Time and Season

And incidentally, it is going to be the episode that will be the final episode for 2025. The next time we will be talking of Singles Club, it is going to be in 2026 by the grace and the mercies of God. It is so exciting actually to see that 2025 is gradually rounding up and we want to thank God for preservation. We want to thank Him for keeping us, for helping us through January, February, March, April, May, June, July, August, September, October, November, and now we are in December, the 12th month of the year and of course, the last month that climaxes the year 2025. Our God alone be praised. As we come together this morning, I want to welcome everybody. We who are here physically, our brethren who are joining us on Telegram, our brethren who are joining us on Mixlr, you are all welcome. We trust the Lord again that as we share together again this morning, it will be a time of refreshment from the Lord in the name of Jesus Christ. Let us have a word of prayer as we commence this morning. In doing that, this song just keeps coming to my mind. Maybe I will sing it once or twice and then we pray. I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever. I will sing of the mercies of the Lord. I will sing, I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever. I will sing of the mercies of the Lord. Oh with my mouth, with my mouth will I make known thy faithfulness, thy faithfulness. With my mouth will I make known, I make known thy faithfulness to all generations. I will sing of the mercies of the Lord forever. I will sing of the mercies of the Lord. Immortal, invisible God, invisible and invincible. God only wise, we worship you this morning. We give you praise, we give you glory, we give you adoration. We thank you for the privilege of gathering unto you this morning. And Lord, we pray that God, with every one of us everywhere we are, Lord, you will meet with each person in the name of Jesus Christ. Our Lord and our God, our eyes look up unto you and we pray that Lord, you will walk in our midst this morning. You will speak to our hearts this morning. There will be definite encounter for us as individuals and as a group in the name of Jesus. Thank you eternal Father. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen. Now, we are having before us a very important topic for the Singles Club for December. Today, the 6th of December, and I believe most of you must have seen the topic: Time and Season. Time and Season. The Bible said something in Ecclesiastes which I believe we are all very familiar with about time and season. In Ecclesiastes 3:1-8, it says, "To every thing there is a season, and a time to every purpose under the heaven: A time to be born, and a time to die; a time to plant, and a time to pluck up that which is planted; A time to kill, and a time to heal; a time to break down, and a time to build up; A time to weep, and a time to laugh; a time to mourn, and a time to dance; A time to cast away stones, and a time to gather stones together; a time to embrace, and a time to refrain from embracing; A time to seek, and a time to lose; a time to keep, and a time to cast away; A time to rend, and a time to sew; a time to keep silence, and a time to speak; A time to love, and a time to hate; a time of war, and a time of peace." And when you look at this scripture, the scripture is making us to see that there is actually nothing going on under the heaven that it is not something that heaven did not put in place. It says, "For everything there is a season and a time for every purpose under heaven." Another translation says, "A time for every purpose under heaven." So there is season and there is purpose. There is season for everything and a time for every purpose under heaven. And while the Bible says this, the Bible also made us to see in Psalm 1. In Psalm 1, let me open that here. Psalm 1, I read from verse 1. It says, "Blessed is the man that walketh not in the counsel of the ungodly, nor standeth in the way of sinners, nor sitteth in the seat of the scornful. But his delight is in the law of the Lord; and in his law doth he meditate day and night. And he shall be like a tree planted by the rivers of water, that bringeth forth his fruit in his season; his leaf also shall not wither; and whatsoever he doeth shall prosper." Now, the Bible is trying to make us see something very important. That actually when people consecrate themselves to God, when people dedicate themselves to the Lord, when the word of God, the counsel of God, become a matter in the life of anybody, that person will begin to bear fruit. But again, he is going to bear it in season. I'm just trying to point your attention to the matter of time and season. Time and season. Let's now turn our Bible again to the book of Genesis. The book of Genesis. If you look at the book of Genesis, you will notice something about the order of creation when God was ordering creation. Look at what the Bible says. I want to go quickly to verse 14 of Genesis 1. "And God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of the heaven to separate the day from the night; and let them be for signs, and for seasons, and for days, and years." Another translation of that verse can be very surprising to you when you compare the translation. Now, I want us to look at how this translation compare just to bring out some important things from that scripture. Genesis 1:14 says, "Then God said, Let there be lights in the firmament of heaven to divide the day from the night; and let them be for signs and seasons, and for days and years." That is if there was no light in the firmament of the heavens to divide the day from the night, there is going to be a problem. What is the problem? There will not be signs, there will not be season, there will not be days, and there will not be years. Everything will just be one block. But there was a need to be able to say, "Oh, the sun has gone up. The sun came down. The moon is now shining. Monday is gone. We are now in Tuesday. Oh, like we are speaking just now, November is gone, we are now in December. December is going." Something is making us to be able to determine those things. What is that? The sun rises, the sun goes down, the moon comes up and give as often as we see this changes. What are we counting? We are counting day one, day two, before you know we will be counting one month, we will be counting one year, we will be counting five years. The point I'm trying to make you see is that actually the 24 hours day that came as a result of the light that is in the firmament of the heavens, by heavens here you know we are talking about sky. The sun and the moon that are in the sky and the stars, what are they to help us do? They are the ones helping us to say day one, day two, day three, day four, day five. As far as God is concerned, there is no day one, day two, day three, day four. It is just day. There is no something going down to bring up new thing. No, no, no. Rather, it is just eternity, unchanging, unending. Everything there fixed and everything are just the way they are, they were at the beginning. That is how they are still today because there is nothing like sun going up and coming down to determine day and night. I'm trying to help you to get something very clear. That actually the matter of day one, day two, day three, "Oh, it is now dry season oh, let me begin to do this in my farm. Let me begin to do that in my farm because of so so thing. Or it is now rainy season." All of those things that you talk about, the truth is that they are things that pertain to the earth where God has placed what in the sky? What did God place in the sky? God placed the sun and the moon to help you to determine, to count, to be able to say "I am now 30 years old. I am now 40 years old. I am now 50 years old. I am now 60 years old." Something is helping you to count it. So God deliberately created those lights so that we can count days. That's the truth of the matter. So we can count days. But what I want you to understand, what I want you to see about times and season is that when you talk about determining they will be for sign, for day, and for night, I want you to think very well. I want you to note something very crucial. That that determination of being able to say day one, day two does not apply in any way to God. Please, I just want you to get that. It doesn't apply with God. Those things, they were placed in the sky to determine that on earth. The sun and the moon, they are in the solar system so that they can help man to do those things. That's why you can say "Ah, time is going, time is going, I need to do this." That's why that thing was created. But please get a clear understanding. The plans of God, the things that God had in mind to do, the way God had in mind to do them, they were not determined in time. They were determined before time. I mean before your 24 days hours. Before there was 24 days hours, God had been creating. "Let there be this, let there be that, let there be so so so, let there be this." So it is important for you to get something clear. When God is now creating time and season, God wasn't creating something for himself. God was creating something that will govern the man that is going to live on earth. He can have understanding of time. However, let us take another scripture again. Time and season. Time and season. This time we are going to Daniel. Let's go to the book of Daniel. Prophet Daniel. We want to see what God was discussing with Daniel and understanding that happened and how Daniel responded back to God when that thing was revealed to him and what Daniel said. It happened that Nebuchadnezzar had a dream. When he had that dream, the dream was taken away from him. He could not remember the dream. So he could not even tell anybody what the dream was about. But this is Nebuchadnezzar insisting that if the so called wise men of Babylon, the men who practice sorcery, witchcraft and everything, or all the other men that are newly appointed, Shadrach, Meshach, Daniel, Abednego, that they will all be killed except one of them will be able to tell him his dream. You can see a very funny situation. How do you dream and you don't remember? And then you are asking somebody to come and remember your dream and tell you the interpretation? The magicians said, "Ah, we don't understand you. You tell us your dream, then we will tell the interpretation." He said, "No, no, no, no. You must tell me my dream and then tell me the interpretation." Then the men now said, "Look, oh king, nobody have ever asked this kind of things from the magicians. Ah, what kind of assignment are you giving us? Who do you think we are? We don't mind all the sorcery and all the magic that we are doing. We are still human beings oh. We are human beings oh. The person that will be able to do that are the gods. And we, we are not gods. We are mere men." Oh, when God wants to show the foolishness of the things of this world. Look at how God confounded men who call themselves men. They are now saying that "Look, we are mere men." But they said they are magicians, they are powerful, they can do anything. God confounded their wisdom. They now said the only person that can interpret these things are the gods. And then hallelujah. Hallelujah. Any time I read that story I'm just excited. This story always excites me. It's something that just makes me see awesome God, mighty God. Our God is awesome. Do you know why I'm saying this? Even though it is not actually where I'm going. But there's no time I read this story that this thing don't keep it just come to me. When Nebuchadnezzar had this dream, they said that, "See, we are not spirits, we are human beings. If you cannot tell us the dream, we cannot interpret for you." But of course, they said it belongs to the gods. But actually it belongs to God who reveals secrets. And then the servant of the most high God, that was Daniel, God revealed the thing to him. Do you remember again that later on, Nebuchadnezzar, he had there was another encounter again. This time he could remember the dream. He saw a tree that the height reaches unto the heaven, the sight to the ends of the earth. And then a watcher came down and said let the tree be cut down, let seven times pass on it and all of that. This time he remembered the dream. He now went again to the magicians. He said "Come and interpret for me. You said if I can remember the dream you will be able to do something. Now, this one I remember the dream. This is the dream, come and interpret." What happened again? They still could not interpret. I'm just trying to make you see the almightiness of God. Blessed are those people whose God is the Lord. The people who follow after other gods, their sorrow cannot but multiply. I want you to know that there is only one God. There is only one God who determines all things. There is only one God who confounded whatever people think they are. They said they can do anything, they know all secret, they have all the spiritual powers. At one point there was no dream, they said it belongs to the gods. At another point God brought the dream, they could not interpret again. I'm just trying to make you see that darkness is not sovereign. They only work within the context in which God permits. If you are thinking darkness is sovereign, you are making a big mistake. Only God is sovereign. He determines what happens to any other thing. When he gave them dream and he does not want them to interpret it, the spirit in them could not do anything. May you realize that your God is awesome. May you realize the greatness and the mightiness of your God. May you understand that there is no need to seek any other thing lower than God. That you have God, you don't know what you have. Many of us, we just begin to look for some lower things, look for some. Hey, look, I'm telling you, enter into true communion with God. Enter into true fellowship with God. Enter into true relationship with your Father and see whether you will not understand life. May the Lord help us in the name of Jesus Christ. But that's not actually where I'm going anyway. But any time I read this story, it always comes back like that. So of course, when Daniel saw that Nebuchadnezzar is going to kill everybody including them, they had to start praying and then the thing was revealed to Daniel. And that is where I'm going actually. From verse 17, the Bible says, "Then Daniel went to his house, and made the thing known to Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah," that is Shadrach, Meshach and Abednego, "his companions: That they would desire mercies of the God of heaven concerning this secret; that Daniel and his companions should not perish with the rest of the wise men of Babylon. Then was the secret," hallelujah, "the secret was revealed unto Daniel in a night vision. Then Daniel blessed the God of heaven." And Daniel answered and said, please note, please note what the Bible says. "Blessed be the name of God for ever and ever: for wisdom and might are his:" wisdom and might belong to him. Look at what follows. Verse 21, "And he changeth the times and the seasons." Hallelujah. Are you seeing something there? What is our topic? Time and Season. But what does the Bible says about God? It says God changes time and season. That's actually where we are going, that's what we want to dwell on. I want you to understand something about times and seasons. And I'm trying to make you see the reason why. Oh, deeper, deeper, deeper Lord I seek. May you go deeper. May you see, I've come to make you understand something. Your confusion in life is not because life is so confused. It is because you have not taken time to go deeper with the God who understand all the mysteries of life. Life is not so confused to those who relate intimately with the God who understand the whole maze of life. That is what I'm trying to, I'm trying to draw you to. Now we are talking about times and season. We saw the first thing was that to every thing there is a season and every purpose under the sun, every purpose have its own time. We saw actually again that seasons, timing was something created by God for this side of life, it's not for eternity. Now we are seeing a third thing about times and seasons. That actually time and season is actually not independent. When you see anything in time and you see anything in season, the matter actually is not about the time and the season. The matter actually is about the God who changes time and season. Maybe I should explain that a little further. Let me let me finish what Daniel read in that place. What he said in that place. "He changes time and season. He removeth kings, and setteth up kings: he giveth wisdom unto the wise, and knowledge to them that know understanding: He revealeth the deep and secret things: he knoweth what is in the darkness, and the light dwelleth with him." Hallelujah. Now, you know that when Daniel went back to the king and Daniel was to interpret, give the king the interpretation. He said he told the king that the king saw a very big image. The head of gold, the chest of silver, the tummy area and the thigh area of bronze, the leg area of iron, the foot area of iron and clay. That is what Daniel saw. And Daniel was telling the king that "See, the head of gold is actually you, king. After your own generation, after you, another kingdom is going to rise that will be stronger than your own, but not as majestic as your own. You know silver is stronger than gold, but it's not as glorious as gold. After that again something stronger will come, that is bronze stronger than silver, but less glorious than silver. After that again something less glorious than bronze, that is iron, but stronger than every other thing." In that dream Daniel said that as iron breaketh everything into pieces, so that kingdom will break all the kingdoms that were before it, it will break them into pieces. That is iron, the strongest of the four, but not as glorious as all the predecessors. It is that iron that will now remain. It will remain and then it will be mixing with clay, but they will not be able to become one. So it will actually be iron mixed with clay. Now, Daniel was saying something very serious. And he was going to interpret that to Nebuchadnezzar. So what exactly is he telling Nebuchadnezzar? I want to make you understand why Daniel said God who changes time and season. Why did Daniel first say "Blessed be the name of God, he changes time and season"? Why was that the first thing that Daniel had to say before he now went on to say other things that he said is what I'm trying to make you see. Because Daniel saw a God from the interpretation. He saw the God who set up kings and remove kings. That kings don't just come, there is a God who set them up and remove them. Kingdoms don't just rise and fall, there is a God who make one to rise and want to fall. There is a God who replaces them. There is a God who already determined the nature of how these kingdoms are going to be. There is a God what I'm trying to make you see is that Daniel is saying something very strong. That listen, time, time is merely eternity in installment. I will say and break what I'm saying down. I want to help you young man, young woman listening to me. Daniel is making us to see that what you are calling time and season is actually that time is expressing what is already eternally set. Some things have been determined eternally. But so that we can relate to eternity, God created time. You know we can say, "Ah, when were you born?" What will you say? "I was born November 7 or I was born May 5. I was born this 1935, 1924." How are you able to relate to that? It is because there is day, night so you can count. But actually as to before you were born, God knew you. While you are in your mother's womb, he has ordained you to something. What I'm trying to say is that it is you who have for you to understand is why you God is allowing you to count today, next tomorrow. But actually from the place of God, everything is now. Everything have been determined now. There is no tomorrow, everything is now. Eternal now. Everything is now. There's nothing like tomorrow, no, no, no. Everything is just now. So before you were born you were known. So it was not when you were born that God is now knowing. Why am I to make you understand about times and season? It's something very deep. That see, you need to understand something. This is how the matter came to me. I was traveling down one day from my workplace, I was coming home. I normally travel, take about two hours journey to get to my workplace and two hours back. So one day my eyes saw a particular billboard and it is written on that billboard that it is in Yoruba language. It is written "Oba ni igba." "Oba ni igba." That is time is king. Time is supreme. And what that translates to mean is that look, everything is about time. Time is the supreme thing. Whatever it is, it is just a matter of time. And honestly, ordinarily looking like that, looking at that, there's nothing really wrong with that. But about months later, the Lord called my attention that "Look, you need to understand something." It came again in Yoruba language. He says that "Olorun l'oba igba." You know the first one I said is "Oba ni igba." It came as "Olorun l’oba igba." What that means is that God is the Lord of time. You know at first said time is Lord. Then he now came back as "No, you are not getting it right. Rather, time itself has a Lord, and that Lord is God." And then as I was meditating closely on that, that was how the matter I'm discussing with you now began to unfold. And I'm trying to show you something young man, young woman. I'm trying to make you see the need for you to properly understand time and season. You see, time and season, it is not a matter of chance. It is not a matter of change. No. Rather, it is God who changes time and season. When you say, "Oh, things have changed. It has changed with time." No. Rather, God changed the time and the season for something that was there before to go and then God brought another one again. He set up kings and he removed kings. So it's not as if time is changing things. No. God is changing time and season. Hallelujah. God is the one who changes time and season. They say, "Ah, don't worry, it's a matter of time." It's not a matter of time, it's a matter of God. It is God who changes time and season. When you see "Ah, do you know that one time it was like this? Na wa o. The time of this thing eh, time have changed everything." Time did not change anything. Rather, God changed the time for something, he brought another thing again, he brought another thing again. That is what Daniel was telling Nebuchadnezzar. That see, there is a God who changes time and season. Anything you see set up, then goes down and come up and comes down, someone is changing them. It is God who changes time and season. How blessed you are if you connect with that person. How blessed you are. Are you seeing how blessed you are? If you take time to connect, to relate, to consecrate yourself? Oh the hymn writer, his song is just coming to me. "Consecrate me now to thy service Lord, by the power of grace divine. Let my soul look up with a steadfast hope and my will be lost in thine. Draw me nearer, draw me nearer, nearer blessed Lord, to the cross where thou hast died. Draw me nearer, draw me nearer, nearer blessed Lord." Are you getting something? I'm trying to make you see something. Look, we need to we need to reprogram the way we think. We need to reprogram our mind and begin to appreciate better why the Bible says "Be transformed by the renewal of your mind." We need to reprogram our mind the way we think. We need to understand the reality of life. We need to get some things very clear. We need to stop chasing shadows. We need to stop beating the air. We need to like Apostle Paul said, we need to go straight to the mark. We need to get things very clear. I'm trying to make you see that all these spirit of all these spirit of divination, spirit of this, spirit of that, [inaudible] spirit. You will see people when they begin to run from prophet to prophetess, what do they want to do? They want to know their future. Everybody want to understand time and season. Everybody know that there is something about time and season. But I'm showing you that that thing that is about time and season is the God of eternity. That thing, that mystery, they will say "time is a mystery". I've heard people say that. "Hey, this life na wa o. Ah! Do you know that things just change eh? Eh, at one time eh, this boy na useless boy o for the street. Look at him now oh, he's the one controlling everything." People who are looking at things and they will be wondering is because that mystery about time and season is what the Bible is saying. It is what the Bible is saying. Look, please, turn turn your Bible. I'm trying to show you something. Something very, very, very, very important. It's just exactly what the Bible is saying when the Bible tells us point and blank in 1 Corinthians chapter 2. This was the very text that we used to open up this year, January 2025, our first meeting. Go back and listen to it. Our very first meeting. And I'm really wondering that God is calling us back again as the year is closing to this matter. Honestly, it's an amazement to me. Why you are thinking that okay, okay this one you are now you are now through with it, God is saying "No, you are just beginning with it." You are just beginning with something. Look at 1 Corinthians. What I'm trying to make you see is just very, very clear. Look at what the Bible says in 1 Corinthians chapter 2. It's a very popular scripture, I've we have read this scripture at different times. It says, "But as it is written..." 1 Corinthians chapter 2 from verse 9. "But as it is written..." no, let me take it from this. It says, "But we speak wisdom... the secret and hidden wisdom of God in a mystery which God hath ordained before the ages for your..." for your what? "For your glory." Are you seeing something? We speak the wisdom of God in a mystery. These are the things that God have ordained when? When? Before time. Do you see it? Before there was time. Time will now be expressing those things. Those things were there before time. It says, "Which God ordained before before before the world unto our glory." So before God created time, God have ordained certain things. Time was now created so that time and seasons, day and night, month and day, that is determined by the light that God placed in the firmament, is so that you can relate to eternal things. It's not as if there is something special about waking up and sleeping up and no, no, no. Where the real matter lie is understanding the eternal God. Because the matter were ordained before time. Time is to be given expression to them. Are you getting me? Are you following me? Now, look at it. Look at what he says. It says, "Which none of the princes of this world knew: for had they known it, they would not have crucified the Lord of glory." Do you see why I'm telling you that the princes of this world, the sorcerers, the magicians, the babalawo, the people that carry divine divination, all of these spirit, all of these people, all of these predictors, all of these analysts, all of these everybody trying to say something about time, time regarding what is to come, they don't really know it. Devil himself don't really know it. He does not. If he knows it, he won't have crucified Jesus. He won't have worked out everything. You know Jesus said, "Your time has come, powers of darkness, I will submit to you." But look at what the Bible says. The Bible says through death, he destroyed him that has power over death and took the key from him. So even Satan, the prince of all of them, the prince of human philosophy, human idea, the prince of all the princes, their oga kpata kpata, him himself does not know that they are going to defeat him through death. He does not understand what is going how time and season is going to change. He has had the key to death and he was holding everybody down. Nobody could come back to life. But when Jesus resurrected, the Bible says he led captivity captive and he gave gifts unto men. That is why the Bible says that day when he died, saints they rose with him because he led captivity captive. Satan himself did not know that what is going to happen the next moment that things are going to change. God set up king and remove king. God want to remove his kingdom, to set up a new kingdom. And what happened? By death, he who had power over death was defeated. Him himself did not understand it. What I'm trying to make you see, the things that you are running to, the people that you are running to, the powers that you are running to, they don't understand it. They don't have they cannot fully comprehend it. They don't really really have a clear picture. So but you see they can dance around it. They can dance around it. For example, look at that girl that was using sorcerers spirit and he began to speak, "These are the servants of God that have come to show the way of salvation." Was she not partly correct? She was partly correct. So there is this but she never understood that that thing that she was doing will lead to the end of that trade. If she understood that she would have kept quiet. Are you understanding me? They have they're just trying to the spirit. Look, I'm going to make you understand all of you who are who are looking to some elemental spirit of this world, who are thinking the world can help you out, who are running from pillar to post instead of becoming more and more intimate with the Holy Spirit, instead of getting and getting and going deeper and say "Holy Spirit, blessed Spirit, I have come to you, I want to fellowship with you, I want to know you." Why are you going for the crumbs that drop from the table when the table is meant for you? Because the things that fall from the table, they are meant for dogs. Dogs are not children. So those elemental spirit of this world, those things, those analysts, those things that you are running after, they don't have a clear picture. They don't have a clear picture. But this the Holy Spirit has a clear picture. The picture is clear. But look at what the Bible says. "But God..." it says, "but as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit." Look what I'm trying to make you see about times and season as I'm bringing everything together for a close. Faith. Faith. When you say "I have faith", you know what that actually means? You know Bible says that faith is what? Is the assurance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. In reality, practically speaking, actually, what you are calling faith is that by the help of God's Spirit, you are able to see what is in time. You saw it by the reason of the eyes of faith and the ears of faith. You heard it, you saw it by the Holy Spirit. And so you able to see what is to come in time. And because you are seeing that thing, that thing the Holy Spirit is showing you by faith, is what is to come at a time. Because very soon they are going to change time and season to become that thing. So you begin to hold to that thing until it comes to pass. That is what faith actually is in the real sense of it. Faith is that the Holy Spirit will now help you, because they are still going to change time. What they want to change time into, others have not seen because He's the one who changes time and season. So He makes you to travel in time, like Isaiah traveled. Do you know something just occurred to me now as I want to close. An incidence in the Bible. A man of God came from Judah. That should be 1 Kings chapter 13. A man of God came from Judah and he I want to quickly go there. It just occurred to me that I should just say that before we close this meeting. 1 Kings 13. Please, if there are questions, please send in your questions. If there are, please let's have your questions. If there are questions, please send it in. 1 Kings 13, I'm reading from verse 1. "And, behold, there came a man of God out of Judah by the word of the LORD unto Bethel: and Jeroboam stood by the altar to burn incense. And he cried against the altar in the word of the LORD," please note, please note what the Bible says, "in the word," which means he received something from the Lord. Something had happened to him, it is from the Lord. May you be a man who receive who come from the Lord. May you be a lady, a young man, a young woman, that what you carry is from the Lord. I'm talking about this matter of the Lord. I'm trying to make you see that it's about time, time and season. Look at it. He came in the word of the Lord and said, "O altar, altar, thus saith the LORD; Behold, a child shall be born unto the house of David..." I hope you know Jeroboam? After Solomon was Rehoboam. Rehoboam and Jeroboam, they were kings, they were contemporaries. So Jeroboam was in the North while Rehoboam was in the Southern kingdom. The Southern kingdom was just Judah and Benjamin, two tribes, while ten tribes now formed the Northern kingdom. All the other ones, they were under Jeroboam. Although the Levites stayed in the Southern kingdom. They did not go to the Northern kingdom since Jeroboam did not follow the altar, he made gods, he raised up a strange altar so the Levites didn't find they didn't find their relevance in that in that kingdom in that side. They had to move to the Southern kingdom. Now, look at what the Bible says. Look at what the Bible says. He said a child will be born to the house of David. Do you notice that he mentioned the name? "Josiah by name; and upon thee shall he offer the priests of the high places that burn incense upon thee, and men's bones shall be burnt upon thee." Do you see what this man said? Now, when you look at that same king about Josiah. That Josiah that was prophesied about. By the time he became he became king, look at what actually look at what actually happened and how this thing happened and people were wondering. Look at 2 Kings. 2 Kings chapter 23. 2 Kings chapter 23. We'll take it from around verse 15, 16, 17 thereabouts. 2 Kings 23. I'm just trying to make you understand something. That was 1 Kings, the beginning of the kingdom. 2 Kings, this is after kings upon kings upon kings upon kings upon kings have reigned. Now, look at what happened around I will take it from verse 15. "Moreover the altar that was at Bethel, and the high place which Jeroboam the son of Nebat, who made Israel to sin, had made, both that altar and the high place he brake down, and burned the high place, and stamped it small to powder, and burned the grove. And as Josiah turned himself, he spied the sepulchres that were there in the mount, and sent, and took the bones out of the sepulchres, and burned them upon the altar, and polluted it, according to the word of the LORD, which the man of God proclaimed, who proclaimed these words. Then he said, What title is that that I see? And the men of the city told him, It is the sepulchre of the man of God, which came from Judah, and proclaimed these things that thou hast done against the altar of Bethel." Please, that man of God from Bethel, what did he actually do? Did he travel in time? Did he travel in time or not? You can see I'm trying to make you understand something. There's going to be a king, there's going to be a time, the God of times and season. That God who determine time, who changes time and season, is going to change things. Jeroboam will not be in power, somebody else will come to be in power in in in the Southern kingdom, that person and somebody saw it and he was speaking that, he was saying that categorically. So when you say that see, coming to the Holy Spirit, what you are calling faith, that assurance of things hoped for, it is not a fake thing, it is a real thing. The Holy Spirit helps us to know. The Bible says look at that 1 Corinthians chapter 2 that we read. There is something about the Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit actually what he does is that he does he does something for you. It said, "But God hath revealed them unto us by his Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God." Have you seen it now? The deep things in time. The Holy Spirit the Holy Spirit understand the time to come. He pick those things for you, the deep things of God. He said God revealeth deep things, secret things, mysterious things. God reveal them, the Holy Spirit knows them. It said, "But what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of that man? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God." Have you seen it? That is why there is no spirit that can know the things of God except the Holy Spirit. No demon, no devil, no sorcerer, no they cannot know the mind of God. It is only the Holy Spirit. It said, "save the spirit of God. For what man knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of man which is in him? even so the things of God knoweth no man, but the Spirit of God. Now we have received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things..." So the Holy what you are calling faith, is actually that the Holy Spirit helps you to travel. You actually travel, you see what it's to be, you see how time and season will change and you begin to come by that word. He said "No, I'm not going this way, I'm going this because it's going to be like this." And people will be looking at you, "Ah, this boy look at the way he..." Look, there is a God who changes time and season. He's going to change it to that season and you are seeing that season that is to come. That is what you are running when you are running faith in the Holy Spirit. This serious implication for us believers. I can understand why now Jude said, "Building up yourselves on your most holy faith." Young man, I'm begging you, please go and build up your faith. Young woman, go and build up your most holy faith. Your faith is most holy because it is coming from the Holy Spirit. That faith is most holy. It is about the deep things of God. It is about the things that are to come. It is about times, it is about season. Your faith is not ordinary. Your faith, it is not guesswork. Your faith is not trying to understand what the thing is, trying to do some guess like sorcerers, like devil, who don't completely understand it and he was mis-targeting. It was not to kill Jesus, he went to kill Jesus. He was just mis-targeting, fire here, fire there, he was not firing correctly. And eventually when time changed, he was a loser. May you not be a loser. Don't work in the spirit of this world. The prince of this world was a loser. When you work in the spirit of this world, you will end up being a loser in time. You will end up being a loser in season because there is a God who changes times and seasons. It's not anything around you that is changing it. It is God who changes time and season. It is God who changes time and season. I want to I want to beg you, I want to appeal to you. It's exactly 11:30 now. It is God who changes time and season. And that God is your Father. That God is your Father. That God is your Father. That God is your Father. So don't just be there. Don't just stay there. Build up your most holy faith. And that is what we are closing with. Let's go to the book of Jude. That's what we are closing with. He said build up your most holy faith doing what in the Holy Ghost? Praying in the Holy Ghost. Build up your most holy faith. Let's go to the book of Jude. That's where we're that's what we are closing with today. That's how that's how the matter he closed he close the matter up for us. Talking to us as brethren and as believers. He told us what to do. He said, "But you, beloved," after he has said in verse 19, "These be they who separate themselves, sensual, having not the Spirit." Have you seen it? "These are sensual person, who cause division, not having the Spirit of God." Having talked about the godless, the mockers, having talked about those who are ungodly people among us, he now warned us, he now appeal to us that we don't need to be sensual person, doing guesswork with our senses. Using your five senses, using this, using that. No, we don't need to be sensual person. We don't need to be sensual person. He said "these are sensual person, they cause division not having the Spirit." He said, "But you, beloved, building up yourselves on your most holy faith, praying in the Holy Ghost." That's my exhortation to you young man, young woman. Be building yourself up on your most holy faith. Praying in the Holy Spirit. Connecting with the Holy Spirit. Connecting with the Holy Spirit. Ah, that is the God of times and seasons. Don't be scared about what people are saying. Don't be, don't be, don't be, don't fret. Connect to reality today. Build be building yourself in your most holy faith. That your faith is not an ordinary thing. You have been aided to see times and season and to connect with them. And before you know, He who changes time and season will change to that thing that you saw. Josiah will come, He will do this. Josiah came because the season changed, the times changed. It is not as if they are merely changing, but there is a God who is changing them. He changes time and season. He changes time and season. May the Lord help us all. May the Lord keep us in this most holy faith. I'm telling you, that is what we need today. Jesus said, "But when the Son of man shall come, will he find faith?" We need to build Look, there is so much confusion today. There is so much confusion, people are just confused running here and there. We need to build up our most holy faith. Let us pray. Lord, please help us. Lord, please help us. Cause us to wake up from our slumber. Bring us to the reality of our Christian faith and our Christian life. We are the most blessed people on earth.
