When The Lord Leads the Way

[Intro Music] Churches and fellowships cannot be more spiritual than the individuals and families that constitute them. God greatly desires a godly home. These are words of restoration and instruction in righteousness from Family Tech Ministry. May ye be blessed as ye listen. [Speaker 1] You cannot just comprehend the way God works when we look at this eternal plan. We were looking at the fact that God can pick anybody regardless of the background, regardless of the past, regardless of the circumstance around the person. God can pick anybody and make something glorious out of the person. That's what we are looking at. So, we were saying that if God could rewrite the story of people like Rahab—you still remember—if He could rewrite the story of people like Rahab. This is not somebody to say she fornicated. No. The Bible described her as a prostitute and a well-known prostitute that even the city, they know her for that. And by faith, I just want us to look at something about—please, let's go to that story. Let's go to that story. Even though I want to share a particular burden with us this evening, but we couldn't look into the details that day because we were already rounding up. But I want us to see that story of Rahab. I want us to see that story of Rahab. I want us to see something in that story of Rahab. That's Joshua. Let's look at it from around chapter two. Let's look at where the spies has a discussion with Rahab. Look at it from around verse 12. [Reading from Joshua (Dramatic Voice)] "Now therefore, I pray you, swear unto me by the Lord, since I have shewed you kindness, that ye will also shew kindness unto my father's house, and give me a true token: And that ye will save alive my father, and my mother, and my brethren, and my sisters, and all that they have, and deliver our lives from death." And the men answered her, "Our life for yours, if ye utter not this our business. And it shall be, when the Lord hath given us the land, that we will deal kindly and truly with thee." Then she let them down by a cord through the window: for her house was upon the town wall, and she dwelt upon the wall. [Speaker 1] Now look at chapter six when they were to take over the land. Verse 22. [Reading from Joshua (Dramatic Voice)] "But Joshua had said unto the two men that had spied out the country, 'Go into the harlot's house, and bring out thence the woman, and all that she hath, as ye swore unto her.' And the young men that were spies went in, and brought out Rahab, and her father, and her mother, and her brethren, and all that she had; and they brought out all her kindred, and left them without the camp of Israel." [Speaker 1] What I just want to call your attention to: when God is to visit a land, would you have expected that it will be a harlot that will save her father, save her mother, save her sisters, save her brethren, save everybody that is concerned in that house? Would you have thought of a harlot? Would you have thought of a harlot? The point I'm just trying to make from our two weeks meeting that we could not emphasize that day is the fact that the issue is not what is your background story. The issue is not how weak. The issue is not the fault in the individual. What was the thing that made Rahab a savior? What makes Rahab a savior? She saved people. What made her a savior? What made her a savior? Look at it. Go back to that chapter two. [Reading from Joshua (Dramatic Voice)] "And she said unto the men, 'I know that the Lord hath given you the land, and that your terror is fallen upon us, and that all the inhabitants of the land faint because of you. For we have heard how the Lord dried up the water of the Red sea for you, when ye came out of Egypt; and what ye did unto the two kings of the Amorites, that were on the other side Jordan, Sihon and Og, whom ye utterly destroyed. And as soon as we had heard these things, our hearts did melt, neither did there remain any more courage in any man, because of you: for the Lord your God, he is God in heaven above, and in earth beneath.'" [Speaker 1] What has happened to this woman? Can you recollect what James said about faith and works? What did he say about Rahab? Was not Rahab the harlot justified by works when she had received the messenger and had sent them out another way? For as the body without the spirit is dead, so faith without works is dead also. So when Rahab was working, what was she demonstrating? She was demonstrating faith in the God of Israel. What I'm trying to make you understand is that in the workings of God, people you think that are not, people you think are nothing, by that, the workings of God, they believe God and what happens? They were translated from who you would describe them as harlot, they became what? Saviors. Do you think there is somebody that faith in God cannot transform? Do you understand what I'm trying to say? I want to make you understand the efficacy of the eternal plans of God to raise men and to use men is something that if you are thinking it's about—okay. [clattering background noise] What I've said, and we can move on, we just believe God and we take step. The major thing today is that if we step, if we take, if we step on the word of God, if we believe God and act on what God has said, there is a doubt as to whether this thing will work. Double-mindedness. But I'm just showing you somebody. He had not heard about God from Adam. He just heard about God in the fact that God did the Red sea, God dried up Jordan. Ah, this must be the God of all the earth. I'm putting my faith in this God. And she took some action and by believing, God identified with her. By believing. What I'm saying is that brethren, there is a place today. Let us believe what God has said. Let us act upon what is written as against what is not written. There is an eternal plan. The eternal plan is to make men holy. Men can be made holy. When they are made holy on that mountain, there will be deliverance, there will be holiness, and saviors shall arise out of Mount Zion. I'm telling you it's a possibility. While you are thinking, "Anyway, let me see, maybe I'll be able to live holy, maybe I'll be able," you will be surprised upon this planet earth, men will walk again like Enoch walked. Men will walk again like Noah walked. Men will walk again like Daniel walked. Men will walk again like Job walked. Men will walk again. You will be surprised while some are thinking that, "Anyway, we don't know whether we can live above sin," you will be surprised. And from those men, saviors will arise. What I was trying to show you was that a savior arose in Rahab. She saved her father, her mother, her sister, and her kindred. She saved everybody. Praise the Lord. I want to share a burden with us today, but I felt I need to emphasize that from our two weeks discussion. I want to share a burden with us this evening and I trust the Lord that He will speak to your heart just like He spoke to my heart this afternoon. Let's look at this burden I want to share with you: When the Lord leads the way. When the Lord leads the way. And I want to begin from the very, very familiar Scripture we read. Let's go to Psalm 23. Psalm 23. When the Lord leads the way. I'm just begging you, don't forget what we said about 2018. I want to appeal to those of us who are just joining us, the first message of this year, you need to listen to it. If you have not listened to it, we want to beg you, please listen to the first message we had this year. It's the message that is guiding all other messages that we are taking this 2018. When the Lord leads the way. In Psalm 23, the very popular Scripture, King James says, "The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want." Another translation of Psalm 23:1? Another translation? [Speaker 2] "God, my shepherd! I don't need a thing." [Speaker 1] God, my shepherd! I don't need a thing. Is that what you said? God, my shepherd! I don't need a thing. Yes, another translation? [Speaker 3] "Because the Lord is my shepherd, I have everything I need." [Speaker 1] And we are talking of when the Lord leads the way. I want to show you something about when the Lord leads the way. It became a burden on my heart and I find it an expectation that we should discuss it this evening. When the Lord leads the way. This is just mid-March, we still have a long way to go this year. I pray the Lord will lead your way in the name of Jesus. The Lord will lead your way in every affairs, in every matters of your life. The Lord will lead the way. We want to look at indications when the Lord leads the way. The Psalmist just wrap it up. He said, "Because the Lord is my shepherd, I have everything that I need." Another translation? [Speaker 4] "The Lord is my shepherd; He feeds, guides, and shields me; I shall not lack." [Speaker 1] Wow. The Lord is my shepherd and there is something he said, "I shall not lack." I shall not lack. So there is something about God when the Lord leads the way. When the Lord leads the way, the Psalmist said when the Lord shepherd me, the Lord is my shepherd, I shall not want. And I want us to look at a case study in the Bible. A case study in the Bible: Exodus. When the Lord leads the way. The Psalmist said I shall not lack. I want to show you what we will not lack. Let's look at Exodus chapter 12, chapter 13, and chapter 14. Exodus chapter 12, verse 51, just the last verse there. [Speaker 2] This is the Message. "That very day, God brought the Israelites out of the land of Egypt, tribe by tribe." [Speaker 1] Yeah. King James says, "It came to pass that selfsame day, that the Lord did bring the children of Israel out of the land of Egypt by their armies." NIV says, "Like an army." So who brought them out? It was the Lord who brought them out. The Lord brought them out and He was to lead them. He was to take them through a journey. The Lord was to lead them. And when the Lord began with them, He was the one that brought them out and He began a process of leading them, of taking them through the journey. If you turn, look at chapter 13. Chapter 13, from verse 17. "And it came to pass, when Pharaoh had let the people go, that God led them not through the way of the land of the Philistines, although that was near; for God said, 'Lest peradventure the people repent when they see war, and they return to Egypt.'" Can we hear a simpler translation? Verse 17. [Speaker 3] "It so happened after Pharaoh released the people, God didn't lead them by the road through the land of the Philistines, which was the shortest route." [Speaker 1] Which was the what? Which was the shortest route. It came to pass that God didn't lead them through the shortest route. What did He do? Please read on. [Speaker 3] "For God thought, 'If the people encounter war, they will change their minds and go back to Egypt.'" [Speaker 1] God was leading them out. My prayer—wow. Can we just ask the Lord in just two, three minutes, can we just pray? God as I march through 2018, Lord lead my way. Let it be that in all my going forth, you will be the one bringing me out. He said the Lord brought them. In all my going, Lord, Lord look upon me in this matter and be merciful unto me. It is not of him that willeth, nor of him that runneth, it is of the Lord that sheweth mercy. Can you say Lord, let my life receive this mercy? That Lord, in all my going out, you will be the one bringing me out. He said when the Lord brought them out. It was the Lord that brought them. That in all my going, any time I'm taking my bearing, it will be that it is the Lord bringing me out. It will be the Lord. Lord, let it be you. Let it be you bringing me out. Bringing me out. Is it in my marital life? Is it in my academics? Is it in my business? Is it in my career? Lord, in all ramifications of my life. Lord, as I march through this year, as we march on this year, Lord you are saying that our life must be within the hedge. And one thing that marks this being within the hedge is that you are the one leading the way. Lord, in all my going out, let it be you bringing me out. As each day goes, another day comes, let it be you bringing me out. Bringing me out. Lord show my life this mercy. Show my life this mercy. By providence, Lord bring me out. By revelation, Lord bring me out. By intuition, Lord be the one to lead the way. Lord, whichever way it is, whichever way you will do it. Lord look upon me, even in my weakness, carry me. Let it be you leading the way. Let it be you leading the way. Where I cannot understand, let providence help me. It was providence that helped Saul. An ass got missing and his father said go and look for it. That was providence. Lord, where I cannot understand, let providence lead the way. Let providence be my guide. Lord just in everything I'm saying, Lord lead the way. Let it be you leading the way, leading the way Lord. In every aspect of my life, let it be you leading the way. He said the Lord brought them out. The Lord brought them out. The Lord brought them out. And He said and when the Lord brought them out, let it be you Lord, let it be you. Thank you, Father. In the name of Jesus Christ, we pray. Amen. Let's continue. I just felt we should pray. He says and it came to pass when Pharaoh had let the people go, that because it was the Lord who brought them out, that He did not lead them in the way of the Philistines, although that was near. For God said, "Lest the people see war and they return." Now God was bringing them out, but God also understands these people. God understood them very well. God understood that these people, they are people that their faith, the extent to which they are holding to God, is still very fragile. You will still see what happened at the Red sea. We'll get to chapter 14 now. Immediately they saw Pharaoh coming, they just face Moses. "Is not this what we told you when we were in Egypt? We have told you, it could have been better to die in Egypt." Now look at that was just the beginning of the journey. God understood these people, that their faith was fragile, that they are yet to really know God, they are yet to really understand the God that was leading them. And so God was thinking that if this road is the shortest path, if I take them through this short path, and the Philistines they come out to come and fight, these people they will repent. They will quickly run back and run back to Egypt and say, "Ah, let us rather go and be slave of Pharaoh than to die by the hand of the Philistines." So God didn't take them through that way. Are you familiar with 1 Corinthians chapter 10? Are you familiar with that Scripture? We'll be making allusion to Scriptures as we journey this evening. 1 Corinthians chapter 10, from verse 13. Let me read it to you in the Amplified. "For no temptation, no trial has overtaken you, has laid hold on you that is not common to man. That is, no temptation or trial has come to you that is beyond human resistance, that is not adjusted and adapted and belonging to human experience, and such as man can bear. But God is faithful to His word and to His compassionate nature, and He can be trusted not to let you to be tempted and tried or assayed beyond your ability and strength of resistance and power to endure, but with the temptation He will always provide the way out, the means of escape to a landing place, that you may be capable and strong and powerful to bear under it patiently." Do you see what God did with the Israelites? When God was bringing them out, God knew that as at that time, they cannot face the Philistines. What did God do? That road looked to be the shortest, but did God lead them that way? Brethren, when God leads the way, something should be sure. Nothing in that way can be more than you. When God leads the way, nothing, nothing in that way—you see, God can be trusted. As He took them, He was the one leading the way. As He brought them out of that place and He was to take them through that journey, He said, "If they take this way, this one will be too much for them. They cannot endure that one now. Let me take them through some other way." And He took them through the way of the wilderness because that was better for them. We just believe God and we take steps. Please, I want us to look at chapter 14. And the Lord said unto Moses, saying, "Speak unto children of Israel to turn and encamp before Pi-hahiroth, between Migdol and the sea, against Baal-zephon: before it shall you encamp by the sea. For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, 'They are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in.' And I will harden the heart of Pharaoh, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honored upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I am the Lord." And they did so. When the Lord leads the way, are you seeing another element of when the Lord leads the way? What do you notice in this place? Say and the Lord said unto Moses, "Tell these people to do this, to do that." What I'm trying to make you understand is that when the Lord leads the way, in that way you will discover at different junction, at different spot, one thing you will not lack is His voice. When the Lord leads the way, you will not lack His voice. He says the Lord said unto Moses, "Tell them, tell them they should encamp here. They should stay in so-so place. They should be in so-so place." Sometimes there will be a need to encamp somewhere. There will be a need to hide somewhere. Camp in this place! They were on a journey. Stay here! When He leads the way, one thing becomes apparent: the voice of the Lord will not be missing. At different junction, there will be the voice of the Lord. You will see God say something to your heart. You will see God say, "This is what you should do." When the Lord leads the way, in the way it will not be you throughout the way. At different junction, the voice of God will show up. At some place you will hear him speak some specific thing. Very clear! "Turn!" It was clear. "Turn! Encamp!" And you look at it again. When the Lord leads the way, the Bible says something about the Holy Spirit. He says when He comes, He will remind you of what I've spoken. He will teach you all things. He will guide you into all truth. See one more thing? He says He will tell you of things to come. Are you aware of that? He will tell you of things to come. Do you notice what is happening here? God told them. The voice of God was not only lasting, there was something here. He said, "For Pharaoh will say of the children of Israel, 'They are entangled in the land, the wilderness hath shut them in.' And I will harden the heart of Pharaoh, that he shall follow after them; and I will be honored upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host; that the Egyptians may know that I am the Lord, that did so." He was telling Moses what is going to do what? He will tell you of things to come. Do you see when the Lord leads the way? I'm saying that as we journey through this year, as we move on, indications—I'm showing you things to indicate that the Lord is leading the way. Things to make you know that the Lord is leading the way. The Lord is ahead. In that way, the first thing is you will not come to a point and say, "Ah, this thing is more than me." There is nothing in that way that you will not be more than. There will be nothing. No matter how it looks, no matter where it's leading to, no matter where it's going, you will be more than it. The specific voice of God at some junction. Please, I want to beg you. Some of us are doubting that, "Will I be able to hear the voice of God?" I want you to believe God this evening. Maybe you have not heard him before speak very clearly. Believe God that as I journey in 2018, His voice will be clear. It is not by power. That's why I show you Rahab. She believed and she was transformed. It is by faith. I was speaking yesterday in the church. I said, "Look, everything about God is faith." Righteousness is by faith. Holiness is by faith. Deliverance is by faith. Hearing God is by faith. Walking with God is by faith. Without faith you cannot please God. It is by faith you obtain a good report. It is by faith you will conquer cities. Everything about God is faith. Once a man is double-minded, that man should not think he will receive anything from God. I want you to understand that God, when He leads the way, there is nothing in this way I will not overcome. Two, the voice of God will come to me. You see, you don't receive what you don't expect. Mark my words. You don't receive what you don't expect. There must be an expectation. Can we check some of people with Jesus Christ? Woman with the issue of blood. What made the flow of blood to stop? Was it Jesus or the woman? The faith of the woman. Jesus was just going. Jesus was not praying. Some of you will think that when Jesus lay His hand that the woman will be—no. Jesus was just going. For there was something in her that says, "If I can just touch." And it happened. The Centurion who said, "You don't need to come into my house. I'm a man under authority. You just speak the word. I tell one 'go' he goes, tell one 'come' he comes. You speak the word so my servant will be well." What did Jesus say? He said, "I have not found such faith in Israel." Jesus marveled. Did that man get it just the way he said it? I'm trying to show you that—somebody made a statement and I agree with the person. He said he is realizing something that faith seems to be the currency we spend in the spiritual world. He said faith seems to be the currency that when you want to buy, when you want to get something, what do you use to obtain? Faith. Faith! This is so essential. What I'm saying is that regardless of how your work with God has been before 2018, I want you to understand what God is saying this evening to you. Flush your memory of your experiences and see the reality of God. Begin to believe God to go beyond how it was in 2017. Believe God! Believe God for a deeper work, believe God for a closer work. Believe him. And I'm showing you how you will know He's leading the way. Indications, the signs you'll begin to see along the journey for you to know. He leads the way. And He told him, "Tell them he will speak of things to come." And He will tell you of things to come. I want to quickly journey into a point where we can pray this evening. Our time is virtually fast spent. Now look at their response. "Is not this the word that we did tell you in Egypt, saying, 'Let us alone, that we may serve the Egyptians?' For it had been better for us to serve the Egyptians, than that we should die in the wilderness." You can understand why God didn't make them to go the way of the Philistines. Now, and Moses said unto the people, "Fear not, stand still, and see the salvation of the Lord, which he will shew to you to day: for the Egyptians whom ye have seen to day, ye shall see them again no more for ever. The Lord shall fight for you, and ye shall hold your peace." Elements of when the Lord leads the way. What does He do? The Lord will contend with them that contend with you. The Lord did not say there will be no contender, but that the Lord will contend with them that contend with you. When the Lord leads the way, there will be contenders. He says He will contend with those that contend with you. He says they will be drinking with their own blood. They will be satisfied with their own flesh. That was what the Lord said. He said, "I will give men for your sake." That's the word of the Lord. You can see it happening here live. When the Lord leads the way, the Lord contends with those that contend with His people. One element of when the Lord leads the way is that the Lord becomes a man of war. There are spiritual battles when the Lord leads the way. Don't think there will be no battle. There will be battles, but the Lord will contend with those that contend with us. I was discussing with the singles on Saturday when we were here. I was telling them the circumstance under which I got my MSC. It was by a spiritual warfare. There will be battles in the way, but the Lord will contend with those that contend with us. Quickly we move on again to the verse 15. And the Lord said unto Moses, saying, "Wherefore criest thou unto me? Speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward: But lift thou up thy rod, and stretch out thine hand over the sea, and divide it: and the children of Israel shall go on dry ground through the midst of the sea. And I, behold, I will harden the heart of the Egyptians, and they shall follow them: and I will get me honor upon Pharaoh, and upon all his host, upon his chariots, and upon his horsemen." Look at something in the verse 15. The Lord said unto Moses, "Wherefore criest thou unto me? Speak unto the children of Israel, that they go forward." Verse 16, the Lord was still speaking, is that not? But look at what God first said. "Why do you cry unto me?" What does that tell you about Moses? That in the midst of the storm, he cried to God. And what happened in the midst of the storm? God spoke this direction in the midst of the storm. What I'm trying to make you understand is that when the Lord leads the way, let us understand that the time of the storm is not a time to fear, is not a time to run helter-skelter. It's a time to run into God. What did I say? Run into God! When the Lord leads the way, there will be times to say, "The name of the Lord is a strong tower." When the Lord leads the way, don't think there will not be time where you will cry and shout unto God and because He's leading the way, in the midst of that shout, you will receive direction. Element of when the Lord leads the way. Some people say there are things and I will shout to God and I will still remain confused. No, maybe God was not leading the way. When the Lord leads the way, when the mountain seems too high and we cannot climb, and the valley seems too low and we cannot go down, and the way seems too difficult that we cannot move, it is the time to say, "God, where are you?" and when we cry, what happened? That we receive further direction. You know in the first instruction Moses was not given—in that first one, He said, "I will be honored over Pharaoh." Now it became clearer. This is how I will be honored. Stretch your rod! Tell them to move! Do you see there was a further instruction beyond the first? There was further instruction. The instruction came when he cried. That's why I remember speaking to the young men in one of the Saturdays and I said a believer who does not realize what is at stake about eternal purpose has a weak prayer line. A believer who truly realize what is at stake about eternal purpose can never have a weak prayer line because he knows so much rests on prayer. When the Lord leads the way, brethren, there is a place of prayer. What did I say? When the Lord leads the way, there is a place of prayer. It was the Lord that was leading the Lord Jesus Christ. God was the one that said, "Go and die, go and die." From the beginning to the end, Jesus started with prayer, He ended with prayer, He continued in prayer, and He said men ought always to pray. Is that not true? Jesus was a man of prayer. He prayed so much that His disciples said, "Teach us to pray." Teach us too to pray. So much was His prayer life. There is when God leads the way, there will be time, circumstance, situation of spirited prayer. I mean prayer, intercessory prayer, prayers, prayers, I mean I'm talking of prayers that you call—I like the word Brother Kumuyi used one time. He said "PUSH," when you pray until something happens. There are those kind of prayer. The Bible talk about Jabez. It say Jabez Kalao God. That is the Hebrew word. Kalao means Jabez cried out unto the Lord. There is a place of spirited prayer when the Lord leads the way. What I'm saying is that as you journey into 2018, set up your mind for spirited prayer. I mean prayers! There will be circumstances and situation where you will need to enter into intercession, enter into prayer, and pray, and pray, and pray. The Lord prayed so much so that the sweat of His body was like the drop of blood. That was the Lord. And He had left for us an example that we should follow His step. Don't let somebody tell you that when God leads the way there is no prayer. That's a lie. When God leads the way, there is a place of prayer. When God show His will, there is a place to stand on that will and say, "No, God has said, and I'm experiencing it and I'm waiting for him, there must be a manifestation," and you pray until something happens. When God leads the way, there is a place of prayer. There is a place of prayer. There is a place of prayer. And just two more things so that we close. He says, "Lift up thy rod and stretch forth the rod through and the midst of the sea and they will go on dry land. And behold I will harden the heart of the Egyptians and they will follow after them. And the Egyptians shall know that I am the Lord when I have gotten my honor upon Pharaoh, upon his chariots and upon his horsemen." And look at what happened. And the angel of God, which went before the camp of Israel, removed and went behind them; and the pillar of cloud, which went before their face, stood behind them: And it came between the camp of the Egyptians and the camp of the Israelite, of Israel; and it was a cloud and a darkness to them, but it gave light by night to these: so that the one cannot come near the other all through the night. And Moses stretched out his hand over the sea; and the Lord caused the sea to go back by a strong wind all the night, and he made the sea dry land, and the waters were divided. And the children of Israel went into the midst of the sea upon the dry ground: and the waters were a wall unto them on their right hand and on their left hand. Ah, I'm just trying to show you something quickly because I want us to pray. Maybe next week we will come and I will emphasize that area later before we if we—we now pick something else as the Lord will lead us next week. But what I want to show you is this: when the Lord leads the way, expect His extraordinary intervention. Mark my words. When the Lord leads the way, expect His extraordinary intervention. God will do some extraordinary things. Things you cannot explain. You could not be able to say how God will just—you say fact, eh, fact, ah, fact, ah. All you just be able to say is, "God, it is God, it is you, it is you." Expect His extraordinary intervention. The angel went, he left the front, he came between, formed darkness to that one, form light to this one. This one was having light, this one was having darkness. And human beings could not pass through the darkness. Even though they were moving, they could not pass. That look very, very strange. You are by a people and you cannot get them. You are just groping in darkness. And this one was having light by the same wall. I'm showing you extraordinary interventions of God. Expect extraordinary happening. Expect impossibility to become possible. mark my words. When the Lord leads the way, expect His extraordinary intervention. Expect impossibility to become possible. Things that look obviously impossible. How can a sea part, number one, in hours, and number two, the bed became dry. Do you understand that? The bed became dry, that chariots can go on it. I hope you know if you remove water from something it will still be wet, such that nothing can go on it. But it became so dry that even chariot could be riding, could be rolling, to let you know how dry it was. They went on dry land. Let us pray. Our time is spent, I want us to pray. The other little burdens I will speak on it next week before we move on. But I'm just showing you when God leads the way. Indications, things to expect. But the first thing you must do this evening, the prayer you must pray, is that God, lead the way. Expect that He will lead the way. That is how to come into this thing. Bring yourself into the experience. Expect God to lead the way. When you do your quiet time, wait for him. God has something to tell you. God wants to lead the way. I am telling you, brethren, Baba is saying, "I want to lead you." I want to lead the way. And He's showing you what you will feel as He's leading the way. I'm showing you what you will not lack. The Psalmist summarized, He say, "I will not lack." I'm showing you what you will not lack as He leads the way. But tonight, I want you to engage your spirit to say, "God, I believe. I believe you that you will lead my way." I believe you. Put up a heart today. Let faith arise in your heart. Don't look at 2017. Don't look at how it has been in 2016. Look at it for what God is saying now. Rahab was not looking at the past, she was not looking at "I've been a prostitute, I've been this." Leave all those things behind you and by faith, lay hold on God this evening and say, "God, I believe you that you will lead the way." You will lead the way. You will lead my way. God, I'm going to expect you. I'm going to wait for you in the place of my quiet time, in the place of my devotion. I'm going to create time. I will wait because you have something you want to tell me. You want to lead the way. You want to tell me what to do. You want to instruct me in the path that I should go. You want to teach me. You want to lead me in the way. You want to direct my path. Lord, I will wait on you. Lord, I will wait for you. He said, "Those that wait upon the Lord shall renew their strength." I'm not talking about fasting. I'm talking about waiting, expecting God to speak to you. That's the waiting I'm talking about. Those that wait, those that stay at the door, they are expecting him that He's going to lead them. And I'm telling you, He will lead. Baba says I want to lead you. I want to lead your way. If you will wait at His door and you say, "God, I'm expecting you," Oh, how do you do it? In your quiet time. As you wake up every day, why not say, "God, I'm expecting that you will lead my way. You said you will lead our way. Lord, what is the instruction for my life? What is it that you want to tell me? What is it that you want to make me know? Where is the way you want me to turn? Where is the path?" He said the Lord led them through the path of the wilderness. Lord, that path for my life, that path for my things, Lord put me in that path. Lord establish my faith in that path. I believe you that you can lead me. I will hear a voice from behind me that will say, "This is the way." Lord, I will hear your voice that says, "This is the way," that will turn me by the way that I should go, that will turn me by the way that I should go. Lord, I expect that you will lead me. Lord, I believe you. Lord, I will wait for you. I will wait for you. I will wait on you. I will expect you. Lord, I hold to you by faith that you want to lead my way. Thank you, Father. Amen.
