[Speaker 1]
Almighty God, we are grateful unto you. We thank you for your mercies. We thank you for your love. We thank you for your goodness. We thank you for your grace. We thank you for all who you are and all that you are. We bless your holy name, our God. We give you praise, we give you glory, we give you honor, we give you adoration. Thank you, everlasting Father. Thank you, almighty God. Thank you, oh Lord our God, for another opportunity again to gather. Thank you, our Father, for bringing us into this 15th day in the month of December 2025. Lord, we are really grateful. Accept our thanks in Jesus' name. And Lord, as we fellowship together, the scripture says our fellowship is with the Father and with the Son. Oh, precious Lord, we pray, let your Spirit work within us in the name of Jesus. Let there be an entrance of your word. Let your word give us light and understanding, instruction and directions in our hearts in the name of Jesus Christ. Thank you, blessed Father. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
Hallelujah. We have been considering the topic: The Wisdom of God. And we have journeyed and have traveled severally on that topic. And last week we were looking at the wisdom of God versus the wisdom of man, particularly we were looking at the origin, the origin of human’s wisdom. All this thing you call the wisdom of man, how did it originate? Where did it flow from? And we saw the origin last week, where it originated from. But I wouldn’t know just before I move on whether our brethren who were around last week who want to say one or two things about what they learned or some things that came to them afresh or a testimony following the Bible study. I wouldn’t know which one, but is there anybody having something to say? Okay. All right. So, let’s have you, Lalu. Let’s have you. What is it that you have to tell us? A testimony, a point of lesson, something that was a blessing to you. So, let’s have you.
[Lalu]
Thank you very much, sir. Praise God. Last week, by the grace of God, it was an eye-opener for me again never to trust in my own wisdom because last week, by the grace of God, I was able to see the futility of my own wisdom. And I was able to see that even the wisdom that I have in myself does not have the interest of myself at all. It is a wisdom that the intent of that wisdom is for destruction, never for my own advancement. And I realized that the only wisdom that actually meant well for me at every point in time is the wisdom of God. And also last week, I came to a point to understand that there is something that God didn't infuse into the creation and the formation of man, which is the knowing. So, that knowing, it was in the prerogative of God because he is the only one that can handle that knowing of knowing the knowledge of good and evil and yet not be influenced by it because the moment man come in contact with that tree, it is forbidden for man to continue in that state. If man had tasted the tree of life in that state of knowledge and evil, knowing good and evil, then it would have been a colossal disaster. So, God taking them out of the Garden of Eden was an act of mercy to redeem mankind. And we also realized that what Jesus actually promised us is that this tree of the knowledge of good and evil, the tree of life that man was forbidden from taking was actually something that would keep us refreshing ever in the hereafter. So, those specific points stood out for me and brought me into a point of understanding that I must never, ever rely on my own understanding. And it makes Proverbs 3:5-7 to be more clearer.
Proverbs 3:5-7:
"Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths. Be not wise in thine own eyes: fear the Lord, and depart from evil."
And I saw the understanding of that, never lean on this your own understanding because it does not mean well for you from the get-go. So, I bless God for last week’s teaching. It was able to bring me to that point of understanding that I can't trust in it. It is futility, only to rely on the help of God and his wisdom. Praise God.
[Speaker 1]
Amen, amen, and amen. Thank you so much, Lalu, for that. Is there any other person having something to say? Okay, so we want to move on. We want to move on. Yeah, we were able to see, in fact, even though he was highlighting his point of lesson, but that is just the key of the things we said last week. When God created man, God created man in the image of God and in the likeness of God, but he was not like God knowing good from evil. And for him to remain in that image of God and in that likeness of God, he doesn't need that knowledge of good and evil. He doesn't need it.
If we must be—because you realize again that I’m trying to—maybe I’m taking summary, but I’m also kicking into today’s message. Because when you look at Romans 8, the Bible says something about us. The Bible says as many as he foreknew, he also predestinated to be conformed to the image of the Son. So, what is the ultimate end of our calling? It is to be in the image of the Son. And you will notice that when God created man, man was in that image, he was in that likeness, and honestly he never needed the knowledge of good and evil. He never needed it. So, to be in the image of God, to be in the likeness of God, man don't need the knowledge of good and evil.
Now, when Jesus came, it became very clear that what God want to do through our Lord Jesus is again to conform us to the image of the Son. So, you see the matter of image, image, image, image repeating themselves. And to be conformed to the image of the Son, you will notice something too about the Son. Look at John, the book of John. Please open to the book of John, John 5. I want us to read verse 19 and then verse 29 and 30. If you are there, please use the microphone and read.
John 5:19:
"Then answered Jesus and said unto them, Verily, verily, I say unto you, The Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do: for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise."
Yes. Verse 29 and 30.
John 5:29-30:
"And shall come forth; they that have done good, unto the resurrection of life; and they that have done evil, unto the resurrection of damnation. I can of mine own self do nothing: as I hear, I judge: and my judgment is just; because I seek not mine own will, but the will of the Father which hath sent me."
Thank you. What do you notice about the Son? What do you notice about the Son? So, are you seeing—I’m trying to show you something. Are you seeing that the Son is also saying that, "Look, I don't lean on this thing"? You see somebody who is in perfect connection with God, he was in perfect connection with God. He said, "Look, I can do nothing of myself. I don't do anything by myself. All I’m doing, okay what is he doing? I do it. What is he doing? I do it. What is he doing?" That is how the Son was doing things.
So, what is flowing from the Son? Nothing. Again, he was taking judgment and people were wondering, "Why are you taking judgment like this?" What did he say again? "Of myself I can judge nothing. As I hear, so I judge." My question is, how do you judge? How did you judge your career? How did you judge your location? How did you judge the sister you married? How did you judge the relationship you are inside? How are you judging? How are you taking the judging? How? These are very important things. Jesus Christ said, "As I hear, so I judge."
And you see the import of this is so crucial because we saw clearly last week that immediately man became like God, knowing good from evil, man could no more remain with God. So, what is the implication of that? That is where we are going today. Now look at it. Because we are trying to journey into—last week I said we’ll look at the origin. We have seen the origin. I said this week we’ll be going to how it operates. How this human wisdom operates. On what it operates. What is the wheel that carry the human wisdom? That’s what we want to look at.
Now, and I’m trying to connect some things for you. Now, when man don't have that knowledge, man was in the garden, he was alive. When man got that knowledge and God said, "Ah!" God said, "Man has become like one of us, knowing good from evil. Lest he stretch forth his hand and eat of the tree of life, let’s drive him out of the garden." And so he was driven out of that garden. Now, let’s look at it. God said, "In the day you eat you will die." The death, what was the death that they died? Of course they died. Now, let’s look at it. God said in the day you eat you will die. The death, what was the death that they died? We saw that the death was not a physical death because Adam still married, gave birth to Eve, gave birth to—so, God wasn't talking about a physical death. So, what was the death? The death that took place in them was that there was a detach.
How do we know this death? How do we know that man was dead? Number one, you notice that man could no more stand the presence of God. There was this sense of condemnation. He was hiding himself. Isn't it? He was hiding himself. Now, there is something again. God now said, "Man has become like us, knowing good from evil." So, let’s look at it. Let’s look at it closely. What is the implication of knowing good from evil? What’s the implication? What is special about knowing good from evil? What is the key thing about knowing good from evil? What is the key thing?
The key thing about knowing good and evil is the ability to act independently. Notice Jesus said, "I can do nothing of myself." He said it, "I can do nothing of myself." So, what life was Jesus living? A dependent life. If he knows what to do, the knowledge of good and evil, then he can do of himself. I’m trying to make you see that when man become perfect, a perfect man, because Jesus is the picture, he gave us an example to follow in his step. He said a disciple, when he become perfect, will be like his master. So, when we become perfect, how will we be? We will not be able to do anything by ourselves.
Are you getting something? So, which means what actually God was saying is that the day you eat this thing, you will no longer be able to live a dependent life. There will be something else you will be able to trust in. There will be something else you will be able to follow. You will have a capacity in you, and honestly you don't need that capacity. Please, if the Bible say, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart, lean not on your own understanding, in all your ways," in how many of your ways? Now, if the Bible say, "In all your ways," what does it mean to acknowledge him? Isn't it to depend on him? You want to take this one, "God, what do I do? Is this okay? Yes, it's okay. Do it." This, what do I do? Say in all, not some. Because one foolishness I’ve seen today is that it is when people come to marital junction that God’s will become important. That’s when the will of God, the will of God, the will of God. But in their career, in their everyday life, God does not matter to them.
God want to, in all our ways, God want to be acknowledged in all our ways. It means when we become fully perfect, we will not be able to do anything of ourselves again. It means actually maturity, aliveness, the extent to which you can depend on God is the extent of eternal life in you. Are you getting the point I’m making? The more you can do things by yourself is the picture of the reality of your deadness.
Now, how does this flow? Let’s look at how it flows. Let’s look at some things. Take for example. Adam was asleep when Eve was made. Isn't it? And you know that sleep was a sleep of death. Sleep of death, that is the use of anesthesia. God was the first surgeon who gave anesthesia and the person slept then the operation started. They removed the bone, they do everything, when they were through, he woke up again from the anesthesia. You get the point I’m making. So that's how medical science understand they should make you sleep before they do their operation. Now, the Bible says he slept. Mind you, sleep is a temporary death, while death is a permanent sleep. Now, temporarily he was dead. Temporarily.
But that death that he died was such a deep one because it was a deep sleep. It was the type of sleep that that woman slept, maybe comparable to the one that prostitute slept, that a child was shouting, "Eh, eh!" and she did not wake up until the child died. You know that kind of sleep. Because if a child is struggling under you, I don't know, you should wake up, unless you have used Valium. I don't know what she used. But the point I’m making is it was not just an ordinary sleep.
Now, when God was through, God brought Eve to Adam. And we saw that Adam said something. He said, "This is now bone of my bone, flesh of my flesh. She shall be called woman because she was taken out of me." And was there any issue about that? Was there any issue about that? Was it exactly what God did? Was it exactly what God did? So, who was the source of that knowledge? God was the source of that knowledge. And then the next verse now says, "For this reason, a man shall leave father and mother."
Now, that words there, you could say that words, who said for this reason a man shall leave father and mother and be joined to his wife? Who said so? Look at something. I want you to study Bible very closely. Because I told people that it is in the scripture that we have life and it will do us a lot of good if we give attention to scriptures. Please, go to that scripture. Genesis 2. I want to call your attention to something. Genesis 2, let’s look at it very closely. Let everybody open their Bible. Regardless of the translation, let’s look at that place very closely. Are you in chapter 2? Please look at verse 23. Who was speaking in 23?
Genesis 2:23:
"And Adam said, This is now bone of my bones, and flesh of my flesh: she shall be called Woman, because she was taken out of Man."
Are you sure it is Adam? How do you know it is Adam? Good. So, the reason why I want us to look at that closely is because we must not—wherever the Bible is silent, we must be silent. We speak where the Bible speaks. That's why someone was asking me that, where did Eve get his wife? I said on the matter on which the Bible is silent, we are silent. That is faith. But of course, if I want to answer your question, you should know that Bible don't necessarily give record of the birth of female. You will notice that when we talk about Jacob, except at a point when they mentioned Dinah, you will know that Dinah was born. The twelve sons of Jacob, they don't make reference to a daughter. I say so we can understand that there could have been birth that references were not made to. But in any case, we are silent where the Bible is silent.
And number two, principle of interpreting scripture is that we don't use an obscure scripture, something that is not clear, to explain an obvious scripture. For example, "And the woman ate and gave to her husband also that was with her." People have said that Adam was with her when Satan was deceiving her. And so Adam was part of that sin. But the Bible spoke clearly in 1 Timothy 2:14 that Adam was not deceived, Eve was. So, it is clear that they were not together. Even though we cannot explain that of what happened obscurely in that place, but we have a clear scripture. So, we don't use obscure to explain clear, we use clear to explain obscure. That’s the principle of biblical interpretation.
Are you understanding me? Now, in the verse 23, it is not obscure who was speaking. Who was speaking in verse 23? Adam. We are not assuming it. It’s not a logical conclusion or an inferential statement. It’s a categorical statement of the Bible. He says, "And Adam said." Why did he say? "This is now bone of my bone, flesh of my flesh. She shall be called woman because she was taken out of man." Isn't it? So it was Adam who said that.
The source of that knowledge, we are come to see is God. Because he was not part of the whole thing, but the knowledge was there that that was what was done. Where did it come from? God. How do we know it came from God? Look at the next verse. What did the next verse say? So, the next verse is resting—do you make "therefore" as a beginning of a statement? So why is "therefore"? Because the man said. Please note. It was a man who said, "This is bone of my bone, flesh of my flesh. She shall be called woman because she was taken out of man." There was now a "therefore," that is, a statement premised on that statement. So who is speaking?
Genesis 2:24:
"Therefore shall a man leave his father and his mother, and shall cleave unto his wife: and they shall be one flesh."
So who now said "therefore"? Because he said "therefore shall a man leave father and mother and be joined to his wife and the two shall become one." So who now said "therefore"? Ordinarily it’s Adam. Go to Matthew 19. Let us read from verse 4.
Matthew 19:4:
"And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female,"
And said, "Therefore shall a man..." So who spoke in 24? God premised his statement on Adam’s statement. I’m showing you that it is one person. That is man. So, man don't need any other source of knowledge. God is the source of his knowing. He doesn't need any other knowing. We are talking about the source of man’s wisdom, why you must never depend on that wisdom because you were not created with it. You were not created to use it. You don't need it for your survival. You don't need it in any way.
The operation of that knowledge was an aberration from your creation. It's an aberration from your perfection. It's an aberration from your eternity. It's an aberration from your wellness. It's an aberration from your goodness. It's an aberration from your abundance. It's an aberration from everything that God intend for your life. Look at all the plans that God intend for Adam. It was that knowledge that took Adam away from them. Everything that God intend for your life, that knowledge is what will take you away from it.
You don't need it. I’m trying to make you get—I’m showing you the connection, that it doesn't mean that Adam don't know what he was doing or he’s just a moron. No! There was a source of knowledge. Jesus is not a moron. Jesus could relate to people, but he said the Son can do nothing of himself. Telling you that there is a source of what he is doing. There is a source of what he—there is a source. The source is the Father. He wasn't a moron. Look, for you to know that he wasn't a moron, he could do otherwise. Do you know that? At a point did he not say that, "This cup, I wish it could pass over me, but not as I will, but your will be done"? The Father is already showing something and that is the source of knowledge. If Jesus leave that source, he would have fallen out of everything God intend for his life. That is what is happening to you.
That was what happened to Adam. I’m showing you the connection between God and Adam. I’m showing you the source where human wisdom came from, that thing you call your wisdom, your understanding, what I think, what I know, what I feel, what I like, that thing, I’m showing you that originally you never had it. Originally it was not intended to be part of your life. You were not created to use it. It was not part of what would give—it was everything God intended for your life. You know that if Adam and Eve did not go into that foolish error, they would have still been alive here today. All of us would have been together, would have still been relating. He knows what to eat, he knows what to eat. He was not a moron. There was a source of knowledge.
And that knowledge was God because you see God premises statement on telling you that when the man said it was also God that was speaking. That is what I’m trying to make you see. So, Adam’s statement was God’s statement. God’s statement was Adam’s statement. That is what I’m trying to make you see. That God can be your source, the wisdom of God. That is what Jesus was saying that "as I hear, so I judge. I can do nothing of myself." My knowledge, my knowing is my Father’s knowing. I don't have anything. If you think I am, no, I don't lean on this thing. I have a clear understanding that when I lean on it is my death. You know he came as man, very man. But he come to show us how man ought to live. So he left an example that man if you want to keep enjoying God, you don't need to do anything of yourself.
Because he left us an example that we should follow in his step. He said a servant, when he become a student, when he become perfect, will be like his master. How is his master like? He does nothing of himself. So, Jesus was showing us how we can enjoy the abundance that we had originally. Adam was in abundance of everything until there was now a source, another knowledge, there was something. And when he now became like that, God said no, no. No man can serve two masters. Are you getting it? No man can serve two masters. He’d rather serve this and deny the other, so let him go, let him go. And so he left that place.
Now, so what I’m therefore trying to make you see is we have been able to see therefore, we saw something very clearly last week. Human wisdom versus God’s wisdom. We are looking at the wisdom of God. And we saw that the wisdom of God is when God speak. When God have not spoken, there is no wisdom. We have seen that. Until God speaks to you, you can never be wise. We have seen that.
Now listen. Now listen. What was the source of human wisdom? We saw somebody, who was that person? Satan. What did he do? He spoke. Please don't forget, when God speaks, that is the wisdom of God. Satan spoke. Hallelujah. Hallelujah. Satan spoke. What did he speak? He spoke another wisdom. Am I correct? There was a wisdom. What is the wisdom of God? The wisdom of God, God in his wisdom have arranged that he is man’s wisdom. If man wants to know what to do, God is the source. And that is why you will notice, when he said "elephant," was there any issues? When he said "goat," I’m just using that, we don't know exactly the word he used there, but as he was naming the animal, was there any issue? He said, "And that was the name," why? Because the source is God. Are you seeing that? Are you seeing that? There was a perfect harmony, God was the source. That was the name, that was the name. When he said, "Bone of my bone," God said, "Therefore, shall a man leave father and mother," it was a perfect harmony between the two of them.
But listen. When he said, "I heard your voice and I knew that I am naked," what did God say? "Who told you? What is the source?" Ordinarily, are you following me? What? Ah, come. Every other thing, I am the one telling you. You don't know what I don't tell you. Hallelujah. May that become your life. Can you pray to God that, "God, bring me to a point where I only know what you are telling me"? "God, deliver me from myself. Bring me to where I only know what you are telling me. Bring me to where I don't know any other thing." When they say do you, "I don't know. Do you know that? I don't know." So what do you know? "God said." God bring me to the point where what I know is what you are telling me. What I know, what I know. What becomes my wisdom is you. Lord, Lord! Let it be that what becomes my wisdom, what becomes my wisdom is you. That what I know is what God told me. Do you know that this thing can kill? Eh, and so what do you know? I know that by his stripes I am healed. Ah, do you know that? Oh, I don't know, but I know! May it be that what you know, oh talk to God, talk to God, somebody talk to God, cry to God and say God please help my life. Deliver me from myself. Deliver me from this acquired death that I have acquired. We have acquired something, the knowledge of good and evil. But that knowledge is our death. That thing is not—it's an aberration from whatever God want to do with our life. It's an aberration from—from your eternity. It's an aberration from your wellness. It's an aberration from your peace. It's an aberration from your progress. It's an aberration from your goodness. It's an aberration from your wisdom. It's an aberration. That thing that you are thinking is good is an aberration to your abundance. Oh, that you may know the way of God. That your knowing may be God. All that you know about your career, may they become only God. All that you know about your marriage is what God told you. All that you know about your health, may it be what just what God told you. All that you know about your finance is what God told you. All that you know—oh cry to God, cry to God this evening, cry to God. Cry to God, say God please, God please deliver me from myself. Deliver me from myself. Bring me to my perfect state. Oh God break me, break me, break me, break me. God break me, break me, break me, break me. Break me, break me, use me. Lord break me, break me, use me. Lord break me, break me, use me. Lord break me, break me, use me.

[Speaker 1]
Thank you, blessed Father. Blessed be your holy name, our God. Blessed be your name. Blessed be your name. Thank you, Jehovah. Thank you, mighty God. Our Father, we commit ourselves to your hand today. Our eyes on you, oh Lord. Our eyes on you, Father. Our eyes on you. Our eyes on you. Ah, Lord, Lord. No wonder in your wisdom, you have made it that man will never find you by their wisdom. Ah, because they never needed that wisdom. They never needed it to find you. It was never, it was never. Adam was in perfect harmony with you without that wisdom. So we can never find God by that wisdom. We can never—because without it, we were in harmony with God. So you design in the cross that man will never find God by their wisdom. In your wisdom, you made it impossible for man to find you by their wisdom. You have made it impossible that by the engagement of our intellect, the engagement of human sagacity and reasoning, we will never find you. It is only on the power of inspiration and revelation that we can find you. Oh, precious Father, our soul, Baba, we pray. God, let daily experience inspiration. Inspiration, inspiration, inspiration, that we may live, that we may live and not die in the name of Jesus. Thank you, eternal Father. Blessed be your name, our God. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.
Let’s share the grace together in fellowship. The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with us now and forevermore. Amen.
