your hand. I'm nothing but a vessel in your hand. Ah, Baba, rid me of pride. Rid me of self. Rid me of every form of arrogance, Baba. Rid me of how I highly think of myself. Rid me of everything of self. Let my will be lost in thine, oh Lord. Please let my will be lost in thine.
Help me to know that I bring nothing and I go with nothing and I own nothing. Everything at my disposal I give account. Help me to live as a faithful servant. Make me a faithful steward. Help me to labor as a steward. Help me to labor as a steward. Help me to labor as a steward. Faithful steward that owns nothing in the name of Jesus. Oh Lord help us. Help us, oh Lord. Help us, oh Lord. Help us, oh Lord in the name of Jesus. Help us to labor as steward.
Ah, Baba, show us mercy. We learned that until the Lord becomes our ultimate, until the Lord becomes our ultimate, the plan and purpose of God for our lives have no resting place. Oh, Lord, show us mercy. Oh Lord, you are our ultimate. Oh Lord, you are our ultimate. Teach us how to how to reckon ourselves with this truth. Help us to reckon ourselves with this truth. Ah, Baba, help us to reckon ourselves with this truth that you are our ultimate. And until we come to that to term with that, your purpose and plan will have no resting place. We want your purpose and plan to have resting place. We want it to be established upon the earth. We want it to be fulfilled. Let your purpose and plan over our life be fulfilled. We don't want it to be dangling, looking for where to rest. Ah, Olorun o. We don't want it to be to be wasted. We don't want it to be wasted. We want the purpose and plan of God for our life to be actualized. We want the plan and purpose of God for our life to be established. We want the plan and purpose of God for our life to be fulfilled, to come to fulfillment, to come to actualization, to come to glory. Baba, please help us. Work it in us. Help us to reckon ourselves with the truth that you are our ultimate. We own nothing, we are nothing outside you. All about us is you. Help us that this mentality will be in us. Help us that this mentality we will carry. Help us that we will live by this truth. Help us that we will know this truth. Help us that our life will represent this truth. Help us that our life will replicate this truth. Help us that our life will showcase this truth that you are our ultimate. That you are our ultimate. Your purpose and plan for our life will be actualized. You will carry it out. It shall be fulfilled. It will not fail in the name of Jesus.
The gate of hell will not prevail against us. The word of the Lord says the Lord will build His church. The Lord will build His church and the gate of hell will not prevail against it. Ah, the Lord will build the church. He will build His church, He will build the righteous. Yes. Tell yourself you are the church. You are the body of the Lord. Decree over your life, the Lord will build me. Ah, I am a project, God's own project. I'm God's own project. I'm God's own project. I cannot be God will not abandon this project. The work of God, the purpose of God, the plan of God, the Lord will build. The gate of hell will not prevail against our lives. The gate of hell will not prevail against our lives in the mighty name of Jesus. In the name of Jesus. My life will not be an abandoned project. I am not an abandoned project. The Lord will not abandon His work. He will do it until until His purpose is fulfilled and actualized here on earth in the name of Jesus.
In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. I want us to pray, I want us to commit our as we round up, I want us to pray. I want us to pray concerning our our different needs, concerning the state of the country, concerning the situation all around. Concerning our at this end time where we have different different powers, workings of darkness. We are at the last days. We are at the last days. Somebody was saying something, I think it was an unbeliever, it was my husband that mentioned it to me. He said that somebody said, ah, at this time that we are, if you don't have the power of God and you don't have the power or darkness, you cannot live, oh. So that means you cannot be without without a power. But I can assure you the one in power of darkness is also in double trouble because the nation, Bible says a nation divided against itself cannot stand. Because the power of darkness, the works of the enemy are range, they will only be they will only be helping you as you think they they deceive you that don't worry there is power, come and take it. But as you have that, the one you don't have, they will go and be introducing them into your life. It has happened. It has happened very well. But there is a power, the name of the Lord. When you call upon you are in the Lord, you are you are secure because He's the controller of all powers. The Jesus is the controller of all powers. He's the controller of all power.
I want us to pray Psalm 64:2 says, "Hear me, my God, as I cry on for help from the threat of the enemy. Hide me from the conspiracy of the wicked, from the plot of evil doers." I don't want you to look at it and say I have no enemy, so we are not even talk of human. If there is human, there is a spirit working in the human. I want us to pray, I want us to pray against every conspiracy of the devil, of the evil one, forst against your life. If you say ah, there is nothing happening to me. If I take you begin to ask you some questions, you will know there are conspiracy against your life. Have you seen a situation where you want to pray and you begin to wonder of food in the kitchen, wonder of so many other things that you have done, things that you have done, you have done? It may even be your day. It may even be with somebody. Maybe plans you want to do, even be legitimate. It may even your plans, what you have to do, everything you remember when you were pressing your phone, the devil begin to bring it to your mind when you are ready to pray. That's a conspiracy, oh. In fact, the highest of the conspiracy because he knows where you are, his kingdom is in trouble. He doesn't want you to pray one hour. How can he allow that?
Let us come against every conspiracy of the enemy. In recent time, I just asked myself, O Lord help me. I resisted the devil in the name of Jesus. I have wondered in my heart thinking of where they are from. Jesus. What is all this? Something will shook me. You are praying and you still be blowing in tongues and your mind is not there. Conspiracy of darkness. Ask the Lord. Oh Lord, we cast down every thought. Bible says casting down all imagination and thought and everything that exalt itself higher than the knowledge of the Lord. Taking captive, we put them into captivity. I don't know, maybe it's only me that I began to experience that in recent time. Ah, I don't know it may be only me, oh. But I can tell you, the Lord told me, this is the conspiracy of darkness. In fact, it makes me to when I come into that and that thing began, I remember something wants to happen in the place of prayer. And that's the truth.
Let us begin to cast down, say "God, O Lord, I cast down every conspiracy, in my imagination, in my thought. The conspiracy of darkness against my life. The conspiracy of darkness over my life. I pull them down in the name of Jesus. I take my thoughts captive. I take everything about me captive. In the name of Jesus I bring them to the obedience of Christ in the name of Jesus. Devil I resist you. We resist you over our soul, over our spirit, over our mind. In every area of our lives, we resist you in the name of Jesus."
The warfare, the warfare that we we loose, eh, more they are in these places where you want to study and you see distraction. In fact, the Lord, the day the Lord made me to see that, ah, battle, battle, battle is there to loose you. I want us to ask the Lord over His church, beginning from our life, ah, every conspiracy of darkness. In the name of Jesus, scatter! Bible says they will take counsel, it shall not stand. He will speak the word, it will not come to pass. Said they will gather, they will scatter because it is not of the Lord, because the Lord is with us. Every conspiracy of the evil one against our life, against our soul, against our establishment, our standing right, our standing true, our standing firm in the Lord, in the name of Jesus be scattered in the name of Jesus! Be scattered. Be scattered.
Ask the Lord, please help me to be sober. Hey, in the name of Jesus. Help me to be sober. Help me to be vigilant. Help me to be sober and vigilant, knowing that my enemy, the devil, my enemy, roams about seeking whom to devour. Help me to be sober. The kingdom of darkness will not devour me. Will not devour you. Will not devour us. Oh Lord, help us to be sober. Help us to be vigilant. Help us, oh Lord, to run into this rock. To run to this rock that is higher than us. In the name of Jesus. The towering rock of safety. Lord, we run into you. We run into you in Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
I want us to pray for Nigeria. I want us to ask the Lord that the Lord will arise and will cause His enemy to be scattered over the nation Nigeria. Oh Lord, arise. Oh Lord, arise. We know we there are global problem economically. Oh Lord, show us mercy. Let us ask the Lord, help our leaders to get it right. Help them take decision that will be in the best interest of the people. Help them take decision that will not be for their own selfish interest. Oh Lord, please arise for our country. Arise, oh Lord. Lead our leaders right. Lead our leaders right. This is not the matter of the person that is there. Bible says there is no authority that be. Ah, God please give us authority. Do not give us the authority if it is that will plunge us into trouble. And He said we should pray. If you pray for our leaders, so that we may lead a quiet and peaceful life. I want us to pray for them, oh Lord. Lead our leaders right. Please help them to do the right thing. The heart of kings are in your hand. You are the God of the universe. The God of all nations. The God of Nigeria. Ah, you put those people there for from for from from whatever angle how they got here. What is important is that nobody can be anything except you have ordained it. But Lord, we call upon you please. Let them take decision that will be for the benefit and the interest of the people. To the benefit and the interest of the nation. Ah, show them the way to go. Lord, please give them the wisdom that is from above. Baba, please use their arms, use their head, use their mouth. Take over, take over. We disallow the working of darkness. We pray the devil will not use them. In the name of Jesus the devil will not use them. Daddy we ask, oh Lord, take over their heart. Help them to take decision that will be to the benefit, to the interest of the nation, to the interest of the people in the mighty name of Jesus.
And lastly, I want us to pray to for for the citizen, including you and I. All our leaders are taken from the society, from among us. At times we have when we only talk and point at leadership, the citizen are worse. I want us to pray. Lord, pass through our land. Oh Lord, please pass through the nation Nigeria. Give us oh Lord sanity. As you visited Nineveh and you brought everyone to their to their knees. Pass through our nation. Change our mentality. Change us. Change us. The place of prayer is a place where even the impossible that you cannot even think about how possible it is. But you Lord the God of all possibility. Lord, change our people. Lord, change our people. You have caused a nation and even their animals to repent, to turn to fasting. They fasted and repented. A nation, not just a family. A people. Ah, you can do it again. Do it in Nigeria. Daddy, please do it in Nigeria. Pass through our heart, pass through the land, cause revival to break forth. Change the heart of the people from selfishness, in justice. Thank you, oh God.
I want us to begin to appreciate the Lord. Let's thank Him, oh Lord, the Lord that answers. The name that we have run we have run into again. Thank you Jesus for answer to our prayer. Thank you for gift, for miracle. Thank you for granting our request. Thank you, oh Lord, we are grateful. We worship and exalt you. Thank you everlasting Father. Father, we worship you.
We are grateful, oh Lord. We are grateful, oh Lord. We are grateful, oh Lord. Hallelujah for you have done for us. Hallelujah, we are grateful, oh Lord.
And so Heavenly Father, we are grateful. We thank you. Thank you for the working of your spirit. Thank you for your spirit helping us to pray. Thank you for answers to our prayer. Thank you before we ask, you hear us. While we speak, oh Lord, you answer. Oh Lord, we thank you. Thank you, Holy Spirit. Thank you, Father for we know testimony will follow. Oh Lord, we return all glory to you. Thank you because we will come back to give you glory. Thank you for you will do exceedingly, abundantly, above what we can we have asked or think or imagine through your mighty power that is at work in us mightily in the name of Jesus. As we go this evening, your presence will never leave us. You will cause us, oh Lord, to continue in your presence, continue in prayer. You will cause us again to gather, oh Lord, again this time next next week in the name of Jesus. Thank you, everlasting Father. For in Jesus' unfailing name we pray.
Let's share the grace together.
The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us now and forever more. Amen.
Surely, God's goodness and mercies shall follow us all the days of our lives and we shall dwell in the house of the Lord forever and ever. Amen.
