The secret path to rest

These are words of restoration and instruction in righteousness from Family Tent Ministry. May you be blessed as you listen. [Speaker 1] Lord, all glory and honor and adoration to our God again for today. We bless him for his goodness. We bless him for his mercies. We bless him for his help. It has been him and him alone, particularly at this particular period where the nations of the world are facing serious economic challenges consequent upon the coronavirus, termed COVID-19 pandemic. We bless God for his keeping us, his mercies and his grace. Particularly for his support and provisions for our lives. We are really grateful to God. Last Monday was the last Monday in the month of July, and it was a time dedicated to prayers. Our exhortation was from the book of Luke 18:1, where Jesus told a parable to his disciples with the intention that they may know that men ought always to pray and not to faint. Why should men pray always? Why should men not faint? Why should they not give up in the place of prayer? We realized from that prayer meeting that it is because God's ways are not like our ways. The ways of God are such that while you are thinking God is not there, God is actually there. The Israelites thought God was not there, so they gave up praying and started complaining, whereas God was there. He was really, really there and he fought for them. The second reason we saw was that God answers our prayer in respect of his perfect plans for our lives. So many times, when it looks as if God is not answering, God is actually answering according to his promises in the book of Isaiah, that before they speak, I will hear. Before they call, I will hear. While they are yet speaking, I will answer. And that became the basis of our prayer last week, and we thank God for the working of his spirit among us, helping us to be able to pray and to pray through. Today, which is the first Monday in the month of August, there is this issue I want us to discuss together, and I normally tagged it, or I coined it, "The Secret Path to Rest." The secret path to rest. Particularly this period where there seems to be restlessness. Honestly, this period, there is so much fear in the hearts of people. There is so much worry. There is so much anxiety as to what the future holds. There is so much overwhelming concern, particularly about what do we eat, what do we drink? It is a common concern today because of the global recession that the nations of the world are going through. And for us in Nigeria, for so many people, either with the government or particularly with the organized private sector, there is so much uneasiness. Salaries are not paid. Businesses are folding up. And it looks like everything is bleak. But I am telling you, there is this adage in Yoruba, they will say "B’á bá gún’yán nínú ewé, tá bá bọ̀ ọ̀bẹ̀ nínú èpò èpà, ẹni má yó, á yó." What I am saying is that despite the situation, if we hold to God and we can hear and we can discern what God is saying, we can know what God is doing and we can key into what he is telling us to do, honestly, even in the midst of the seemingly difficult situation, God is still providing and is sustaining his own. And that became the background for our topic of today: The Secret Path to Rest. Let us have a word of prayer. King of glory, almighty God, we commit ourselves into your hand again for today. We are asking, we are praying that, Lord, your spirit will work among us in the name of Jesus. Lord, those of us that are physically present in the meeting today and our brethren that are linking up online from various locations, Lord, we are praying: meet with us all today in the name of Jesus. Oh Lord, quicken our spirits. Lord, help us to see and to see clearly what you are doing. And grant us the courage, the strength to do likewise in the name of Jesus. Help us, our Father. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. I want us to look at Psalm 27. Psalm 27 is a very, very popular Scripture. Even the verse one is a popular song in some quarters. I read from the NKJV version. Psalm 27:1-6 "The Lord is my light and my salvation; Whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; Of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against me To eat up my flesh, My enemies and foes, They stumbled and fell. Though an army may encamp against me, My heart shall not fear; Though war may rise against me, In this I will be confident. One thing I have desired of the Lord, That will I seek: That I may dwell in the house of the Lord All the days of my life, To behold the beauty of the Lord, And to inquire in His temple. For in the time of trouble He shall hide me in His pavilion; In the secret place of His tabernacle He shall hide me; He shall set me high upon a rock. And now my head shall be lifted up above my enemies all around me; Therefore I will offer sacrifices of joy in His tabernacle; I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord." [Speaker 1] We will stop at verse six. And just in one minute, I just have this impression. Can we just pray with the verse six? That, Lord, let my head be lifted above my enemies all around. Cause me that I may offer sacrifices of joy in your tabernacle. Cause that I will sing, yes, I will sing praises to the Lord. Can you just pray? Can you just pray for yourself? Lord, let now, now, now, even now, we are talking about now. He said, "and now." That was just the impression I got. And now, Lord, let my head be lifted up above my enemies all around me. By enemies, I am not talking about an individual. It can be a challenge. It can be a problem. It can be an issue. It can be a burden. You want to say, Lord, let my head be lifted above my enemies all around me. Oh Lord, let it be that I will offer sacrifices of joy in your tabernacle. Lord, I want to enter into your tabernacle and offer sacrifices of joy, sacrifices of joy. Yes, I want men to join me in your tabernacle to rejoice with me and celebrate with me. Lord, yes, in your tabernacle, in the house of the Lord, I want men to join me as I offer the sacrifices of joy in your tabernacle. And Lord, I will sing. I will sing. Yes, it is an assurance. Yes, Lord. Yes, I will sing. I will sing praises to the Lord in the tabernacle of the Lord, in the tabernacle of the Lord. Lord, it shall come to pass this year, 2020. It shall come to pass in the midst of this difficult period. It shall come to pass in the midst of this hard time, where things seem to be difficult, things seem to be hard, things seem to be challenged. Lord, that my head will be lifted up, that I will be lifted up. And in your tabernacle, I will offer, I will offer sacrifices of joy, sacrifices of joy. I will bring sacrifices of joy, and I will offer, oh Lord, song of praise in the house of the Lord. Yes, this will be my portion. This will be my portion. This will be my portion. Thank you, everlasting Father. Oh, blessed be your holy name, our God. In Jesus' name we pray. May the Lord answer you according to your cry and your expectation in the name of Jesus Christ. May he send strength to you out from Zion in the name of Jesus. May the rivers of joy that flow through the city of God again flow through the situations and your circumstances and cause joy to spring forth in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank you, everlasting Father. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. That was just an impression that came upon me, even though that was not part of what was prepared for today. Let us now look into our discussion for today. Psalm 27:1-6. And in a way, I want to bring verse four and make it verse one. I want to make verse four verse one. As we go on, you will understand why I am making it like that. I will make verse four verse one because the matter that was raised in verse one, verse two, and verse three actually is a consequent. It is happening because of the verse four. The psalmist in verse one to three said, "The Lord is my light and my salvation; whom shall I fear? The Lord is the strength of my life; of whom shall I be afraid? When the wicked came against me to eat up my flesh, my enemies and my foes, they stumbled and fell. Though an army encamp against me, my heart shall not fear. Though war may arise against me, in this I will be confident." Now, what the psalmist was saying in verse one to three is actually as a result of the verse four. Now, let us look at the verse four. In the verse four, the psalmist said, "One thing I have desired of the Lord, that will I seek: that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord, and to inquire in His temple." Now, what the psalmist is saying is that there is one thing that he has desired of God. He was not looking for two things. The psalmist was looking for how many things? One thing. He said there has been this one thing that I desired of the Lord. And of course, that one thing was something that I seek after. It was my life pattern. It was something that I grew up with. I will soon be showing us in the life of David. It was something that was the pattern of my life. I have patterned my life after this one thing. This one thing is that if it is just possible that I will dwell where? In the house of the Lord. If it is just possible to be in God's house. And then, if I am in that place, what are the two things that I will be doing there? He said, one, to do what? To behold the beauty of the Lord. That is, there is this one thing I am looking for from God. The one thing I am looking for is that every day of my life, every time I rise up every morning, when I wake up daily, every time I am rising into my day, let it be that I can see God. Not only that I can see God, I can also inquire from God. Baba, how will today go? Should I do this? Should I do like this? Lord, which trade should I enter into? Lord, which business should I start? Lord, I am thinking of traveling to Lagos to start something. Lord, can I go and do it? Can it be that God can grant me this only this one thing? That every day of my life, when I wake up, I can see God and I can inquire from him. I am not looking for two things all my life. I am just, if God can just do this one thing for me, I will not have problem again. If God can grant me this one thing, this is the one thing, the only thing that I desire and I am seeking that God will do for me. David said this is the one thing. And honestly, you can connect these things in several ways with the Lord Jesus. In the story of Mary and Martha, what did Jesus say? "Martha, Martha, you are cumbered and troubled about many things. But how many things are needful? One thing." And that is the part that Mary chose. Which part did Mary choose? She sat down at the feet of the Lord and was inquiring from him. Apostle Paul said, forgetting every other thing, how many things do I do? One thing. One thing. What is the one thing? That I may know him. If you go to Exodus 32, 33, and 34, I show you another elder. I have shown you New Testament, the Lord Jesus. I have shown you an elder, Apostle Paul. Let us look at Moses. In Exodus 32, 33, 34, what did Moses say? Moses said, "God, if your presence will not go with us, Lord, just leave us here. Just leave us where we are. Don't carry us from this place." Why? God said he would do what? He would send his angel to go with them. They will go to the promised land, but he himself will not go with them. What did Moses say? Said, "Lord, we are not interested in that promised land. Forget the matter of the promised land. The matter is this: if your presence will not go, let us die here." And in the 34, he said, "Lord, you have said you love me and that I have found favor before you, but you have not even shown me yourself." Said, "Now, God, show me your glory. I want to have one-on-one encounter with you." God answered, "I will make all my goodness to pass before you. But me, you cannot see. Anyway, I will hide you somewhere as I pass, so you will see my back." Have you seen what these men were seeking for? How many things? One thing. Now, for you to know that David was not just speaking out of context in this matter, David was explaining his life. Let us take a track back to the life of David to look at this matter that we are discussing. You remember David as a young boy. You know he was a young boy, a lad. They call him a lad, a boy. He was not yet a man when the case of Goliath came up. We remember the case of Goliath, right? Now, when David was to confront Goliath, do you notice the statements of David? He said, "Let no man's heart fail because of this Philistine. Your servant will go and will confront him." What did they tell David? What did the king tell David? He said, "Look, all the life of this man, he has been a man of war. You, you are only a boy. You cannot go and face him." What was David's answer? David said, "You don't understand, King. When your servant was keeping his father's sheep, and the lion came against the sheep, your servant will go after these things and he will kill them." He now told us the secret. He said, "The Lord who delivered me from the hand of the lion and the hand of the bear, that same Lord will deliver me from the hand of this Goliath." So what does that tell you? Who normally give David instruction on pursuing the lion? The Lord. That was why when eventually Saul said, "Put on my armor," he said, "Your servant have not proved this one. The one that I have proved in God's presence is catapult. That one, in God's presence, when I use it to go after the lion, God says, 'Oya!' and I just fire. It works. Let me use the one that I have tested in his presence." And he went with that thing. How many times did he shoot the catapult? How many times? Once. And mysteriously, the only vulnerable part in Goliath, that is where the thing went. So you know it is not just catapult. So the same God that he knew with the lions and with the bear was the same method that he used with Goliath. When later David grew up, he has now learned how to use bow, arrow, and sword, right? He was anointed king and the Philistines, they came against him. 2 Samuel 5, chapter 6, chapter 7. They came against him. When David learned that they came against him, please, where did David go? David did not go to the battle. Where did he go? He went to inquire. "Baba, the Philistines are against me. What do I do?" And what was he told? "Go out against them as they are coming and you will prevail over them." What happened? He went. So what gave the victory? Was it the bow and the arrow? No. Another time, they came against him again. Did he go again? He did not go. Where did he go again? He went back again to inquire. "Lord, they have come again. What do I do?" God said, "This time, don't go out against them like that. This time, you are going to come from behind. Just go by the mulberry tree and just stay there and be quiet. Once you hear the footstep of a man, pow, pow, pow, pow, going, then know that I have gone ahead of you. Follow me immediately. You will win the battle." I am showing you something about David. The matter of one thing I have desired of the Lord. One thing. One thing. Have you seen that this one thing is the one thing that answer to all things? It is a one thing that does what? That answers to all things. We are talking about our topic is "The Secret Path to Rest." The secret path to rest. There is a secret path to rest. There is a secret path. There is a secret path. And before we now come to look at 1, 2, 3 of Psalm 27, I want to refer you to another elder that deal with this kind of issue at a very critical time in his life. It is also a very, very familiar story. But sometimes, you see, because these things are familiar sometimes, I normally pray something to God. God, don't let me become familiar with the Scriptures. It is a prayer I pray every day because sometimes when we think that things are familiar, you don't see God again in them. They just become stories to you that you just read and you leave. But when every day Scriptures become new, that is the secret of the Lord's presence. It is a very familiar story, and I believe we all know that story about Isaac in Genesis 26. I believe we are familiar with the story of Isaac in Genesis 26. When there was famine in the land, just as there was in the days of Abraham. There was a famine in the land beside the first famine that was in the days of Abraham. And Isaac went to Abimelech, king of the Philistines, in Gerar. Then the Lord appeared to him and said, "Do not go down to Egypt. Live in the land which I shall tell you." Verse three: "Dwell in this land and I will be with you and I will bless you. For to you and your descendant I will give all these land and I will perform the oath which I swear to Abraham your father. And I will make your descendant multiply as the stars of heaven, and I will give your descendant all this land, and in your seed all the nations of the earth shall be blessed because Abraham obeyed my voice and kept my charge, my commandment, my status, and my law." So Isaac dwelt in Gerar. Have you seen something? Where was Isaac's destination? Where was he going? Where was he going? Egypt. Where did he dwell? Gerar. What led to dwelling in Gerar? One thing. One thing. What was the one thing? To behold the beauty of the Lord and to do what? To inquire in his temple. That was the one thing. And can you just pray at this critical moment? Because we are in a very critical time, I am telling you. That God, please, everywhere you need to interrupt my head project for your project, Lord, please do them for me. Lord, everywhere you need to interrupt a project emanating from my head for a project emanating from you, Lord, please interrupt my project. Lord, everywhere you need to interrupt a decision that is proceeding from me for a decision that is proceeding from you, Lord, go ahead and do it. For we are in a critical time again like in the times of our fathers. There is famine in the land. There is drought in the land. It is a critical time, and there was a project in the mind of Isaac, let me go to Egypt. But that was not a project emanating from the Lord. Can you pray and say, God, decisions, projects, ideas, issues, Lord, that needed to be interrupted for a divine project, for a divine agenda, for a divine decision? Lord, don't hesitate. Lord, don't hesitate with my life. Lord God Almighty, don't hesitate. Lord, interrupt, interrupt, interrupt everything that is personal. Interrupt everything that is me. Interrupt everything that is self. Lord God, open the door of a divine project. Open the door of a divine idea. Open the door of a divine decision. Let there be an emergence, an emergence, an emergence of God's idea, an emergence of God's project, an emergence of God's decision. Let there be an emergence for my life in the name of Jesus Christ. Push me, Lord, cause me, Lord, push me, put me in the path of my rest in the name of Jesus Christ. The secret path of rest. We are talking about the secret path to rest. There is a secret path. And I am saying that secret path is beholding his beauty and inquiring in his temple. And you are saying, Lord God Almighty, interrupt everything that is me. Interrupt everything that is self. Interrupt it in the name of Jesus. And Lord, let there be an emergence, an emergence, an emergence of God's idea, an emergence of God's project, an emergence of God's decision. Let there be an emergence for my life in the name of Jesus Christ. Speak with authority! Speak over your life, speak to yourself as a child of authority. In the word of the king there is power. In the word of the king there is power. Speak with authority. Speak over your life, speak to yourself. In your word there is power. Don't doubt your confession. Don't doubt your confession. Speak the word. Speak the truth. Speak what God is saying. Speak it! Speak it! In the name of Jesus we pray. You know what God just spoke to me just now? I just remembered that what God told Joshua and Caleb and other spies. He said, as you have spoken in my ear, so I will do to you. Those who said they will die will die. The two who said they will live will live, and their children will inherit the promised land. Can you say something to God this period? Can you say something? Can you speak in confidence? What are you saying? What are you telling God? What are you speaking about your situation? What are you saying? What are you speaking? What is God hearing you say? What is God hearing you speak? It is a prophetic hour, brethren, it is a prophetic hour. I am seeing God doing something prophetically. I am seeing God doing something prophetically. It is a prophetic hour even though it is a teaching time, but it is a prophetic hour. It is a prophetic hour. It is a prophetic hour. What are you saying with your tongue? What are you saying with your mouth? What are you speaking about your situation? As I hear you speak in my ear, so I will do to you. As I hear you speak, so I will do to you. Oh Lord God Almighty, a thousand shall fall to my side, ten thousand to my right hand, it shall not come near me. Only with my eye will I behold the reward of the wicked. I shall see my opportunity. I shall key into them for me. 2020 is a year of courage. It is a year of harvest. It is a year of lifting. Yes, in the midst of this difficult time, it shall be my time of harvest. I will harvest, I will harvest, and I shall be lifted. I shall be lifted. I shall be lifted. High and my household, I shall be lifted in the name of Jesus! In the name of Jesus! In the name of Jesus! I shall be lifted. I shall see what God is doing. I shall see opportunities. I shall see chances. I receive courage. I receive courage. I receive courage to march into the impossible. I receive courage to do the impossible. I receive courage as you instruct my heart in your presence. As you instruct my heart in your presence. This year will require courage. The Lord keeps reminding me of what he told us at the beginning of the year: "Ọdún yìí, ọdún ìkóyà. Ẹni tí ò bá ní ìkóyà kò ní ìkóre. Ẹni tí ò bá sì kòre kò ní ìgbéga." [Background chanting] Those that will have harvest are those that have courage. Those that will have courage to do what God wants them to do. I want you to pray and say, God Almighty, I am asking you, Lord, that God you will grant me courage, courage, courage as I enter into your presence, as I inquire of you and you are gracious unto me, as you are gracious to speak to me, as you are gracious to give me instruction. Lord, furthermore be gracious unto me. Grant me courage. Grant me courage. Grant me courage. Grant me courage. Grant me courage. Grant me courage. A farmer in famine. That was Isaac. A farmer in famine. A farmer in famine. And there was large harvest. He was a farmer in famine. I want you to pray. Lord grant me, Lord grant me courage. Thank you, Father. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. Genesis 26:6 says, "So Isaac dwelt in Gerar." You need to understand what is going on. Gerar, what was going on in Gerar? Famine. And mind you, Isaac was a farmer. A farmer cannot farm in famine. You cannot farm inside drought. Can you farm inside drought? I have been waiting, I have been trying to plant the second set of corn. And we have been waiting, waiting, waiting, waiting. The reason I have not planted that second set of corn is that we are waiting for rain. Not to talk of where everywhere is dry. And when you look towards Egypt, because of the River Nile and the overflowing of River Nile, Egypt always have green things. They don't experience the desert issue. And so Isaac as a farmer felt that, ah, that side is better. Let me cross to that side. And you know sometimes it can just be natural to us. This thing I am doing is not working. It is like what is working now is this one. Let me cross to this one. You understand me? It would just be a natural thing. It was just natural. It happened you are planting tomatoes as a farmer, and you see that this period it is not growing, but yam is growing. What will you go and plant? Naturally it will be yam. But something interrupted Isaac. He became a farmer in famine. It was a dangerous step. But it was not dangerous because he had inquired of the Lord. And I just want you to pray. God, give me courage to do the impossible. As you instruct my heart, Lord, grant me courage. Lord, courage to do the unusual. Sometimes in famine, what you may need is to do the unusual. But the unusual will be something God will instruct you. God, grant me courage that as you open up yourself to me, because I believe, I believe that as you make up your mind to seek the Lord, the Lord will speak to you. I believe that as you make up your mind you are saying, Lord, what do I do? How do I do? The Lord will help you. We have prayed last week that God be gracious unto me. I am trusting the Lord that through this eighth month of the year, we have just, you know, if you count the months we have just about five months to go and the year will be rounding up the year. But through this time that the graciousness of God will speak for his people. I believe it with all my heart, that impossible thing, unusual harvest will take place. I believe it. I am waiting for it. I am experiencing it and I am trusting the Lord that I am going to see it, I am going to enter into it. And I am telling you too that you need to pray. That Lord, as I seek your face, but I am asking you to also pray. That Lord as I seek your face and you begin to drop seemingly impossible into my heart, Lord, grant me courage to do the unusual as you instruct my heart in your presence. As you instruct my heart in your presence. This year will require courage. Lord, I receive courage, I receive courage, I receive courage to march into the impossible. I receive courage to do the impossible. I receive courage as you instruct my heart in your presence. As you instruct my heart in your presence. Lord, I receive courage, I receive courage, I receive courage! By the reason of this meeting, by the reason of this pronouncement today, by the reason of your hand upon this meeting, Lord, I receive courage to do that which you are doing, to do that which you are saying, to follow your instruction, to follow your instruction. Lord, I receive graciousness to hear what you are saying. Lord, I will see my land. I will see my land of sowing, and I will sow in the land. I will see my land of sowing and I will sow in that land. I will see my land of sowing and I will sow in that land, and I will reap, I will reap in the name of Jesus. Thank you, everlasting Father. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Verse 12 says, "Then Isaac sowed in that land, and reaped in the same year a hundredfold; and the Lord blessed him." Do you see the Bible repeating "that land, that land, that land"? It is deliberate. That land. It is not another land, it is that same land. It is that same place. It is that same thing, that land, that land. Isaac dwelt in that land. Isaac sowed in that land. May that land appear to you. That land where you will sow, may you see it. That land, that land, that land. By the graciousness of the Lord you will understand it. It is a difficult time, but it is also harvest time. It is a difficult time, but brethren, it is also harvest time. Is that not look contradictory? You will be thinking the time of plenty will be the time of harvest. But God says it is a difficult time, but also harvest time. And I take you back to the twelve spies. They saw the same thing. They experienced the same thing. What did they see in the land when they went to spy the land? What did they see? They all saw giants. Is that not true? Ten came back and reported what they saw. They were not lying. It was what they saw. When they saw giants and they looked at themselves to the giant, they were like what? Like grasshoppers. So they came back and they reported what they saw. "See, we cannot take over the land." And you might be reporting the same thing this period: salaries are not paid, this and that, economy is crashing, that is going on, this is that, this is that. You might be just like that, folded, discouraged, empty, and the year will pass on and the year will end like that. That was for the ten spies. They reported what they saw. But two of them saw opportunities in what they saw. May you see the opportunity God is giving you. May you see the opportunity God is giving you. By the word of the Lord I pray today, you will not miss your chances. You will not miss your opportunity. You will take advantage of it in the name of Jesus. Thank you, Lord. Hallelujah. We took an example in Isaac, and we were just to take that example to go back to Psalm, but I saw the Lord doing something different. What I thought is just to make reference to this, but I keep hearing the Lord within me, the Holy Ghost keep pressing on me the direction in which we were. I believe because God want to do something, and I believe that thing has been done. I believe something has been settled in someone's life. I believe God's intervention is already in our lives. I believe God has gone ahead to do something. But I want to beg you. I want to beg you. When God move in the prophetic, you must understand something: your expectation is your purchasing power. Your expectation is your purchasing power. When God says "I will do," then you must expect. If somebody tells you that tomorrow I will be giving you five thousand, you will expect. You will begin to expect. You begin to put your mind towards what I have said, whereas God said we should not trust in a man. He said we should trust in me. So when God now speaks to you, you must expect. Expect! As you stay in his presence, expect that he will be gracious to you. Expect it! That is one thing that makes a difference in a lot of people. Some people don't know how to contain the rain that falls. They are baskets. As they just experience it in God's presence, it just go out of their life in that presence, why some people learn to be containers. They contain it. They carry it! And what helps you to carry it is expectation. When you enter the place of your quiet time, expect that God, I want to behold your beauty. You will be gracious to me. Expect that he will speak. And as he's telling you something to do, note down and begin to implement. If you don't know how to start, you can. Bible says in multitude of counsel there is safety. Seek counsel. God is giving me this idea. God is giving me that idea. How do I start? Expect. It is your purchasing power, and I believe that as you expect, as you wait on the Lord, as that expectation is a sign of faith, it is a sign of faith. The woman with the issue of blood had an expectation: "Like if I can touch the hem of his garment, what will happen to me? I will be well." She had that expectation. Go to God's presence with expectation. Do your quiet time with expectation. Read the Bible with expectation. Be expecting! Be expecting! These things, they are not logic and they are not... they are principles of God. God did them before and he will do them again. We will be among those who see the giant, we see opportunities in the name of Jesus. The other ten people were consumed, but two people... and look at what God did for them. When Caleb was eighty, he was still as strong as when he was when he was forty. That is supernatural. Because God said "I will do it." May the supernatural override your natural. Amen. May the supernatural, the supernatural... there's something you call overwriting. "Do you want to overwrite the file?" May supernatural of God overwrite your natural in the name of Jesus and become a permanent sustainable blessing in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank you, Father. In the name of Jesus Christ we pray. And Lord God Almighty, as you deployed the supernatural in time past, you can do much more even in our dispensation. Lord we pray, in every area of our lives as we have asked of you tonight, as we have decreed, oh Lord, you will deploy the supernatural into our situations, into all areas, even the spiritual life. We need the supernatural. We need the Scripture to be open to us to have understanding. We need the supernatural to know the will of God. We need to even understand the Scripture. Lord, we need nothing but the supernatural for us to be different, to stand out, oh Lord, in our generation. Deploy it, release upon our lives, release upon our endeavors, release upon us in the name of Jesus. And help us, oh Lord, to always come with you with expectation. Help us to come expecting with faith. Help us to seek you with assurance in our hearts that you are the rewarder of them that diligently seek you. Father we thank you because we know you will do more than what we have asked in the mighty name of Jesus. Thank you for your son that you have used. We pray, oh Lord, that the source of the supernatural into his life never cease in the mighty name of Jesus.
